Clea Strathmann I'm a bass player and that's why I really like the sound (as in tone, not in songwriting) they're going for because it really let's every instrument "breathing-room" in the mix. Heavy guitars doesn't mean that the bass has to be an indiscernible mess somewhere in the back. The sound of all the songs so far is really...focussed, as in: no muddiness and no low end clusterfuck. Not many bands actually manage to do that.
The song is called Bullfight because bullfighting is brutal, which is what this video shows; war, blood, and death. The lyrics talk about never being understood by anyone and faking your happiness and no one ever offering to help you feel better. Jeremy is discussing depression and he says he will help you "get through the darkness" and darkness being depression. The video actually fits quite nicely because it relates to the song talking about human beings abusing each other, this song is amazing in almost every way

I mean, yes, personal wellbeing and mental health are very important, but your personal life struggles are not supposed to be compared to, or even coupled with such horrific imagery as the artist depicts, war, hate and violence in human history. Why not write the song about that? Surely ADTR fans are old enough to not still be so self-important.
Like they really can't make a bad song. And 90% of their songs have a personality of their own. ADTR is my favorite band and I will see you guys in concert some day!!!

I went to your acoustic show back in Charlotte NC and was kinda heart broken because I've waited literally over a decade to see you and didn't know it was acoustic until way later after I bought the tickets. I still loved it but you used to be just brutal and angry and would convey the emotion we all felt in such a way it made us all feel seen. I will day a fan and follower of you and all you've done but I still would have given anything to see you back then. And god, your way with an audience! It looked so fun and I just wish I didn't have to sit alone in my conserving, hard core borderline cult Christian house hold watching it all from afar. Its been my dream to see you live and I know I will someday so no hate, and thank you again for everything
Jeffrry Salgado definitely not a masterpiece musically speaking but adtr is a fun band. Musically one dimensional though. In my younger days I was more into these guys but now that I’m older I tend to listen to music with more depth.

All I can say is ADTR are working with some extremely talented music video directors and editors. Each of there last couple of video have been extremely dope.
The reason there are so many wars is because people dwell on hatred, they think when you kill the people you hate, everything will go away. Being able to love is just too damn difficult, the good path is always the hardest one. People always search for the easy way.
We are also creatures of conflict. We thrive off it. Whether it would be about hate, money, land, or pride there will always be conflict. We will always strive for peace, knowing very well it will never be obtained. The day the human race finds true peace is the day we cease to exist.

If you want to talk about breakdowns, personally I think the "Bad Vibrations" breakdown was better than this one.
