I'm new to pianos but was shopping for one to learn and pick up a better hobby than gaming. I found this review harsh considering the other reviews I checked out so I gave the i88 piano a shot. Boy was it a disappointment to me and what I prioritize in a product. Some people might like it, but not me. I immediately checked Consordini's website, found a list of pianos for beginners, and bought the Yamaha P45(it only costs 100USD more yet is another league of quality and sound). I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thanks Consordini.

I actually bought the inovus before seeing this video, and got to say this is just off, the piano has been great for me and have had no issues whatsoever

He’s a professional. The piano sounds great to me. He’s being to harsh.

@@robertmorton9052 A good professional would grade the instrument according to others in the same price category. In my professional opinion this is the absolute best keyboard for the price today. Some YAMMY's for twice the money are not as good....PERIOD.

Hey, Thanks for the real review...very helpful.
I too, am wondering if you can review the Alesis Recital Pro.
I'd be very interested in hearing what you think of it.
    Cheers,

The i88 is better. Try them both and see/hear for yourself.

Since you brought up the Donner DEP 20, the weighted action and touch sensitivity on this i88 is superior to the Donner. In addition, the Donner is way more bulky and for some people because of the height of the unit they may have trouble sitting at it and getting the level right for playing it. 7" depth is way too much. The i88 doesn't have that problem.
James at ThePianoforever channel gives the i88 a good rating for the price category. He also did a review of the Donner DEP-20.
For people who want to spend double the price, go to a Roland FP-30X for 1099.00 Canadian.

didn't he know the sustanpedal connection is one for a standard THREE pedal unit ( he's even boasting he's a "professional " just prior to that blunder ) .If anything that connector is a PRO

Thanks. I have been an orchestral trumpet player for over 30 years. Did my schooling at Curtis in Philadephia back in the 80s. What brand would you recommend for a weighted keyed electric piano, with a good piano sound? I appreciate your help!

Notice how he never answered you? How much do you want to spend? Is it for home use, a concert hall, stadium, coffee shop, church? If you just want to practice at home this i88 is the biggest bang for your buck right now. Next up I would look at the new Roland PF-30X which runs about 1088.00 Canadian vs. the i88 in this video which is 529.00 Canadian.
Don't listen to this guy's critique because he is comparing it to professional gigging instruments which shows he is really unfair and unrealistic. Seriously...why would anyone in their right mind compare a 529.00 instrument to one that costs thousands of dollars? To be fair, you look at what the competition offers in the price range you are looking at. The Inovus i88 wins hands down for the price. It's an awesome practice keyboard with a real piano feel, weighted keys and touch sensitive hammer action. 15 watt speakers is more than enough. The unit looks really nice, is well made, study, lots of sounds I would never use.

Although I think the review is very harsh (ouch). I mean you could have been a bit more gentle. Lol. I do get much appreciate the super honest no gimmicks review. I am not experienced by any means, but I think it makes perfectly good sense that these companies that make digital pianos should stop putting in all these useless, outdated and distorted sounds. And instead should focus on makinh some basic but clean and good products for people who want to learn piano on a digital instrument. And make sure that the outlets and features even if a few you are placed well and work well.
Too many bells and whistles of things that aren't needed and don't work well and barely any of the ones that are needed and should work well make for an overpriced piece of plastic. Not very nice for consumers, especially ones that don't know any better.
May I please ask for a beginner like myself what would you recommend for an 88 key digital piano and at what price range (Canadian)?
    Thanks again.
    🙏🙂

Dude, stop comparing the Inovus i88 keyboard to a high end professional band instrument.
Ok, so it's not a 5,000 dollar Roland of Korg....we get that. It's also not a 1500 dollar Roland or Korg. We get that too.
This is a keyboard for home practice...not for a concert hall or stadium FFSAKES.
Ok, so you are a professional....but going overboard to prove it by trash talking a perfectly good instrument for home practice is just too amateurish.
I've been researching for many months now and this i88 is the best keyboard in it's price class.
What the hell were you expecting for only $529.00 Canadian?
Everyone....buy this keyboard if it's within your price range and you are looking....there is NOTHING better for the price.....PERIOD.

Let's keep it classy. You don't have to swear. Sheesh.
Yes the review is on the harsher side but at least it's honest. He does often mention that for the price it is what it is, and is similar to other products of the same level.
And I think he has a lot of very very good points by pointing out the very poor sound quality of the different sounds and how a lot of them are totally outdated and unnecessary in this day and age.
      ✌️

@@loooveismusic8 nope, he IMMEDIATELY compares it to a Korg and a Roland which both cost about ten times as much . He also babbles about a "propriety din " connector for the sustainpedal while that is a STANDARD connector for a three pedal unit . If he wanted to be fair he'd needed to compare it to an Alesis - which is even slightly more expensive - or the Donner , not to the Nord ( $ 5000) , Korg or Roland keyboards .The entire review comes across as arrogant and boastful ...not impressed
