Q
in 2021 this lookds like a sci fi comment :D
@@The_crippled_gamer Yeah, never thought he'd be into metalcore/post-hardcore.
oh shit! I was at their concert last week bro, wonder if we saw each other!!!
I love how if a song's not heavy enough, it's labeled as "Pop-Punk"
The band is considered pop punk post hardcore and metalcore that's what I've heard
Plansiris Records Yeah I know, but this song is not Pop-Punk at all. This song is post hardcore with fast beats and a chorus with no screams. Pop-Punk is Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, ect. ADTR does have some Pop-Punk song, but this song isn't
I'd probably label this song towards Post-Hardcore
Hieu Nguyen it's labeled as rock lol
Hieu Nguyen This is definitely not post - hardcore. At the Drive-In, Fugazi, La Dispute, Adventurer, Balance and Composure, etc. A Day To Remember is a crossover of pop - punk and metalcore (called easycore or happycore with bands like ADTR, Kid Liberty, Chunk! No captain Chunk!). Your idea of pop - punk really doesn't encompass much other than the early to mid-2000's radio pop-punk. Check out Neck Deep, The Wonder Years, With the Punches, and the Story so Far for some good pop - punk. ADTR uses a lot of punk drum beats, arpeggiating guitar riffs, and catchy, upbeat choruses from pop - punk and really only strays away from the style in breakdowns and harsh vocals.
I'm 70% water is all I know
Larry ayyyyyy
severe anal trauma
Larry I'm 75% Jack Daniels
funny because so are your shit
Larry you made of wax?
I can't believe such an amazing song got made out of a beautiful line from beloved film "Night at the Museum". The world is worth it. Let yourself remember that.
All these kids are in their 20's now.
Tyler Gibson what
When you put it this way...

