This F-150 was an absolute mess. What do you think about all the extra work I put into it? Was it a waste of time? Thanks for watching!

Thanks much! Wasn't sure if I should go as far as I did, but I love perfection. (Or as close as I can get!)

Thanks Simon! Yeah, wish I could still get out a video per week like I did my first couple of years, but my old body just doesn't have the energy to do a detail, edit the video, AND teach full-time anymore. I've had to scale back a bit, but I'll keep putting out vids when I can. I might also start putting out some how-to videos as I get better at certain techniques.

That trim restorer worked! Awesome work! I liked the close up wheel cleaning.

Thanks much Ernest! I had never tried that trim restorer, but it was a night and day difference. Definitely going to use it going forward if people want their trim looking new again.

Jumping the Shark was the Fonzie from Happy Days. Nice work on this truck!

Correct! I wasn't sure if I was getting too "old school" there!

It's so great to be able to detail outside in the Winter. I've been able to here in Iowa as well.

It sure is. Savoring it this year because we probably won’t see anything like this again in our lifetimes.

And I forgot. Jumping the shark is from Happy Days. However, Jon Hein coined the term, “Jumping the Shark,” meaning a TV show has started its downward spiral of becoming unwatchable. 🤘🏻

All correct! I hope I haven't "Jumped the Shark" with this channel :) HA!

Minnesota, I thought at 1st your accent was Canadian. Nice work on this F150! Those windshield cowls are tough. I had a 2007 F150, and out here in Las Vegas the sun destroyed it.

Ha! Yes I’ve been told that before. I did marry a girl from Grand Forks so that’s almost Canadian and I did coach and teach for a year a couple hours from Canada so maybe that’s why! Haha.

@ScrappersDetailing my Wife is Canadian, from Alberta. Not much of an accent but I do like learning the different phrases used by Canadians.

@@SinCityDetail Oh yeah. I went to college a couple hours from Canada with a lot of Canadian hockey guys. They were definitely a different breed!
