God doesn’t need anybody. He is holy! To say God needs a friend in a joking way is actually disrespectful to God. You can get to know the nature of God by reading his word, the Bible.

I've been watching Mr. Ross for many years. The things he could do with the paintbrush is just absolutely astonishing.
It's still one of the most relaxing things I've ever watched. Bob was just fantastic!
I grew up a child in the 90's loving to watch Bob. I was never artistic and don't paint. However I still love watching Bob and his style.

Been a huge fan of Bob Ross since I was a kid. Used to watch him as a kid and I could never turn it off. I’m not artistic or a painter. Now I know why I could never turn it off, the original ASMR master. Long live the legend.

Aaaaaah Bob Ross when I learned about him he already had passed away I didn't know this after years of watching him on 📺 TV the network never mentioned it then I watched him on youtube and I still didn't know until a comment I read but couldn't believe it so I searched on his biography on the internet and it was true And I was like mother of mary all this time it was like watching the spirit of Bob Ross painting away as if nothing had ever happened well I'll keep it that way then as if nothing ever happened Bob is still alive

This is so relaxing
When I saw this video it blew my mind away knocking me off my seat in the beginning where Bob Ross started on the top of the mountain landscape it looked very realistic and more realistic as he was making marks especially in between 2:45-3:15. A charming painter who was known for his phrase, "No mistakes in art." He said it because he doesn't want anyone as student apprentices in the art industry to be discouraged and to make art the way they see fit. That's why I chose him for a Halloween 🎃🎃 costume at a Knights of Columbus Halloween party with extra treats. It wasn't candy 🍬 🍭 but a nice blue water bottle but my parents ruined it by putting it in the microwave and the bottom melted. The most important thing was I won the costume award and said his phrase with a round of applause. RIP Bob Ross and keep painting eternally!!
I remember bob ross just showing up on my tv when I was younger and my mom would watch u paint your drawings were always so good I think my sister got her drawing inspiration from u or something maybe even skills🤷🏾

- Midnight Black (Bob Ross branded oils)
- Dark Sienna (Bob Ross branded oils)
- Alizarin Crimson (Bob Ross branded oils)
- Sap Green (Bob Ross branded oils)
- Cadmium Yellow (Bob Ross branded oils)
- Yellow Ochre (Bob Ross branded oils)
- Indian Yellow (Bob Ross branded oils)
- Bright (Permanent) Red (Bob Ross branded oils)
Bob used his own 18x24" style canvas with a double-primed grey gesso. He uses a "wet-on-wet" technique in OILS and to achieve this he uses a primer called "Liquid White", "Liquid Black" and "Liquid Clear" depending on the effect he wants for his paintings (daytime/night etc.). This primer allows him to blend colour on the canvas without having to work so hard on the palette to achieve the results he wants. NOTE: The primer goes onto the canvas before you apply the oil paint as it's an underlayer hence the term "wet-on-wet".
Bob also uses his own branded NATURAL BRISTLE BRUSHES (not synthetic) - 1", 2", no.3+6 fan brush, no.6 filbert brush, 2" blender brush, 1" and 2" foliage brushes and no.5+10 palette knives which you can purchase on the Bob Ross website or through Amazon etc. (a couple of examples).
Lastly, if using oils, DO NOT USE WATER AND SOAP TO CLEAN YOUR TOOLS. Turpentine (strong aroma), white spirit or Bob's own branded ODORLESS paint thinner can be used to clean the brushes and you may find it useful to purchase a cleaning screen and bucket to contain the mess.

Why is hardly any episodes available in the U.K now?
i asked this and all they said was that his videos are available on bbc iplayer, no explination was given as to why the videos were removed in the first place unfortunatly, you also need a tv licence for bbc, they claim its for all live tv but apparenlty thats bs, i dont have a tv licence since i dont watch live tv and as much as i like bob i cant really spend a monthly subscirption just to watch his videos, anything else im interested in is on youtube or online streaming sites

I’m a huge fan of bob Ross, he’s a very special part of my life. This video makes me wonder how much effort this organization is putting into the continuance of his legacy though. There are months between actual instruction videos and to be frank these short compilations seem like a cheap replacement. Of his dozens upon dozens of remarkable mountains there is so much more material to work with than 6 minutes.
