2004 GMC Sierra 2500hd duramax steering wheel slop/freeplay FIXED

there is an adjustment screw called a set screw located underneath the top of the steering wheel cover. I have never heard of this before in all my years, nor have I heard anyone else talk about it. just wanted to help out any other fellow mechanics who've been tearing out their hair on why the steering wheel had that dead spot.
