You can hear it better at a low volume and listen with only the left earpiece. It starts at the world please. Straight after the word please you can hear the word longer. When Vic sings me you can hear the word earth in the background.
I didn't believe it when I first read it either, but listen. It's there. I thought this was Vic saying this about himself at first, then I remembers that this song was written about a fan that committed suicide. Vic watched her goodbye video, and I can't say for sure, but I can guess that this is what she says in it.

After hearing that this was made for a fan who had killed herself, I went to look up the lyrics and wow..

This part of the song closely relates to a part in her goodbye video. She had said sorry to anyone who truly cared about her, but it was hard to see that they actually did. Hence the line,

Wow, this really hurt me. I'm glad to see a band who cares so much about their fans, and I wish that people didn't have to hurt the way they do.
If you listen closely to that part you can hear Vic saying things that she actually said in that video in the background. It's really sad :(

Almost 10 year later, this song still remains in my top 10 songs of all time. Not just PTV songs. The way Vic belts out "im sorry but ive made up my mind" absolutely breaks me. The salsa section is so well done and probably my favorite musical breakdown of all time. The dedication of the track to Olivia Penpraze was so nice of the members. PTV has always been a band that has poured everything into their music, but you can tell this track was so special to them. They poured their heart and soul and then some into this one and thats what makes it my favorite PTV song.

Ok for those who haven't figured out yet:
At the part where Vic sings "Please, don't take this out on me, cause you're the only thing that's keeping me alive" in the background, Vic says (not sings) "I don't know how much longer I can take on this earth. I've lost all hope in everything, and nothing seems to work. There's no hope left for me"
You can hear it better on low volume and listen to only the left earpiece. It starts at the word "Please". Straight after "Please", you can hear the word "longer". When Vic sings "me", you can hear the word "earth" in the background. Then there is a slight pause and the next line starts at “you’re” and ends on the word “only”. Then there is a pause and after the word “alive” you can hear “and nothing seems to work”. Then at around the world “down-set date” you can hear the last line.
I hope the song gives you an even deeper meaning than it already has!
Wasn't that a quote from the girl that committed suicide who was either friends with or was dating Vic before she killed herself. I though I heard that about this song so that is why it's one of my favorite ptv songs.
Slend R Man It wasn't a direct quote but it is inspired by her. The whole verse is. It was inspired by the words that she said in her goodbye video, She wasn't friends with Vic or dating him. She's a fan from Australia. Her name is Olivia Penpraze. The song Hold On Till May (well the title, not the song) was actually a direct quote from her goodbye video as well (well she said 'holding' instead of 'hold')

Then I found out about Olivia and then I started making out some words that I could hear (that were inspired by Olivia) and I basically made them all into sentences. Then I saw a post on Tumblr about this and I was like I KNEW IT!!!!!!! :D