That's disturbing.
damn that's kinda sad and weird

My first ADTR song
You're in for a ride, these dudes are incredible! ;-)
I first found them in 2013, I've heard like all their songs already dude.
Oh, I see... I thought you had meant this was the first ADTR song you've EVER heard, the first time you've discovered them, lol.
Ahaha yeah sorry for the misunderstanding
It's my misunderstanding, but it can be misinterpreted very easily haha :P
Rest In Peace Robin Williams
I think you took a wrong turn, what you need to do is take a U-Turn and at the first stop light take a right. You'll wanna go past Memorial RD and then take the next left to Feels Blvd. cuz that's where we are
Bradley Bays
youre wrong look it up and its meaning
Vylance +Bradley Bays. I apologize. i didn't read the whole comment
its ok we can kick this
I love that movie so much :')
Anyone else still jamming to this in 2019? Still love ADTR.
Um, fuck yes!! ADTR is my #1 fav band. They got a song for EVERY mood. Never a let down with this band
I’m here with you man
This was a friend of mine favorite song ... She committed suicide I hope she's pain free
Yes meeee
DEXB0T seeing them in October
I’m 28 and I regularly listen to ADTR. They hold a special place in my psyche
I'm 26 and it's exactly the same ❤
I'm 28 too it's so nostalgic for me man, I love ADTR 🤘
Funny ill be 29 here in november these guys I just came back too forgot about ADTR reliving the Highschool days haha, so many good memories
Same bro, seeing them live for the first time this June and I’m so pumped
28 and yassssss
the song title "I'm made of wax Larry, what are you made of"? is from Night of the Museum
i literally just noticed that too as im sat watching the film now
+Arcanine xD holy shit no wonder this sounded really familiar
I just watched that moment in the movie and came here XD
lol
Arcanine xD my base at mitmask stolen
Thank you, Robin Williams!
For inspiring the title of this song and for many years of much awesomeness!
I just watched that movie again , came back to this song to see if anyone else realized late where the name of the song came from lol
Watching Night At The Museum now and it just dawned on me😂
Right! I was just watching Night at the Museum when I heard Robin Williams say that, and I was like no way! I know a song with that title. Went straight to ADTR to look
Dude how tf is it 12 years later and I’m just realizing this I just watched the movie and I was like 😮
Wait Robin Williams was in night of the museum?
Another year, and still an absolute anthem. Who's still blasting this in 2024?
Only 17 years of life and this song has been in my head at least half of em
Man, the nostalgia for older times...
band t-shirts, gym shorts probably made by a band, an assortment of vans shoes, metalcore at its finest.
Man I miss those days
I love how although the devil wears prada and a day to remembers music is completely different Mike was able to compliment the song greatly
it's called great musicianship.
+Damian Manigat holy shit, I never realized that was mike. That's awesome!
+Damian Manigat to be fair, the part he contributed to was pretty similar to Devil Wears Prada. It was a fucking breakdown. x'D
+TraceofHatred It still sounds good though
Damian Manigat I never said it didn't, just that it's not really a stretch or very surprising that it meshes.
Guys I have finally figured out where the name of this song comes from! I was watching Night At The Museum (The first one) and there was a scene where the mannequin of Ted Roosevelt was talking to Larry and he's just like 'I'm made of wax, Larry, what are you made of?" It blew my mind as soon as I heard it.
Well, yeah. But I still don't get how is that related to the song, or how the song is related to Night At The Museum.
Merciless M Yeah neither do I
He just thought it sounded cool :P
If only I could understand the lyrics, I would probably be able to find some correlation in them.
Merciless M this means that he's refrencing when a persons subtance was questioned in a fictional way, but real-life-relivant non the less. its that age old question of "what are you made of?"
Seeing them open with this at warped tour with Hranica right after TDWP was LEGENDARY. One of my favorite concert experiences
I remember seeing this exact scene at warped in orange county CA. So awesome
I was just telling my son about how I saw this and he freaked out haha
They dis it at warped 2011 Pittsburgh.
I was 17.lol
When the break down hit my 1 year old son started headbanging with me. I've never been so proud. This song and Band will forever have a special place in my heart now.
Facts my 5 yo knows downfall of us all by heart and headbangs everytime it comes on
And then everyone clapped
Mike's Cameo in this video, is still to this day, one of the BEST guest Vocalist's cameo spot in a music video! Most of the time they show them on a TV screen or not even at all, and the lead singer of the band is singing the guest spot!
Came to the comments to find love for Mike, I fucking love this video so much exactly for this reason 👏🏼
Yess 👏 👏 👏
@@kaitlinshaw6567 Im trying to find the name of the band that Mike fronts, ive brain farted it! PLEASE HELP!!! lol
@@Skwisgar which Mike are we talking about??

Best part
Them facial expressions are priceless. Love this song.
So EPIC 🤘🤘🤘
I wonder which song I'll see you comment on next lol, good taste though doc.
I guess it's - cracking huh
That dude with the broken tooth is pretty cool, he should totally be in The Devil Wears Prada he’d be a good fit
He’s a good fit for ADTR though
i just feel in love w you via comment thread.
@@minxxy9554 dead😂
😂
Probably the greatest music video ever filmed.
the man who made the quote that gave this song it's name, Robin Williams, died today... R.I.P. 1951 - 2014
I love when Mike comes out! He makes the song perfect
wow your username.... fave.
i subscribe because of the user name..
ADTR will always be one of the bands I absolutely have to come back and listen to ❤ Proudly will be a fan forever ❤
I saw them live in Portland in like 2012 I think, idk exactly but it was right around when what separates me from you came out, and he ran around on top of the crowd in a big hamster ball haha
My favorite part is still Mike going hard af in the breakdown dressed as the umpire 😂
1:23 neil getting hit in the head is me getting hit with the responsibilities of school lmao
Don't you mean life?
I'm going to take that school has taken another innocent life, as she hasn't responded. A moment of silence....

