I loved the dialogue with Accelerator and Aleister both knowing and telling each other that they actions are beyond forgiveness and going back to a normal life I’d impossible and wouldn’t do them any good. Aleister doesn’t have any interest in being a hero, however he is either a anti hero or anti villain. Accelerator as we know accepts who he is and knows what he must do.
Orsola wasn’t wrong about Touma. He forgave Fiamma and the likes of Accelerator, however I believe he forgave the Aleister that wants to redeem herself but will not forgive the Aleister who ruled Academy City.
Orsola outfit wow. I mean I like that change on her especially personality
I think Aleister at heart wants to be a hero but can't due to his circumstances from the curse, in addition to the darkness and hatred in his heart which is beyond the point of return.
But yeah Touma sees the good in everyone, while Aleister did many terrible things Touma still reaches out to him/her. And if anything, Touma is helping Aleister to also try and save Lola from Coronzon... Until the reveal at the end of the next volume of course

Damn a pretty great declaration between Touma and Accelerator, nice to see they are ready to help Aleister.

This summary was soo trippy that when you mentioned your 'old ones' (videos), I briefly thought you were going to start talking about Cthulhu and his/its siblings.
But then the video ended.
Touma and Accelerator that is one hell of a combo
If i was their enemy, no matter what power I had, id just turn around and give up
Accelerator and Aleister is now my favourite daughter-mother combo

Just think how amazing these scenes would be in the anime if our friends at JC Staff were not so lazy and they kept up with the LN’s🤔. At this rate I’ll be dead before they catch up in the anime lol….
It's more the producers/executives not giving more seasons of Toaru the green light as opposed to 'laziness', the animation industry in Japan is severely overworked to the point it's seen as bad to take holidays and working overtime is a given

Dear NT20 one of my favorite volumes overall, what a trip of events for real. I do ship a lot Orsola and Touma so ofc the entire dialogue was a treat specially since he really chose the most pacifist option for her and then she still helped in the fight. Qliphah was a great introduction, Accel was so freaking good through the entire volume 🗿he always based as fuck. "Fruit of her labor" was 100% one of the hypest moments in the series
And no matter what toaru Aleister deserves its stans in the fandom, what a brilliant character overall 🤝
Couldn't agree more, Orsola def improved as a character massively in this volume too

Well, Aleister is a complicated situation. I'd have to somewhat spoil you on the latest volumes of Index to explain.

So Coronzon (who is Laura Stuart) was defeated, then Aleister's soul took over her body making her Aleister now. While it's been hinted Aleister wants to destroy magic still, his current objectives have been to protect Touma although Touma gone against Aleister's plans which has made Aleister very disappointed. So I think it's likely Aleister will try and bring back the pure world despite Lilith being back, as the world still goes against his wishes.
Although, Aiwass, Anna Sprengal or Alice could be seen as the main villains (however this situation has also gotten complicated) we will have to wait and see... But I still believe Aleister is the overarching villain of the series, because during the Coronzon arc, Aleister was just trying to save his second daughter Lola, he was not doing it because he wanted to help others. Hope this answers your question kek.

I would make it but it feels like an impossible task atm to rank characters due to the amount of strong characters that have recently introduced without us seeing their full power or capabilities. Therefore I'm gonna wait a bit until we get more feats for them :)

There are so far 52 volumes from the Index novels divided in 22 from Old Testament, 23 from New Testament and 7 from Genesis Testament (which is still going as volume 8 comes out in may) and thats just for the main storyline, there are still a lot of sidestory volumes (such as SS1, SS2, biohacker SS, Kanzaki SS and more) and spinoffs as well (as you might know: railgun, dark matter, accelerator, mental out, item, astral buddy)

Accelerator's gender is confirmed several times lol. He is a Male. he is a dude, and he has never even looked like something else in any of the light novel artwork I've seen. Currently on GT, and theres never been a doubt. Sure he isn't a hairy musclehead, but as someone who is used to the japanese manga art style, he is well within male standards.

And thats what makes them special and good tbh, they get super weird but also super hype that for some reason they stick in your head compared to many other series plots/volumes 😂
