Your videos have been so helpful! I have had the The Backpack for almost a year now -- I'm not a backpack person but I adore them and ended up getting both black and beige.
I like how organized they are without having too many compartments (that stresses me out), I love the clamshell opening, the side pockets, how simple and sleek they are. I use it a work bag and have used the beige one as my personal item on two flights and a day pack while at Disneyland.
The beige one has remained clean despite all that -- I even spilled coffee all over it and put it in the washing machine with no issues.
The only downside is that I find it's a little big under the seat on planes -- it fits, but it's tight (I pack it quite full).

I purchased BÉIS's The Commuter backpack, and I like its minimal, cute, yet simple look! It's not bulky and too thick, and it has a fashionable edge to it. My outfits are mostly pastel, so the beige commuter backpack perfectly suits all my outfits, it also fits my 16" MacBook, though it's quite more costly than "The Backpack", and I might buy "The Expandable" bag in beige soon!

I'm keeping an eye out for the expandable one. I'm a smaller woman and most backpacks just overwhelm me, that looks like it might not. The Backpack has always interested me but I worry about the size and the fact it's clamshell. Sometimes I just want to sort of stack stuff from the bottom up and be able to pull things in and out. I feel like I would have to lay that one down and totally open it more like a suitcase. I usually drive so my backpack is for things like snacks, my laptop and kindle, rain gear and misc. small items that didn't make it into the suitcase.

I love your videos but I like that I get to watch this one as a casual observer and not someone in the market.
I have a luggage addiction and I'm aware of it and I curb my enthusiasm. If I absolutely must buy another piece I clean house of at least one or two others..
But as a one bagger using backpacks has both my main carryon and my personal items I have a plethora! Mostly Osprey, Patagonia Etc but I have one Tumi that resembles the first Béis. My chief complaint about it is it's heavier than all of the others and I don't like metal zippers.. I don't like something that will scratch my phone or sunny's when I slide them in and out..
I love that you're breaking down each one of those bags for those that are in the market. Sometimes you never know if it's the bag for you until that first trip so you are previewing bags that future one-baggers will probably add to their arsenal!
    Cheers!

@@ItsTheKellys honestly, in the beginning of my career I earmarked the Tiffany's catalog and I shopped for Jimmy Choos!
Then my life changed and I traveled for work and for pleasure and I discovered that carry-on is the only way to go.
Gone were the heavy pieces of LUGGage and I switched to convertible backpacks / duffels.
I was watching a video of SeaTac, Seattle's Airport this morning and noticed slowly but surely people are switching away from check-thrus. Doesn't really help when flights are being canceled nationwide and you checked your luggage into some abyss where they may or may not follow you!

I’ve used the expandable now just as much as I had the backpack, and it’s fine. Probably because the zipper only goes halfway, whereas the backpack goes all the way down, so there’s more weight on the zipper, if that makes sense.

Hi! I just started discovering beis products. I'm so in love with the designs, and before you know it had three or four items in my cart. Then I discovered your videos which were super helpful especially since I was comparing the backpacks. And then I went down the Reddit and Instagram and trust pilot rabbit hole of horrible horrible reviews one after another, never-ending!! Since you mentioned in your videos that you love their products and have purchased many different items, can you speak to how the quality is? So many of the comments people saying it broke on their first use while traveling, if it was straps or zippers or whatever. I know the zipper on your backpack broke, but did you say that was after a year? Also so many comments saying loose threads everywhere. And then there's the hordes of people saying that their items have not been shipped or they got sent the wrong item. Just generally how horrible the customer service is all around and to avoid this company at all costs. Lol. Could you please give your insight to all that stuff, I'm just curious since you seem to be a loyal customer who orders a lot! I don't know any other company that has these types of features, and such cool designs!! So it sucks to read all these negative reviews, I just wanted to order my pretty bags!! Lol

      Order them!
