I don't understand one point - First you generated flat pattern of the tank, next you divided it into plates 2x4 and 2x2 m, and then you projected those plates into external, cylindrical surface of the tank. But the external surface od tank is not the same surface as the flatt pattern. Could you please explain?

Its even a mistake because metall sheet should be rolled along 2m side.
Otherwise the vessel will be damaged structurally.
