Program Any GM Key Using Techline Connect Software

Do you have to use up a Vin slot for this as you would when programming any other module?

Do you need an LSID to use this? Im sure you dont but am trying to confirm that you can use techline-connect with only a nastf account and obviously register with GM, but not necessarily need an LSID (for locksmiths)

You dont need techline connect to program keys or remotes on a 2008 the vehicle has built in programming. The only time I use SPS is for 2012 and up...and that is only for the remotes not the keys.
