one of your best videos, I'm envious of you being able to do things like that with your father . I never got to have quality time like that with my father, so don't take it for granted . you are blessed that you and your son get these times together, enjoy.
I really like these videos with your dad and son with the MUX. Lots of channels have tough tracks with big rigs, but I always enjoyed your wanderings in less capable vehicles and just exploring regions.
This!
Old school Tyler Thompson video! Just like the Nave days… thoroughly enjoyed it👍💯
That was an awesome video Tyler, bloody amazing places you went to. Your entire production was really well put together, the spots were so fantastic to see, what a trip! I’m sure everyone will love this one. Great work mate, thank you for sharing it.
Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Return of pop. Those rock walls were like something out of Indiana jones!
A walk around video of Dad’s MUX would be awesome.
This was like old skool Tyler. Loved it. Enjoy all the bananas stuff you can do now, but great just to see some awesome camps and good times with ya Dad and Kai.
Cool vid mate. Good to see two and a half men for a change. Fantastic choice of music too, made the show very enjoyable.
Great video with the team. Dad, son and pop make a great team.
What a way to say goodbye to my stressful day! Thanks so much, Tyler and crew for the quality content you keep delivering. Love it!!
Great to see an episode from the original phase of the channel !
Honestly your videos are top tier Tyler, favourite RUclipsr and always enjoy watching your videos 🙌
Got the band back together!!
I haven’t been to that region in years, though we did check out the tracks north of Batemans bay last Summer, Thanks for bringing back the inspiration Tyler, as always you’ve delivered! Doesn’t matter if you’ve got a bit less 4WDing in your vids, we don’t all have as capable a vehicle as you, but its good to know a 4WD set up for touring should still be quite enough to tackle a trip such as the south coast inland.
Cheers, keep them coming!
Extreme hiking “ mild touring ,
nice for a change 😎, drone footage has really changed the game hasn’t it, great to see Pa back again
Good to see you trekking with the old man and son again where it all began.
👊😜👍
Excellent vid mate👍 I like the way you go exploring with no real destination. Great to see three generations of family out enjoying the Australian bush.🇦🇺🚙👏👏👍👍
Thanks 👍
Nice,Great to see the old crew back together....Fantastic....😊...Top scenery and camp spots...Superb .....Xclnt.....
Awesome video guys , some great touring and camping. Pretty keen swimming down there 🥶🥶.
Thanks 👍
"Its pretty bland" lol want an honest review get the kids to do it. No filters love it. Very scenic country - great vid👍
great to see some back to basic camping mate Bloody awsome keep it up Nice to see Dad do it in a prety stock 4x4 too
Lol love the shots of running back for the cam 😂
Hey Tyler! Here are the correct ways to pronounce the words - Took me a while to learn them too
Deua - Day Oh Wa
Bendethera - Ben Deth Ra
Merricumbene - Merri Cum Been
Oulla - Ou La
One of my favourite places to explore - I would also recommend visiting 'The Big Hole' and the Marble Arch as well
Mate, one of the best videos for a long while. The other camper/family ones are OK, but IMO the bulk should be like this and like the old Nav, Kai and dad adventures. Loved it. I reckon you should go back to the Nav too. That Patrol is a beast and makes the tracks look too easy (i.e. the Nav was better to watch). I look forward to the next adventure 👍.
Good to see another 3 generations trip exploring the bush finding epic camps. 👍
Great vid mate, that walk was cool. It's such beautiful country down that way. Def chilly in winter haha. Good on you all for jumping in the water.
Thanks mate!
Love the EP. Good to know I'm not the only clown running back forth for a GoPro
There is a crack like that at Deep Pass.
Instead of going upstream at the creek to do the canyon, go downstream a bit and cross back over the creek into the crack. It comes to a T shape, go right and it pops out near the wall covered in indigenous art.
Really missed the videos with you, Kai and your dad. So enjoyable and relaxing.
Tyler is a wordsmith. Another tongue twisting 4wd adventure.
After coming down the Mt it’s a good idea to let ur brakes cool a bit before going through that cold water crossing, ur dads car had what looked like steam coming out of it
Ies enjin breaking with auto.
35:30 to 36:20... that's some of your best work Tyler....
Your cinematography is getting so good. Your choice of music is also superb. Well done on a perfect edit.
Thanks mate
Reckon I could stay at camp 2 for about a month before spending another month at camp 3.
Your "fire box". Chuck in a few of the bits of wood that fly off when you're splitting logs with an axe. Having those few chunks of dry timber makes getting a fire going in the rain much easier.
"Mary Cum Bean" fire trail.
Sounds like a good time
Awesome video! Awesome trip!
Wonderful video. ⛺️
Bloody hell mate, Bendethra Valley ay. Haven't been there for over 18 years, still looks fantastic though, living in Victoria now and loving the high country.
Bloody awesome video mate. Videos like this is why I started watching you. There are plenty other channels filming big bog holes.
That river camp spot was stunning. Be great spot in summer, kai nearly falling in the river off the rope swing was a hoot🤣
Great to see your Dad and Kai back in the picture, like the older videos.. love this type of content. Family / camping is also awesome don t get me wrong, but this is back to what made this channel what it is today !! Excellent stuff Tyler.
👍👍👍
i knew that swing would result in at least one wet shoe
Loved this one Tyler
Cheers!
Spectacular area. We enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing. (Watching from Costa Rica)
When are we gonna see the young fella behind the wheel 👍
Go the LED whip! Yeeeww!!