Man I loved kickball back in grade school. This was always one of my favorite songs of of Homesick but now I like it more cuz the video is hilarious.
Never stop loving this song😊
It's 2016, and I just realized that the title of the song is from night at the museum.

6 years ago, my people. time flies, so glad these great fellas are still around making great music.
Been a die hard ADTR and TDWP fan for the better part of 15 years and I was today years old when I realized that Mike Hranica was in this song. Can’t believe I never noticed this.
The part with mike is fucking amazing.
hraninca ftw

these guys just love what they do
Still rockin this. Still feelin good every time I hear it.
These guys and Rise Against were my very first concert ever. They put on one hell of a show🤟🤟
Killswitch and august burns red was my first 😁
I love how nicely the screams mixed
just saw them perform this live.... im being dragged back in this album is just a MASTERPIECE
Dude, I remember this song! I just got back into rock and metal music, so when I got around to this band, I had totally forgotten their songs, but this one I remember listening to for sure. Crazy how it just clicks that you heard a band before even though you figured you had forgotten all their songs.
You guys have been my lifeline since these days. Thank you for all of the great music, great shows...and I hope to see you live again. #inspirations #adtrtillidie
Definitely one of my favourite bands live like 100%
I swear, this band has the most random music videos ever.
11 years later still listening to this masterpiece!
I remember when I would listen to nothing but pop punk, a day to remember really expanded my music taste. It's crazy how much impact Thai band has had on me in the last few years
Fav ADTR song!
Cant help but look at that profile pic...
What about it?
Nothin, your pretty, thats all
Oh, well thank you lol. Not every day you get a nice comment, let alone a compliment, on youtube.
EllietotheJelly Its not everyday you meet someone worth complimenting on youtube
This is pure gold who would dislike
Someone who is deaf because they are butthurt that they are missing out.
Someone who doesn’t like corny bullshit metal for 14 year olds.
well, i see no dislikes anymore!
This music is so damn good man. These were the glory days right here
This song is now CERTIFIED GOLD!!!!
HELLLLLLLLLL YEAHHHHHH
I came for Jeremy's beard.
You will see many beards in your lifetime but none as fabulous as Jeremy's beard.
Almost have 30 likes thanks for those likes
Thirty likes thank you
This is the song that got me into ADTR. It hold a special place in my heart.
This will forever be the song that defined a day to remember
Easily one of my favorite music videos within the last 10 years
Listening to this for the first time at 13 years old now 25 wow ADTR legendary ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥

