The fact that we see all of them assemble and mask up for a fight implies that we're going to be treated to an extended battle scene in the next cour, but the combined Shinigami forces in Wharwelt fail to stop Gerard.

They are dead too; only the ones that Yamamoto killed turned into his "ghouls". That's why Yhwach presented Uryu as the only living Quincy to the army. Yama stated a couple of times that the Quincy were in fact already dead. That's why they didn't age despite being "human".
Gift Bad essentially means poison bath in German. The ending of ep 14 was only because Season 2 ended with half an episode less than they originally wanted, so they gave us 13.5 episodes here to make up for the 12.5 episodes of season 2 Also there's a bunch of newish to completely new tidbits in these episodes like: Uryu's bloodline being mention (they removed something else for this I think) AND the flashback to their mother's being expanded as well as Souken Ishida (Grandpa) getting to pass down teachings to Uryu with the book! Uryu vs Ichigo again was mostly new Visoreds pulling up or really doing anything A couple other minor things that might be a bit too spoilery to point out but they really popped off with this finale and the whole season!
It's crazy how much in the anime they are building up to exactly what makes Uryu special where as in the manga it was literally just a tiny hint dropped in passing by Yhwach with no answers or payoff.
Im really glad you enjoy it. Bleach is great, and Ichigo is my favorite MC. This Cour has been great and mostly original. They really fixed a lot of issues from the manga. This series is peak, and many people didn't think it was possible

Remember that Auswahlen is killing every non-pureblooded quincy (and also for some seconds it takes away all powers from all pureblood quincies). So in the manga we assumed that Uryu's mother died because she was not a pure quincy, and Ishida also was a non pure quincy, but he survived because he has something special about him. Now in the anime we see a completely different picture. Uryu's mother was unaffected by Auswahlen and Uryu was going to die because of it. But then he survives and his mother dies. Wich means there was something special about the mother, and she shared it with Uryu, though that made her die in the process. And in the new anime scene Uryu explicitly says that he can kill Yhwach because he has his mother's blood (and also his master's (grandpa's) blood). So that thing in him, that power, that he talks about in this scene, is probably the reason he survived Auswahlen

Byakya, Rukia, Renji, Momo, Shinji & Vizards VS The Miracle is awesome, but Vizards the real miracle, Yoruichi VS Askin battle is so hot and seeing Kira Gin Ichimaru's most trusted man since for a long time before even TYBW started was so nostalgic and insane! 😮❤
Sui-Feng cannot catch a break with her Bankai this arc 😂 First time she tries to use it - gets stolen Second time - gets to use it only because it was hollowfied Third Time - gets slapped by eyeball monsters as she goes to fire it Fourth time - gets slapped by Gerard as she goes to fire it
If Cour 4 is the last one then I'm sure you will absolutely love it... There are so many incredible moments in it that I can't wait to see fully animated... and I can't even imagine how Kubo is going to make it even better by adding in the additional 70-80% new content...
The sound design with that yoruichi scene is just spectacular, askin being a punching bag will never not be funny, the staff cooked so hard for these 2eps So the “hell arc” funnily enough is just a single chapter that takes place after the ending of bleach, that was released for its 20th anniversary (or another milestone) but at the end of the chapter Kubo included a tease for a potential new arc which, 4ish years later and still nothing so dw about it tbh
I'm gonna take a guess here and say Ryuken was doing an autopsy of Uryu's mom, not experiments. I'm also making a big assumption here and thinking that that's where his disdain for Quincies comes from, the fact that maybe he found out her powers getting stolen by the Quincy king is what killed her. And him being the AMAZING father when it comes to communicating his feelings to Uryu TOTALLY told Uryu everything and didn't keep it all bottled up inside while Uryu got the wrong impression from seeing his dad cut open his mom's corpse. But yeah, that that last sarcastic sentence aside, these are all just assumptions I have, I could totally be reading the situation wrong but don't confirm or deny anything here if any of you read the manga, I'll maybe read it after the anime is done.

