    I don't think people really look at Eloh in a negative way because of "the shot". Eloh defended Jordan very well and forced him to take a shot that probably only he could make.

    I was 22 years old watching this in the local tavern with a burger wings and a cold beer. I was just a kid, the bar was right across the street so I could drink as many as I wanted . now I’m 56 years old and I can honestly tell you what fun it was watching this series that week. Some things you never forget and sports is such an exciting part of our life’s history. I miss them times I miss 80s and 90s basketball. Don’t get me wrong loved that lakers team with Kobe and company Lebron made it extremely exciting again also , but those years watching the pistons the Celtics the sixers lakers with magic in my personal opinion can never be beaten. Wish all the kids today could have witnessed the 80and 90s teams.

    I remember it like it was yesterday. People know Ehlo from the shot but, what a lot of people don’t realize is that he was a good player and he and Mark Price were great shooters. That Cleveland team was no joke. But MJ is MJ and he willed them to win. The second best player on that team was a young Scottie Pippen averaging only 14.4 pts a game.

    So glad I was blessed to watch MJ live on TV. The nostalgia of his Airiness was different than watching the current NBA. That’s why I appreciate Kobe, he wasn’t Mike, but he was like Mike I’m so many ways.

    • @sacamentobob
      @sacamentobob Год назад +1

      what's funny is that Kobe is the closest to MJ, but in actuality a far cry from MJ. He thought he was better than MJ in his mind, but he thought wrong.
      MJ said once that the only player that could "beat him" was Kobe, simply because Kobe stole all his moves (and MJ coached him quite a bit). However it was just his humbleness that made him say that though as MJ is in a league of his own.
      All these "GOAT" discussions these days is just pumped by the NBA to make themselves look good once again - Lebron is not even close to Kobe, let alone MJ, and today's youth are being fed garbage with garbage comparisons. The NBA is losing viewership and growth as more and more people realise how boring the current "professional" league is.

    This sort of explains why mike is tough on teammates, he had to go through really difficult teams and took major beatings to finally get a chance to succeed. He knew early on what it took, he was probably overly abusive at times but in the end they won...

    It is fascinating to think how you could make a good documentary of every historical shot that MJ made. All of his clutch play, which are dozens of it. And people, even though they know the result, would still feel in awe of it. Crazy MJ has that GOAT mentality. An embodiment of winning.
