  • We are all looking for who we are. and we come to a conclusion by what we see and think. Are we looking in the right place? Who we really are is who we are in consciousness. We are not in the mass of thoughts about what we have achieved or failed at. these are obscuring our real self. We are something wonderful and complete but we can only experience it if we look and see behind this mass of thoughts. We are looking for results in what we have achieved in a worldly way and judging and diminishing our true magnificence. Our thoughts are only a reflection of our state of mind and not in any way who or what we are in reality. Don’t look there and mistake yourself for a thought. Don’t identify with your thoughts (How did you get them anyhow? Who gave them to you?) Look in the right place. That is inside you. If we still the mind and can then see beyond the thoughts we identify with. We will then experience what magnificent conscious beings we are.

Thank you for your positive response. Interest is the first step into anything. I am happy that that is how you found it.

I heard this story of looking for the key outside from Wayne Dyer in one of his speeches.

It is as you say, difficult in the digital world which is so powerful in capturing ones attention. I grew up without TV but I was an avid reader. Probably in the region of 5000 books (very little fiction). Books are not as compelling as the screen. But to detach from the mental stimulis and distraction books provided was also a huge challenge.
Every age has its own distractions.
To overcome the challenges of distractions and enter into consciousness has its price. And its huge rewards.
Thanks for responding and responding positively.