Regarding Kira’s scene, the manga had Lille mention that he’s vastly weaker after Nanao destroyed his halo and it’s why Kira was able to harm him/others can normally harm him (the X-Axis auto-phasing is gone, but now there are a ton of smaller Lilles.) It’s been around 10 years since the last time we had ‘The Illustrated Guide to Soul Reapers’/‘Arrancar Encyclopedia’ with Gin and now Askin continues that tradition with ‘Quincy Daten’ and finally tells us that the name of the female Quincy that killed Bazz’s mom, was Nikita Deslock and a relationship chart of them (everyone dislikes Hubert to various degrees and Nikita hates him especially so with what she calls him.) Hubert is also high class and thinks that he’s the ‘strongest,’ calling Nikita inferior, the right hand man of Ywach as an annoying old man, and the last one is a loyal subordinate (they all get along with each other, though.) Maybe it’ll return next Cour and we finally find out what BG9’s and Robert’s Schrifts are and get short segments with them (like having a callback to Byakuya and Zommari teleporting behind each other, as Gin is confused in the background as they zoomed across the desert.) The new scenes were the Vizards returning and wearing the masks (also, Rose and Kensei being revived, Renji being revived by them, Shinji using Hado without an incantation, and Momo doing something), Ukitake/Mimihagi holding up the realms, the dads arriving early/grave scene and some Ishida backstory scenes, Riruka and Yukio returning, and one particular scene hinting at something from the Can’t Fear Your Own World LNs (just like how Shinji’s Bankai debut was added to the anime.) There are also Special Editions of the OP and ED on ViZ’s RUclips to watch/react to.
39:00 Don't be sad. There will be more Bleach content in the future. We have a 3 book novel series that could easily fill 12 episodes. There are also rumors about a remake and Kubo will deliver us a brand new Bleach Manga Arc when he finds the time for it.

I feel like people hate Askin just because he's on the Quincy side. He's not personally done anything malicious yet lol. So far he's fought the Soul King's royal guard, and they've done way worse things than the Quincy have.
Ishida was trying *really* hard to not kill those clowns (Ichigo and Renji) running at him full speed while also making it look as realistic as possible to not break his cover. Double agent is an unthankful job.
Not just sick, but unhappy that he couldn't incorporate some of his other ideas into canon. Hence why many novels were made, that help explain and/or showcase certain things of various characters. This arc is not only different from the manga version, but also faster pace than what the series usually was. So now that the show feels better because of that. And I'm glad the show is back in this way as well. It needed that sort of upgrade and change.
So much anime original content going into the next cour!! This is the moment where so many manga readers are going in mostly blind, and I absolutely love it!!

Worst part is they released a trailer for cour 4 and I was hyped for it since the one after Demon Slayer was hype. But it was just a "we're making it" like no DUH! Give me visuals! I'm really curious what they are gonna do after cour 4. I know Kubo is writing new chapters that take place after TYBW so are they gonna roll into that or what? I want Bleach anime to live forever!
For context, cours 1 to 3 have adapted more or less 60 chapters each, for the last cour there are only about 26 chapters unadapted. I am beyond exited.
Just to put in perspective, there are like 25-26 manga chapters left to adapt and every cour has adapted more than 55 chapters, so at least half of the content we will get in cour 4 will be new.
Amazing cour, I personally got more than I wanted. Excited for cour 4 and it's already been confirmed by Kubo that we are getting lots of anime exclusive content !!
I learned to read at a high level because I saw Bleach on adult swim as well and ended up searching Bleach on RUclips were the whole series was being posted in Japanese.
Well I got to say I actually thought it was over at the Full Bringer ark. I did try to find out anything in the manga there were not many panels. EVenthough we had to wait for the Blood war I am so glad we got to Finally find out more about his mom Who'd a thought she was a Quinsey! Mind Blown. It looks so good given we had to wait so long. We even got the to see Squad 0 .
For the Quincy Daten, its good they told us about the original guards, but it should have also told us about Sternritter K and N, as even in the Manga and Anime you never know what they are One collects data and counters, one moves fast, thats about all we do know about them... Quincy Daten could have been used for that The Gerard battle and Uryu fights were very messy in the Manga, these episodes already added more to the Gerard battle and we havent even started yet, some of the Visoreds do appear in the Manga but its very brief, so i feel the anime will rectify that
this was all pure setup for the payoff in cour 4 (manga readers know what kind of cool stuff is gonna happen). Also some setup here is anime original and therefore has no known payoff in the story yet, what makes it even more interesting ( 27:52 f.ex., god I have hope for them). Only thing they forgot to show was: where are grimmjow and nelliel right now? They vanished... but no worries because they will do stuff in cour 4 - especially grimmjow and its gonna be epic :)
If you had that reaction to Yoruichi's scene, you're gonna shit your pantaloons next cour with her fight 😂 Also, in the manga the Vizards got just absolutely shit on in one panel and that was the last thing they had to do in the story. So as a Vizard stan I have so much hope now that they aren't just going to be forgotten lol P.S. Ryuken wasn't doing "experiments" on his dead wife, it was an autopsy 😂

