I liked your pun at the beginning. Worrying it would be too “heavy handed” after seeing pernida in the last ep.hah. Also, I think maybe the words to describe shunsui that you were explaining at the end might be slightly sullen, melancholic, bittersweet etc. he does seem to just be so wise and worldly that he can be playful but also very very serious and understands the horror and despair of what fighting to the death should be. shunsui's bankai was made so well. peak cinema. also, while everyone did feel his bankai, he still needs a good distance away from them because they'll still get caught up with his bankai.
let me explain about his shikai and bankai the shikai which uses multiple children games to defeat his opponent and the game he played is somewhat like red light and green light from squid game and his Bankai is stage play for adults, so there can also be multiple plays that he can do. So much range for his Bankai Let me explain the plot that shunsui's bankai: The play shunsui is telling is a suicide story of a couple, a man and a woman where Lillie Barro is the man, Shunsui is the woman. In Act 1: because the man hit the woman, he feels great shame as if the wounds he inflicted he can also feel them . Act 2: the man starts feeling even worse for what he did and develops a sickness because of this great shame. Act 3: as a way to atone the man drops into an endless ocean hoping to drown and the woman also drowns with him because she pities him. However, the man becomes a coward, starting to swim up to the surface abandoning his promise to drown along with the woman. That “Yooooooooooooooo……….Yaw” is immensely addictive and satisfying, send help as I can’t stop playing it. Anyways, Reikaku = Spirit Sense And the ‘Dharma Doll Fell Down/Bodhidharma Falls Down’ that Lilie Barro recognized as ‘chocolate ingles’ from Spain are both similar, if not identical to Red-Light, Green-Light as a children’s game, which is the gist of Shunsui’s Shikai abilities and like all Bankais, his is the adult/inverse version of that spiritual power. Act 1: ‘Hesitance and Apportionment of Wounds’ - A man hits a woman, he feels great shame as if the wounds he inflicted he can also feel them, and it becomes real damage, from mental to physical. In context, Any wounds that Shunsui or his opponent inflict on each other will emerge on their body as well, shareing the pain. Act 2: ‘The Pillow of Shame’ - The man starts feeling even worse for what he did and develops a sickness cause of this great shame. In context, black spots appear all over the body of Shunsui's opponent, causing them to bleed profusely. Act 3: ‘The Severing Abyss’ - As a way to atone the man drops into an endless ocean hoping to drown and the woman also drowns with him because she pities him. However, the man becomes a coward, starting to swim up to the surface abandoning his promise to drown along with the woman. In context, Shunsui and his opponent are engulfed in a massive, inescapable body of water, which both are meant to remain in until one of them runs out of Reiatsu and drowns. Final Act: ‘Thread-Cutting Scissors upon a Blood-Streaked Throat’ - As a result of all this, the woman wanting to get rid of the man's regret and cowardness, cuts his throat. In context, After sheathing his swords, Shunsui winds a white thread around his opponent's throat multiple times before pulling it out, leaving a deep cut in their throat that expands before blowing up their head. As for Lille Barro’s transformation, it’s his Vollständig/Voll Stern dich: Ziliel which is based on a biblically accurate angel as he’s the first Quincy to be granted a Schrift by Yhwach as the ‘closest to God’ and has power over light itself.

Yes I totally agree that Bleach TYBW episode 35 was a masterpiece of an epic battle of a strong sniper Quincy who had interesting Ziliel form VS the new Gotei 13 head captain Shunsui Kyouraku with the most amazing Bankai I've ever seen and a beautiful Ohana! But where was Shunsui other Zanpakuto's soul a ninja girl who always was with Ohana? Now because Shunsui is the head captain it's so awesome to see that Nanao-Chan has a bigger role in Bleach she deserves more screentime if you ask from me! And Don't chase a shadow was the cooliest episode of TYBW only because there was Kyouraku's Bankai and Ohana! ⚔️🔥💀💜
Hands are difficult to draw and animate in 2d that's why pernidas hand form is mostly CGI it's also because the director of the series wants to give pernida a creepy, disturbing, and otherworldly presence.
It's cool to see how much about his character you got right. Your questions will certainly be explained, probably after Baby Hold Your Hand 2. You even got the connection with the Zanpakuto Rebellion Arc. That's not even the first reference to that arc. Cour 1 used a flashback scene of Byakuya vs Kageroza from that Filler arc too. They used it for his "I have overcome fear" speech to Äs Nödt (right before being abused by our emo Quincy.)

Shunsui’s Bankai explained: In Act 1: Because the man hit the woman, he feels great shame as if the wounds he inflicted he can also feel them (and it becomes real damage). His Shikai is children games (reflects his outward calm, playful, chill personality) and his Bankai is an adult theater play (that reflects his more dark, sinister personality underneath) I really dig it.. and his Shikai is pretty broken because he can just stack games on top of games and can just confuse his enemy etc. Kubo also explained in a Q&A that Shunsui can do other acts or plays, much like his Shikai can do other various children games.

