This song is amazing to learn because it's a little bit technical and difficult but not insanely over the top, so it's a challenge for me but not impossible (unlike life).

It's actually very technical. The main pattern is quite easy to grasp, but the variation in 2nd verse and the last 2 choruses are really really difficult. Maybe not the pattern, but at the speed.
That being said, I love this song because it is very interesting to learn and it teaches you a lot of things. Finger flexibility, clean picking etc. But I hate the pattern that starts on the 2nd fret... I have small hands and that one REALLY hurts, lol

Great vid. I’ve been trying to play this on and off for a while now but I’m on 7 string drop A and I think it’s a bit harder transcribed like this. The opening riff and the final chorus lead is a tough exercise in alternate picking

I can play the main riff. up to speed. its not even a hard riff really. but my hands start hurting after just a few repeats. its just awkward... is there a way i can hold the guitar differently or move my fingers differently to reach the spots pore efficiently? especially the part at the 8th threat is kinda awkward and is probably the reason for most of my energy loss...

My right hand is a huge problem for me, I just can't play those arpeggios with alternate picking :'(
Take it slow and easy. Half speed or less if necessary. Get it right (smoothness and tension free) then speed it up. You'll get it eventually.
