do not try this. also, i know i spelled incident wrong. but thank you for letting me know that over and over again. you see, in addition to the entire city being flooded we also lost electricity. editing video is tricky with no electricity. most of this video was edited at a starbucks in harlem, where there was electricity and some corners were cut. all that and i can't spell very well. i really did think incident was spelled with two e's.
In case if anyone’s wondering. RUclips removed the first song of the video which explains why there is no sound.

Alex Gonzalez casey allegedly used someone's music without permission and the owner of the music can strike the video either requesting all the money the movie makes or for the creator to mute the place where their music is playing.

i was a bit too young to fully understand how bad this storm was. i think i was in fourth grade which ages me, but i do remember my uncle in nyc struggling after his car was totaled and his buisness had substantial damage.
Cant remember the original if it had the "Cults - Go outside" or "Muse - Madness" obvious strike because casey monetizes now. Love you Casey

These guys deserve a holiday in their honor for being incredibly fucking awesome and documenting something so historical. Here on the west coast hardly any of us had a clue as to the level of severity regarding Sandy and its impact on downtown manhattan. This disaster is shocking to say the least. However, I'm so happy that this video was made and so thankful for these guys - you all should be too. Bicycles ftw!

I was out on my bike filming during the Hurricane Sandy and was attacked by several officers from the NYPD. They almost killed me that night.
What do you mean attacked? It seems unlikely the police would "attack" someone for no reason.
If you read my story, and google incidents on how police abuse their power then you would change your perspective. Just because you may not have been a victim or oblivious to these incidents does not mean they don't exist. Be cautious on how police views people with cameras, and learn from my experience.

I don't care much for people who didn't like this, I thought it was a real eye opener to seeing what happened especially now that we are living with the aftermath. This was taken before the Storm surge hit. The glass building you saw had 7 feet of water in the lobby at the hight of the storm surge with a grand piano floating in there.

I live on that street at 0:12 and used to live in this building "One New York Plaza" at 1:25! I'm in Zone A and this storm was so fun but unfortunately it wasn't fun at all for New Jersey and areas all over the Tri State.
That is incredibly errie! Especially after the lights went out. I pray for you all, They didnt show any footage like this on the television, and I wonder why no filming was to be done? Very messed up.
