I love the way this looks. It’s so aggressive. Probably depends on the trim you go for though. I don’t think base models will look as good.

James Strong Have you got it yet? I picked mine up 3 weeks ago. Chronos Grey with diamond cut wheels. It replaced my 2015 1.4TFSI A1 SLine. Loving it so far. I bought the black Audi rings from Amazon and de-badged the rear too.

A car that looks this sporty should have the option of a more powerful engine.
ray dollars im pretty sure the 2019 S1 is in the works, brand new cars often don’t necessarily come with powerful engines right away
Besides that 115 hp is not bad for a car this size and weight
The car isn't out yet they need to know if the car is gonna sell before they start making loads of engine sizes.

Audi in anywy will win compare with TOYOTA / HYUNDAI
Due to
- Precision manufacturing in quality seats and materials with its comfortable colors.
- the width of the wheels.
and
- the harmony of the engine speed.
and
- the weight of the axle.
Just Require more to focus in Middle East / especially Saudi Arabia Market by pushing the dealers to let the spare parts available within good price and to encourage the young people.
If the internal dimension is a little less than the A3 I'll go for the A1

@@cyrilleyong9615 Most cars have fake parts on them, you're fighting a losing crusade. Thing is people just dont care. The biggest issue is fake exhaust tips as they mimic something thats actually real on the car. Styling is another issue though, either you like it or hate it

I’m really disappointed with Audi’s Decision to not include North America for the release of this car or the Q2....?? I heard a rumour that the Q1 will be released in North America in 2020 to compete with BMW’s X1 but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t come.... uuugh!! 😖

@Dapdoi Ardon What on earth you on about? Lol RWD audi? The car isn't meant to be like that. This is an A1 model with probably max 150PS 1.5 TFSI engine. The design reflects on that and does not need huge vents or manual handbrake. It's a comfortable city car with all the things you need. The S1 on the other hand will most likely be Quattro and only offered in manual transmission to ensure the S3 still has a selling point (DSG). The engine will probably be the same 2.0 TFSI from the S3 but with around 250PS.

@@bb8228 na mate. Head of audi has already stated there wont be a new s1. The r&d cost far too much for the last one. Not enough sold. Not enough profit from the car. 4wd was very differcult to do and just not financially worth it. They are spending the r&d on electric vehicles.
This was in a recent interview. The only way we would get a performance model is if they follow the polo route and go 250bhp fwd.

Not luxurious and not sporty. I mean the Mini Cooper might not be luxurious to many but it sure is fun. I'm not sure what the A1 is suppose to be given it seems the Polo does everything it offers, for less
I have a polo and I drove an A1 they are pretty different. The A1 has a better set-up when it comes to chassis and suspension and those go a long way in making the car feel more sporty. Also it's nicer inside and outside the polo is good but no comparison with the Audi
Blake Swan And then the Seat Ibiza offers everything the Polo has for less, and then the Skoda Fabia offers everything the Seat has for less. People pay for the badge, the interior or even the design.

@Dapdoi Ardon I agree with Seat being pointless, but bigger Audi's are much better than the equivalent Volkswagen's in terms of quality and design.

That’s a LOT of money for a more budget interior. Audi = premium price + premium interior. I wouldn’t pay 18+ k for a car with flakey interior.

5 door only? Not that sporty then. Rear three quarter view looks like a Skoda.
No-one in Europe is buying 3-door hatches anymore that's why every brand is ditching them for the market
ShroomWalrus the mini 3 door isn’t going anywhere. Plus I think these types of cars are better suited for younger single people or couples, not a family of 4

@@neitherlink6612 If you have no friends...nobody likes having to jump out, so the seat can be pulled forward for the rear passenger. Plus, many of the new 5 door hatches look as good, or better.
@@shroomyesc I am. I got one of the last A3 3-door versions. I think they look ace and to be honest who wants extra doors and weight when youre not using them. Cheaper to simply manufacture, but doesnt mean people dont want 3-door. Theres less space on the roads these days on top of that

Looks good but the drive is boring. And it does lean in the corners. Disappointing given its price.
As with the new Ibiza and polo and now the A1 you get a cheap hard plastic interior and pay even more for it!
they re not cheap, they re actually quite strong, and without going to mercedes s class territory all cars have plastic inside

Why must all VAG products be chock full of fake vents on the outside? Splatters of cheap black plastic drag the expensive look down.
It looks like a downsized version of the Q2, dreadful. Polo looks better than this, that's not a handsome car either. It'll sell due to the badge 😕
