This tutorial is amazing I’ve done it multiple time I like it so much. Just in case anyone is prepping for this I used 10 ramps 7 pillars 11 small crate 80 floor (I think I did a few things slightly differently but that’s the basics)
I dont even play this game and I watched this. Made me want to play the game but also I have a great sense of appreciation for this kind of creativity. This was incredibly well done and unique! 🦋
I'd say give it a shot. Palia is free-to-play, and it's chill af. No combat, and no player competition...not even for resources. It's prettier and a lot more involved than mere clicker farming games on mobile or such, but not nearly as intensive as some games can get.
I only just started playing Palia yesterday, but I've been watching a lot of building tips & house tour videos & this is BY FAR the most simple but effective staircase tutorial I've seen! Thank you for sharing

I like your awesome tips! I made my staircase like yours weeks ago, but without the triangle pieces and I thought it looked great, but yours looks more solid and I like it better. Also the tip for fitting the square piece in - who'd have thought that would go in there!

so i just tried this, the only way i could get them to fit, was to place them without the grid, from underneath the 3rd floor. (on PC) i just tried to attach it to the existing floor, until i could see a connection, then keep inching it closer and closer to the corner. it wasnt perfect, there is a small gap between the wall but its hardly noticeable!
I don’t really comment. But i recently started playing 5 days ago and i love all the decoration u can make into a supreme hoarder. And thanks to this now i can finally make that dream even more true. By becoming an attic gremlin with all like old loot and what not treasure and dusty trophy. I wish we can “ degrade the look of some items to make it look worn out
I'm doing something wrong with the cancel-place action 9:15. I left click and press the number of the item I want to place. The first time it shows that I'm still holding the item I want to place, and when I try a 2nd time, it puts the item back on the ground where it was originally sitting and I have to start over. Can't get that wooden plank where I want it!
As great as this is... I'm trying this RIGHT NOW and I can't that block down at 1:04. It's the second ramp piece. I just CAN'T get it to go. Was this build done pre update 0.181?
I love this so much!!! I just got the grand harvest house so I had to try this right away! Everything went pretty smooth but as I got the final row before the row at attaches to the wall it says “you cannot place this since the stack would be too tall” any suggestions on how to fix that or why it’s doing that? Thank you so much for any advice!! ❤
oh the basic stair layout is really nice, i was looking for a way to make mine nicer and more uniform! i might try butcher blocks for steps though, since i want a single-wide staircase that ends in a different spot than yours...there's finagling to be done, but starting with the 7 floor stack will help a ton i bet!
Very promising, makes me want to try on my Switch lite now that I bought the Grand Harvest house last night. Edit: nearly finished, had a bit of a harder time with the initial ramps , but after some struggles used the builder's wall to the left of them and only one box. I'm going to leave the last two rows of attic flooring toward the front without filling and see about using some of the pillars to make a balcony of sorts (although I will have to figure out a way to make a rail ). Thanks for the idea!
@@Nagchampa765yeah, I haven't tried it again since I originally built them. though. I may need to check if I still can since I offered to help a friend who is having trouble with it
I found out, you need to put your fps to 30 and in keybinds, Action Bar Item Use as P and Use Tool Key 2 as V. If you dont have these settings it wont work :)
@@faeylar For me it worked better if I tried to press the buttons together so the place button and whatever number the other floor is in. Rather than hitting place and then the other number one after the other. I had much more success when pressing together!

It was a lot less scary when I started actually doing it XD I did not get the placement right on the first go, but I removed two of the stairs and the box and it let me move everything to get the alignment perfectly the 2nd time. I do play on Switch and PC and I don't think I could have done this on Switch though.
I am so excited for this! Having trouble placing the floor tiles down. It randomly doesn’t want to let me start a new row and the piece can't seem to find the snap point to the previous row, or let me manually connect it. Also, can't get the pieces to connect at the end of the rows, especially when there is a beam. Like, it won't allow it to just blend into it. It treats it like the verticle rafter is in the way. I am on pc but using a controller. Also the pillar won't go through the wood floor. It stays red and says something is blocking it as well. What am I doing wrong?
First of all, amazing job!! I got all the way to the end wall and I've been trying the left click 1 trick for the last 20 mins and I cannot get it to stick... :( I am doing it fast, but not at the same time and can't get it to work. Maybe I'm not advanced enough XD

Did they patch the trick left + the number of the side bar ? I don't feel i'm a genius but at least able to do two clics. I tryied so many time I think i'm missing something...

awesome video, thank you so much ❤ my question just is, if this glitch with the advanced placing technique still works, i tried for quite a while and it didn't seem to work, can't do a faster succession of the two keys maybe someone can help me out, otherwise i'll keep trying or ignore it at some point thank you in advance ^^
Have you tried turning the grid off? I find its easier to place things like cups without the grid. If you are playing on Switch, press the ZR button to toggle on and off. I play on Switch, i am not sure how it’s done on PC. I hope this helps

Great build I did this but can’t get the corner peices even trying the left click and 1 ( one after another) so I just have a hole in the floor

so i just tried this, the only way i could get them to fit, was to place them without the grid, from underneath the 3rd floor. Were you able to do the hack with the gourmet bowls and the planks? I can’t place the planks on the bowls it just goes through them /:

Have you tried taking of the grid. I had the same problem with a lot of placing and this saved it.
I keep getting this "you can't place this. the stack would be too tall error at a certain point of filling in the floors. how do i get past this?

It won't work if you have not unlocked every plot writ. Other than that, it still works.

I need help with the last corners of the attic, do you accept invites on the game?
I've tried to make an attic but as soon as i put something up there it ends up on the outside of my plot when i leave and come back..
Are you trying to put things like crafters or cooking stations up there? It the game won't let you do that.

the reason all other tutorials say to connect it to the walls is because if you Dont you max out at 50 and you cant fill out the whole house

I don't play on Switch to know, but what little I do know about Switch, I doubt it's possible.

Does the left-click-1 key trick still works?
Yes, I just it in game just a few minutes ago.
I can't place anything on the ramps :(
There's a sweet spot with the bowls. I can only find it with grid on and then by moving the item around a bit. It can be tricky.
@@coadredalert I managed to get the bowls placed, but now I can't get the planks set on top >_< The struggle is real!
Figured it out... Had the bowls in the wrong place and needed to turn off the grid!
I really need to get on pc…