It’s been around 10 years since the last time we had ‘The Illustrated Guide to Soul Reapers’/‘Arrancar Encyclopedia’ with Gin and now Askin continues that tradition with ‘Quincy Daten’ and finally tells us that the name of the female Quincy that killed Bazz’s mom, was Nikita Deslock and a relationship chart of them (everyone dislikes Hubert to various degrees and Nikita hates him especially so with what she calls him.) Hubert is also high class and thinks that he’s the ‘strongest,’ calling Nikita inferior, the right hand man of Ywach as an annoying old man, and the last one is a loyal subordinate (they all get along with each other, though.)
Maybe it’ll return next Cour and we finally find out what BG9’s and Robert’s Schrifts are and get short segments with them (like having a callback to Byakuya and Zommari teleporting behind each other, as Gin is confused in the background as they zoomed across the desert.) The new scenes were the Vizards returning and wearing the masks (also, Rose and Kensei being revived, Renji being revived by them, Shinji using Hado without an incantation, and Momo doing something), Ukitake/Mimihagi holding up the realms, the dads arriving early/grave scene and some Ishida backstory scenes, Riruka and Yukio returning, and one particular scene hinting at something from the Can’t Fear Your Own World LNs (just like how Shinji’s Bankai debut was added to the anime.) There are also Special Editions of the OP and ED on ViZ’s RUclips to watch/react to.

This Cour was amazing! Pierrot Films sure did come out swinging.
Ishida was trying *really* hard to not kill those clowns (Ichigo and Renji) running at him full speed while also making it look as realistic as possible to not break his cover. Double agent is an unthankful job.
Not just sick, but unhappy that he couldn't incorporate some of his other ideas into canon. Hence why many novels were made, that help explain and/or showcase certain things of various characters. This arc is not only different from the manga version, but also faster pace than what the series usually was. So now that the show feels better because of that.
And I'm glad the show is back in this way as well. It needed that sort of upgrade and change.
I hope it beats solo leveling and dandadan for anime of the year

Worst part is they released a trailer for cour 4 and I was hyped for it since the one after Demon Slayer was hype. But it was just a "we're making it" like no DUH! Give me visuals! I'm really curious what they are gonna do after cour 4. I know Kubo is writing new chapters that take place after TYBW so are they gonna roll into that or what? I want Bleach anime to live forever!

For context, cours 1 to 3 have adapted more or less 60 chapters each, for the last cour there are only about 26 chapters unadapted. I am beyond exited.
Yeah we’re most likely getting more then 50% anime only content which is actually insane
Just to put in perspective, there are like 25-26 manga chapters left to adapt and every cour has adapted more than 55 chapters, so at least half of the content we will get in cour 4 will be new.

Well I got to say I actually thought it was over at the Full Bringer ark. I did try to find out anything in the manga there were not many panels. EVenthough we had to wait for the Blood war I am so glad we got to Finally find out more about his mom Who'd a thought she was a Quinsey! Mind Blown. It looks so good given we had to wait so long. We even got the to see Squad 0 .
For the Quincy Daten, its good they told us about the original guards, but it should have also told us about Sternritter K and N, as even in the Manga and Anime you never know what they are
One collects data and counters, one moves fast, thats about all we do know about them... Quincy Daten could have been used for that
The Gerard battle and Uryu fights were very messy in the Manga, these episodes already added more to the Gerard battle and we havent even started yet, some of the Visoreds do appear in the Manga but its very brief, so i feel the anime will rectify that

this was all pure setup for the payoff in cour 4 (manga readers know what kind of cool stuff is gonna happen). Also some setup here is anime original and therefore has no known payoff in the story yet, what makes it even more interesting ( 27:52 f.ex., god I have hope for them). Only thing they forgot to show was: where are grimmjow and nelliel right now? They vanished... but no worries because they will do stuff in cour 4 - especially grimmjow and its gonna be epic :)

Also, in the manga the Vizards got just absolutely shit on in one panel and that was the last thing they had to do in the story. So as a Vizard stan I have so much hope now that they aren't just going to be forgotten lol
