I was also a victim of bullying, but I can't really call it bullying since all that kid did was talk shit about me and laugh at me ONCE, after that I got so mad, so so mad that I was the one bullying him by overpowering him. It doesn't matter who your opponent is, never back down, because as much as he wants to bully people and take his anger out on them, nobody likes getting into a fight, and that guy is still a human being after all so he feels PAIN. Smack him back and trust me he'll just get off you (or at least that's my case).
This song reminds me of my hometown. The struggles of having an abusive mother, getting bullied everyday and never having anyone to turn to. Finally standing up for yourself and showing the world they were wrong. It takes time but hard work pays off eventually

I remember being in 8th grade, right about to transition into high school, I was at my grandma's house flipping through the channels when I come across Fuse (idk if its still a thing, it was a music channel) and they were doing a countdown of the best videos of the week and this was number 2, I don't know what compelled me to sit and watch the whole thing but it completely changed my entire life. I played this song for my class. The teacher specifically said to pick 1 song you find inspirational and helps you through things, so i chose this one. When the song played ,everyones like omg what is this heavy metal stuff? its too loud! you cant even hear it! whats so inspirational about this? then the teacher turned it off and moved onto the next song and said she wanted an inspirational song. some of the girls played lana del ray and miley shit which is extremely hypocritial. its so ironic how i played a song about how my school life is and they did exactly what the meaning of the song was.

Being a teen that goes to an all prep school, its hard as shit fitting in. Ever since i went to the school, ive gotten judged for listening to ADTR, and things other than shitty pop. its bullshit. During choir one day the teacher let us play music on his spotify, and i played this song. Of course, people started yelling at me to turn that "hardcore death metal bullshit" off. I got pretty pissed, so i changed it to Right Back At it Again... the instant it started and he screams for like a fraction of a fucking second, a kid pushed me away from the laptop and called my music shitty. He proceeded to play kanye fucking west.
Something similar to that happened to me, I played some Mayday Parade which in no way is heavy and a portion of the class complained it was "too heavy" so I changed it to I used to make out with medusa by bring me the horizon and said no, this heavy music. What I was playing was pop punk this is metal if you wanna call pop punk death metal when it's up beat and positive then you need to learn what genre is what.

This song made me ball my eyes out just the other day. I feel so stuck in my life and I'm trying so hard to get out and I can see the light, but the closer it gets, the harder it feels to actually make that change. I never wanted to be here in the first place, but that's what I got stuck with. I know in my heart I don't belong here because everything feels wrong and I don't know where I fit in. I was also a victim of bullying, but I can't really call it bullying since all that kid did was talk shit about me and laugh at me ONCE, after that I got so mad, so so mad that I was the one bullying him by overpowering him. It doesn't matter who your opponent is, never back down, because as much as he wants to bully people and take his anger out on them, nobody likes getting into a fight, and that guy is still a human being after all so he feels PAIN. Smack him back and trust me he'll just get off you (or at least that's my case).

Being a teen that goes to an all prep school, its hard as shit fitting in. Ever since i went to the school, ive gotten judged for listening to ADTR, and things other than shitty pop. its bullshit. During choir one day the teacher let us play music on his spotify, and i played this song. Of course, people started yelling at me to turn that "hardcore death metal bullshit" off. I got pretty pissed, so i changed it to Right Back At it Again... the instant it started and he screams for like a fraction of a fucking second, a kid pushed me away from the laptop and called my music shitty. He proceeded to play kanye fucking west.
Something similar to that happened to me, I played some Mayday Parade which in no way is heavy and a portion of the class complained it was "too heavy" so I changed it to I used to make out with medusa by bring me the horizon and said no, this heavy music. What I was playing was pop punk this is metal if you wanna call pop punk death metal when it's up beat and positive then you need to learn what genre is what.

This song made me ball my eyes out just the other day. I feel so stuck in my life and I'm trying so hard to get out and I can see the light, but the closer it gets, the harder it feels to actually make that change. I never wanted to be here in the first place, but that's what I got stuck with. I know in my heart I don't belong here because everything feels wrong and I don't know where I fit in. I've had bad hands dealt to me time and time again for the past few years and even though I have a glimpse at an opportunity to make things better, it feels like I'm set up for failure. I want more than anything to prove that I belong where I want to be.
