I've always heard them called "pop-mosh" but to the guy saying they always had a mix: it's beyond most on here that they might be a band that made songs they ACTUALLY WANTED TO MAKE. And not that they were forced into some soft submission when they gained popularity lol I always thought that was a funny criticism of them....they have had a good balance since day one... Three's a Crowd still gets me right in the heart cage

Seriously though. Why do people complain? Their write what they want and how they want it.
I don't get it either. Just look at "You Had Me At Hello" on And Their Name Was Treason, the softest song on a completely hardcore album. Same thing with "If It Means A Lot to You" on Homesick.
It's just a radio song/single, it's not supposed to be complicated. There are plenty of deeper songs on the album

I'm high AF, went through all discography of ADTR from early years until now, an lemme tell you people, they've always been this way, happy punk/posthardcore/metalcore/alt metal thing that we love, is just that they're ahead of their time. Every album gets old with class and taste

I hate when people say A Day To Remember are going soft with this album. They aren't and they have even put out acoustic songs in the past. Let them be happy and play what they want. I will inform you all that I was in this music video. It was recorded at Will's Pub in downtown Orlando last July. They played The Downfall of Us All, 2nd Sucks, and I think Right Back At It Again. They weren't soft at that show, it was actually really intense and I even saw them at Rockville in Jacksonville. They may play some slower songs sometimes, but they are not a soft band. I met up with Jeremy after the show too. Got some pictures with him. He has many years of heavy music ahead of him. Don't doubt ADTR.

First time listening to the album fully although they were my favorite band for like 2-3 years. I just heard bad things about it. And listened to paranoia when it came out and wasn't feeling it. It just sounds different than the ADTR I'm used to. Common courtesy was great I mean not as great compared to previous albums. But honestly I've seen nothing but good comments on their videos so far so I'm happy they are growing and have such a supportive fan base. I'll always be a fan regardless. Keeping doing you ADTR because obviously people love it.
