I am sorry this review is misleading, I went from M4 that tried to kill me from November-March each year....uk wet/cold roads...to me RSA4 ...the Audi is just so much better in the real world...more comfortable, faster from A-B on a B road....and the security of all wheel drive on winter tyres...means you can push it hard...for me that equals fun.....
i realy wish i had the money to buy this fabulous outstanding dream machine high tec pure power with a blend of style that is perfection to the eye please one day be mine mr shaw
Yawwwwn here we go again. All modern cars at this level have a disconnected electric rack system. Isn't about time the journos got over the fact that neither the Audi , BMW or Mercedes are going to give steering feel using this system. The worst example could be the M4 (not competition) which I drove recently has absolutely no feel yet they don't complain. Come on lets put this to bed guys. You cannot generate old skool mechanical feel from modern electric decoupled systems. You can produce more accurate steering but they ALL will feel similarly numb.
Not strictly true. Sure, most old-school systems will feel more involving than most modern ones, but there are different degrees of success in all the latest cars. Not all of them are as numb as the RS 4.
' ...the steering is the problem ....big thrills are not forthcoming ..' - SO WHAT is this knob comparing it to? If Audi wanted a V8 or to apply less technology(ies) to the overall package - match Mercedes (?) - they'd have put one in it. If they wanted same M4 dynamics....or some super sports characteristics they'd have made that happen too. It wouldn't be introduced as an RS4 though would it! Up to half of these so called Auto Journalists just don't bother to 'also' try understand OEM Product Marketing & Positioning. It seems like after jumping off of a plane and driving direct from the nearest Airport, these guys drive a test car for anything between 2 hours and 'over 2 days', and then boast expert enough opinion at that stage to offer judgement on how that car is - period - ....while the eventual Buyer / Customer will typically own it from more than one year, likely 2 or 3, sometimes more and know it in much more intimate detail. Critique is what viewers want, but when you say something negative (or positive)...it helps to explain with a little detail so viewers / readers can themselves understand judge, ...and to back up 'opinion' with at least a little use of facts or data :-( After seeing & reading several 'other' reports, it seems this B9 'will be' a worthy barer of the RS4 name.
I'm comparing it to other cars of this type. The steering in comparable Mercedes AMGs is better - meatier, more direct, more engaging. When you have RS in the name, I think you're entitled to expect a sporty experience, and Audi markets it as such. The RS 4 doesn't deliver that to the level I'd expect.
The idea of an electric steering is to save space and improve fuel . So most Morden cars will always suffer from numbness with no feel including Mercedes , BMW and all other cars not just an Audi so journalist please accept and get over this
My wife absolutely loves electric steering! After Audi, she went to Volvo V60 Polestar, and the main question was - "will it have adjustible electric steering"? It's XXI century - all cars don't have that old road feeling, but for me - i don't miss it - parking was really pissing at those old days :)
"450 bhp is a ludicrous amount of horsepower" just lol. This dude is living in 2002. You need well north of 600 ponies these days to be classified as ludicrous imo.
You only need to check out my music collection to know I'm living in 2002. I'm very happy there. Seriously though, 450hp is a lot of power, even if more cars today reach those figures.
I feel bad for people who drive right hand cars its just awful. U miss all the fun. For instance ur infotainment controller on the left u have to use ur left hand to use that and to shift u have to use ur left hand, just awful experience u missing all the fun. its like u r left handed so wierd. Lol
That Audi green color is amazing.
I can't think of a perfect car more than this it does everything so well it's premium it's looks very nice just amazing
I love the green colour and green accents in the interior. Very unique.

Nice Alan Partridge impression
I'm taking that as a compliment.
Was really hoping it had the wonderful 5 cylinder motor from the RS3.
RS4 - for when you need to get to Ikea... _yesterday_
I feel like this guy will never be impressed by Audi after seeing all his Audi reviews
So much want. Unfortunately I'll never get in the states
Is it me but why do the guy's always test the fast cars? When Rachel Hogg is far better on the eye
M Skallywagg I agree Rachel Hogg Is a better Video Presenter
A blue one please
drop for drop cylinders, I'll wait till they drop it to 5cyl. engine just for the sound of it.
I love these cars 😜👍👌

What film-location was this? Around Malaga?
Yep!

Phedra Band It’s called Sonoma green.
Which part of Spain is it?
It's around Malaga.
i want one perfect.
I want one
“450bhp to be accurate” Well that statement is completely inaccurate as it only had 444bhp!!
Simon Dick I think he said 450hp not bhp?
I did! 450 horsepower, 444 brake.