Hello, I have a question about the bankai, If the ennemi has more Reiastu than Kyoraku does the final act just don't activate or does it still activate but killing Kyoraku ?
They would need to have a significantly higher quantity to pull that off. Aizen only did it to Soi Fon because by that point he'd fused with the hogyoku and was so far above her that he could do it. Shunsui is one of the most powerful captains in the series, it would take someone exceptionally powerful to pull it off and likely the only characters who could do it are; Ywach, Aizen, Ichibe and Ichigo. Although there's clearly a technique to it or Ichigo could've been doing it the entire show since he's had more than double the strongest captains' reiatsu since the arrancar saga lol Hope this helps
I'm 50/50 with the CGI scenes. CGI buildings? Perfect! For characters? Meh. Some Pernida scenes looked goofy. Others were amazing like the one where it started "running" towards Mayuri. So good!
The enemies are practically impossible to defeat. You hit the nail on the head with the problem with New Bleach. The enemies aren't like enemies of old where the powers were generally understood and they might pull a special out when needed and you can follow and understand the fights. The power creep and Ex Machina of people just being to do whatever they need to do to win a fight at any given point makes the fights seem boring and less impactful because you just know that someone could be laying on the floor cut into a thousand pieces and OH DIDN'T YOU KNOW, they have the 'stitch back together' power' you never knew about and they're not defeated after all. I love me some Bleach, but seriously, it's just a bit much now!!
If you are talking about lille being intangible it was already shown in episode 26 , there are future parts in the manga with deus ex machina's but there's nothing of that sort right now.
@@Ap76822 I'm talking about EVERY enemy since new Bleach started 😅 Not only were they strong fighters they ALSO could steal Bankai and ALSO could harden their skin making them impervious to damage and ALSO had another power granted to them based on an alphabet letter and now the remaining ones ALSO have been powered up further by Yiweh. They've all already been killed too and IT DOESN' MATTER !! It's just too much man, it's just nonsense after nonsense after nonsense until the writer decides someone wins😂
@@Shanghaimartinthese are all plot points established way before he did it.If you hate it then it's a you problem.Almost Every shonen follows the same thing, new arc =stronger enemies
Two of the Royal Guard are parts of the Soul King. The other is a demi god and the final one was buffed by the son of the Soul King. Of course they are going to be stupidly OP, that's the whole point.

Act 3: as a way to atone the man drops into an endless ocean hoping to drown and the woman also drowns with him because she pities him. However, the man becomes a coward, starting to swim up to the surface abandoning his promise to drown along with the woman.
Act 4: As a result of all this, the woman wanting to get rid of the man's regret and cowardness, cuts his throat.
Kubo also explained in a Q&A that Shunsui can do other acts or plays, much like his Shikai can do other various children games.
oh btw its reverse because only read if you want spoiler
its uryu doing his schrift antethsis is reversing the events
I have been waiting for it. Bankai katenkyokotsu karamatsu shinju
Ohh yall about to wtiness the greatest Sternritter This fight is only half the fight
26:00 Maybe "crestfallen"?
The CGI hand was a little off but it didn't ruin the episode for me.
花天狂骨枯松心中 katenkyokotsu karamatsu shinju
Act1 躊躇疵分合 tameraikizu no wakachiai
Act2 慚傀の褥 zanki no shitone
Act3 断魚淵 dangyo no fuchi

Hello, I have a question about the bankai, If the ennemi has more Reiastu than Kyoraku does the final act just don't activate or does it still activate but killing Kyoraku ?
They would need to have a significantly higher quantity to pull that off. Aizen only did it to Soi Fon because by that point he'd fused with the hogyoku and was so far above her that he could do it.
Shunsui is one of the most powerful captains in the series, it would take someone exceptionally powerful to pull it off and likely the only characters who could do it are; Ywach, Aizen, Ichibe and Ichigo.
Although there's clearly a technique to it or Ichigo could've been doing it the entire show since he's had more than double the strongest captains' reiatsu since the arrancar saga lol
Hope this helps
@jgphantom6 OK thanks, so we don't really know what will happen ?
17:27 it's a pokemon. it's arceus 😂
Hahahahah omg
I'm 50/50 with the CGI scenes. CGI buildings? Perfect!
For characters? Meh.
Some Pernida scenes looked goofy. Others were amazing like the one where it started "running" towards Mayuri. So good!
Shunsui turned Lille Barro to Lil Bro. It's great to see his theatre of death and Ohana.
? what don't make sense this fight will continue
@@ignusthemad3150 he clearly doesn't know what will happen lol
That lil bro gonna fold shunsui after next episode
@@LikablSouL Shunsui would have gotten folded COMPLETELY if.... spoiler below!!!
Nanao chose to not stay.
@@LikablSouL I mean that form is so god damn cool
Words for Shinsui- nonsensical melancholy.

Day 2
Still hoping that one day you will watch Gintama 🙏
I love me some Bleach, but seriously, it's just a bit much now!!
i dont agree
If you are talking about lille being intangible it was already shown in episode 26 , there are future parts in the manga with deus ex machina's but there's nothing of that sort right now.
@@Ap76822 I'm talking about EVERY enemy since new Bleach started 😅
Not only were they strong fighters they ALSO could steal Bankai and ALSO could harden their skin making them impervious to damage and ALSO had another power granted to them based on an alphabet letter and now the remaining ones ALSO have been powered up further by Yiweh.
Shunsui's bankai is like a traditional Japanese theatre act..
I love you? Lmfao
Whatup
shunsui the goat RAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH
