@@WitchyTQ hmm i must be doing something wrong. it says "something is in the way" I can put a pillar with nothing on it just fine, but with the flowers on the side of the pillar like at 5:24, it doesnt let me. i start by putting the flower at the top of the pillar, then doing the quick swap method with that flower i just placed.

Somehow, I can't place any flower on the pillar once it is horizontal/flipped. I can only place flowers on top of the pillar when it's vertical. I used the same pillar and the same flower, and still nothing. It keeps saying 'this is not a valid placement location'. Can you help? I would love to make a flower wall!
ah! it's pretty simple just takes time. All you need to do is not pull the weeds in the one plot you want covered in them. You won't be able to harvest the crops you choose to plant there, so make sure you choose one's that aesthetically please you. Continue tending the other garden plots like normal and sooner or later all the weeds will be on one plot! you just leave them there and never again will a weed grow outside the plot.

I don't understand the flower pillars. I have not been able to successfully move a flower to the side of a pillar no matter how large or small the flower is. Can you show this on a switch?
it doesn't go on the side technically, it still goes on the top it just stands vertical which when the pillar is moved upright makes the flower appear on it's side. Are you trying to place it on the top/tip of the pillar? or the literal sides, because the sides won't work.
I tried this method with the larger shrubs like hydrangeas and gardenia. But I just couldn’t get them to attach. But then I tried placing seeds instead of full grown plants! I put 4 on each side edge and one in the middle. You can then water them while they are attached to the post. It makes the perfect lollipop shrub top! 😍

nope! i just tested this actually; the items your using may not be compatible together, your outfit had a hat and that's blocking it, or your trying to place it on the actual top of the bowl rather then the side of the bowl which is not facing upwards and is the new top.
it can be tricky especially on the switch, try using the seeds of the flowers you want and then water them once they are on the pillar. sometimes thats easier.

hi, me again! I can confirm it still works! It is however *very* finicky on certain surfaces with specific books. So try different book styles, and have massive patience
I couldn't figure it out either until I realized you're not putting the book on top of the bowl but using the bowl as a 'shelf'. Not sure if that'll help you or not
on the switch or pc? cause the only way to do that is by floating the pillar off an anchor or connecting it to another builders item that (when complete) if right side up.
@@WitchyTQ I place the wooden wall, I put a Industrial shelf on it and another wooden wall on the shelf. Then place the furniture I want to put flat book on top , place a gourmet dessert bawl on it and I rotate the shelf. When I try to place the book on the dessert bawl, it won't let me :(
@@ilariaprayer8812 sometimes the book is too thick to work on certain tables. try a different book or table to see if you can fiddle around enough to make it go. make sure to also turn off your decor grid for easier placement as well.

I was only able to place one flower on a pillar to do the flowers out of the trees. I kept moving the flower over the top and won’t let me do another. The Palian decorating gods must hate me. Playing on PC and with the grid off. Made me a sad panda

oh I think you mean the Spring Fever lights, you just place the string lights right up on the Flower Arch sides. no trickery at all.

Everyone always says rotate items and never explains how. I cannot turn anything except for the normal left or right.
