Kelly is an absolute legend obviously, but what impressed me most was how still she remains throughout this performance. Majority of singers regardless of skill level, usually use their bodies when singing it. They’ll often use their arms and hands to help guide them up to the choruses, then to not only hit but maintain those huge notes and sustained belts. Even the OG Loren Allred herself does it, it’s like they’re generating more power, yet Kelly just stands there, iconically effortless, and belts the shit out of every single note. It’s actually quite amazing. *ps.... also the fact that her voice is still clean and retains her beautiful tone is in itself surprising considering Kelly’s ageing. As women age, their natural vocal register and tone naturally deepens and natural singing octaves lower, but she sounds as perfect as she did in the beginning!! Wtf!? Who are you tiny songstress??🤩*

The people here are a bit demanding when she's on a tour with an hour or more per show and still wants her to do this song on the original key while still be PERFECTLY consistent on every note, every song and every show. I know where ya'll coming from, I also wanted to hear it in the original key with great vocals as much as you all do but give Kelly a break she is clearly exhausted. Let's just hope she'll sing this song again but in a better condition.

Umm listen to Morissete or Katrina Velarde sing this, blows this version away and I adore Kelly, she's amazing, versatile and underrated still this version pales in comparison to those.

I love to hear "me". It doesn't have to be hard to hit closed vowels like "eee" as long as you're applying an appropriate amount of nasal twang. A closed vowel like that will always be naturally nasal but nasality itself doesn't have to be a bad thing as long as it's controlled.

They usually sing meh because the sustained ee in Me is hard to sustain. Closed vowels are more difficult compared to open vowels.
From a technical standpoint it’s actually better and easier for singers to sing high notes on more open vowels like “ah” and “eh”.