Loved this video mate, the filming was top notch and the views were absolutely amazing! Definitely had some High Country vibes ✌️
Awesome video. Enjoying your episodes from South Africa. Nice to see a bit more of Aus!
If you're coming to Melbourne 4x4 show this week, please pack some pants!
It's one inch cold down here
80% of 4x4 family's should do this as a introduction to real 4x4, yes I watch hard core 4x4 only to see what not too do...Don't forget National Parks need permits./per park, I enjoyed this one Tyler, Ta.
Great film Tyler! One these days you’re going to have to get your dad an upgrade from the Mux!
The old td isn’t blowing much smoke, you wouldn’t think it’s on its last legs.
Keep up the great work mate 👍🏽
👍thank you ❤️
Awesome to see you, Dad and Kai hitting the tracks again 👍
Epic views 👍 Toyotas deffo the tool for the job Dads motor doing well 👍
good story in some great country.
What I took out of this video was the footwear you had on 😂😂😂😂
Nice mate, nice!!!!
Nice one......
Have a good week 🤙👍
You guys eat well, making me hungry
Ha, camped in that very spot at Bendethera many times!
When you just finish watching a tyler vid and he brings out a new one 🤌
Awesome awesome video mate. Been visiting family for years in Broulee, never knew these places existed. I guess you gotta explore. Keep it up.
Loved this episode. Awesome location. I’ve added to my list of places to check out myself. 👍🏽
Awesome video mate the scenery was beautiful
Go the Patrol! about time south coast NSW gets a good video! 🏞️🛻📹🤙😎
Should of given me a yell bud , just down Moruya way .. some hidden gems out west 👍🏼
Mate, this is awesome. Envious that are able to get to these places. I hope people watch this, get inspired to go out their and make their own memories .
Mate apart from travelling to such pristein untouched places, what made it extra special was, your dad, you, & your son.
It doesn't get better than that.
I would give an arm just to venture out with you, going to these great n crazy places.
Mate your videos are addictive.
What a clip
What a place
What a company
You Bute Mate.
Cheers mate!
This was a great episode @tylerthompson. Have been a long time viewer and big fan of the show. But to be honest havent watch much of the content in the last 12 months as i didnt care for the build videos and mud bogging in patrols ( this is ok i dont need to like every video) but this video was great. A real throw back to what you do best. Showcase a random area and have a blast with your young fella and your dad.
Awesome
Hello Tyler, i am new to your channel and 4x4ing. Love the vids. Know nothing about cars but you are inspiring me to get out more. Keep them coming.
Thanks mate!
Awesome video again, I would be able to stay in those campsites for about a week as long as I'm warm and have good food I'd be right at home.
Awesome video mate love the nsw southcoast
Awesome rig. Beautiful family. Wonderful video. cheers
Here for the outro
Great vid as usual....
Great spots and your videos are really good quality. Good stuff.
Cheers!
Awesome episode mate!🔥
Awesome video
You're not wrong about a swag on a stretcher as a simple but uber comfortable setup. Before I got a RTT, it's the setup I had when going solo 4WD camping. Then upgraded to a stretcher tent for a short time, before moving to a RTT. Another brilliant exploratory overlanding trip. Enjoyed this one. 👍
Thanks mate!
Great video again and awesome drone footage. Thanks again for another great episode.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Tyler, what an awesome area mate. Just south of Sydney a couple of hours. Spectacular swim holes and scenery!
Love the videos mate, and like how you put your " bloopers" in at the end😂
Great ep 👌 How good is the drone footy 👍Nice area.
It's a shame the bendethra caves were closed. We went in summer. Hard walk but the caves were amazing.
Great video, great inspiration to get out again.
Cheers Tyler bloody awesome looks like a few more spots to add to the list (she's getting pretty long). . Bugger about the caves went there years ago, pretty cool surprised they let you in there actually big ledges slippery etc hopefully not closed for good. . That split rock mountain looked amazing👍👍
When homemade was going slow in the grooves and gently bellied out yes it was nice to see him check his winch is working good but I would have tried the max tracks first even if you've made the match tracks into a step
Big up 👍🏻👏🏻
Give LRTimes a watch also very interesting engineering 👍
Nice 👍
You have done alright with your place name pronunciations mate. Bendethra ia a top spot.
YAHOO Dads back , that legend can drive , i would love to hang out with your dad , [no homo ]
Awesome video dude, how do you find all these awesome spots.
Great video and trip. I am from Victoria and wondered if you would share the tracks and destination you went?
At least it didn't taste like horseradish!
It looked to me that the first obstacle/challenge of Porkchop Hill was a rock crawl. Should have brought Demi's Cruiser so you wouldn't need to take the chicken track 🤣
Great video and production is spot on 👍🏻 and a nice area with no car busting tracks .
Has the MU-X got a front locker yet ?
Cheers mate, not yet
Cool vid. Paying particular attention to how the GQ articulates on the tracks. Yes, I'm a Patrol owner and a bit obsessed with them . Haha. What steered me towards a Patrol was watching the Hilux cult doing very bad things on the road. I now can't buy a Toyota. Nissan here we come and haven't looked back.
Interesting preference running awning on driver’s side, does it work better the way the interior is set up
I'm biggest fan
Should go out yalwal and do monkey gum haven’t been down it in a couple of years but should still be fun
Hi came you do a walk around of the mux for us isuzu lovers please .