Still love Mikes face in this video lol
This song literally makes my day everytime i listen to it!!
I remember I was in like elementary school and I saw my sister watch this. And I thought it was the most obscure scariest song ever. Now I can fall asleep listening to this
I want one of those jerseys
I thought that immediately after they showed them in it. You should buy me one 😛
They should be on sale on there store
They remind me of the bdubs uniforms lol
Me too
Drop The Wub Me too! =) Haha.
This reminds me of Sum 41 - In Too Deep haha
tRonHD Because they actually made a sensibly amusing and funny music video to a pop/rock/punk/metalcore song? And they didn't have to use tons of scantily clad woman to entertain us?
You don't get that anymore. This almost seems like it was one of the last. Can you name any recent examples?
There was a scantily clad Tom Denny tho
Joseph Summers Besides ADTR's newer music videos like City of Ocala and Right Back At It Again... not really. I mean, there are bands like Beartooth and The Amity Affliction and Memphis May Fire that make cool music videos without all that stuff, that relate to stuff like depression and child abuse and what not, but yeah.. other than that...
Ubernet
The Amity Affliction! I love "Weigh down". Sorry, but I had to mention how its my favorite song.
Joseph Summers If you like TAA, you'd probably like Beartooth. If you've never heard them before, try listening to "In Between" or "The Lines" and go from there :)
STILL one of my favorite breakdown's of all time...
Probably one of the best music videos ever made.
It was self defense!! That kid was running right at him! lol
dudeman VII XD
dudeman VII exactly! :D
lol. south park
Best music video for sure, possibly their best song
this song never gets old ♥️
This banger has been certified gold today. How cool is that?! Congrats!! Live long ADTR!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
FUCK YEAHHHHHHHHH BOIS
OH NO!!!!! A CHOKESLAM FROM OUTTA THE RING!!!!!!!
haha, lol!... Someone ring the damn bell!
GET HIM OUTTA THERE!!! NO!!!
STOP THE DAMN MATCH HE HAS FAMILY
DAMMIT RING THE DAMN BELL THAT MAN HAS A FAMILY FOR GODS SAKE
GOOD GOD ALL MIGHTY GOOD GOD ALL MIGHTY IT KILLED HIM AS GOD AS MY WITNESS HE IS BROKEN IN HALF!!!!
This song solidified my allegiance to this band, I remember hearing Right Back At It Again, then as I looked them up, as I went through the songs, they just got better and better, hoping to see them live in the summer, Downfall Of Us All is by far their best song though
GOLD CERTIFIED !! CONGRATS ADTR!!!
#1 hardest band ive seen live and I've seen them all..
Literally the place goes crazy..
Beyond anything elese
QUE TEMAZO!
a day to remember at their absolute best. fucking brilliant album
Makes me so happy. 10 years ago bought the album on a whim and 😊 ever since
Still one of my favorites, slaps so hard.
*Watching Night at the Museum and hears Teddy Roosevelt say "I'm made of wax Larry, what are you made of?" and instantly realizes the title of this song came from that movie*
La parte donde aparecen Mike y Jeremy es simplemente épica! seguiran pasando años y nunca me cansare de este temon!
Español por fin
Yo vine por el Loquendo de Happy Tree Friends
I had this album in like 2009. This blew up out of no where!! Classic.I still love it 2017
A completely flawless song
R.I.P Robin Williams.
You'll be missed.
They just posted a link to this on twitter and it made me smile. Thanks guys.
this is a throw back, I haven't listened to this song in a couple years
The screaming match between Jeremy and Mike is so awesome
Still one of the best song ever.
2:37 A Day To Remember, taking the ice bucket challenge before it was cool
That's a Gatorade shower… been common in sports for a long time.
have you not seen coaches be drenched in cold liquids? on games or movies.
Guys. It was a joke
Yes it was. Why are people always that serious ? If you think that way, you probably think they kicked those kids' asses for real
Lmao or that they actually peed on their food in All Signs Point to Lauderdale
first adtr song, saw em live this year or 2012, still fav band to this day. never disappoints
Will always love the breakdown. And the video tops it, Mike Hranica and Jeremy shouting out of context at each other is fucking brilliant!
Omg the empire is Mike Hranica from the devil wears prada band how did i miss that until now
aj3976 Same here ahahahahah
I just realized too
right
+aj3976 he made the song 10000x better
umpire
This has been one of my favourite songs for years and I've only just realised its named after that one line from night at the museum when Larry's stuck in ahkmenrahs tomb and he asks teddy to help him and all he says is "I'm made of wax Larry, what are you made of?". I was watching it today and it just blew my mind in a new level😂
And the fact that that line was delivered by Robin Williams 🥲
Still one of the best music videos of all time !
Love those guys !!! I'm new on this band and I'm not regretting it all !!
The vocal duel @ 1:50 is SICK! Both of my favorite vocal styles. Not too hip on the college punk voice much but they work it out pretty well.
everything is better with mike :D
pasan los años y aun me encantan estas canciones
Saw these live 2 years ago I think it was. One of the best nights of my life
first concert in 2010, wont ever forget you guys. Sonar in Baltimore with August Burns Red, Enter Shikari, Silverstein and of course you fellows.... words to this day still cant explain
I saw the same show lmao but in san antonio! I remember pulling up to the lonestar pavilion and hearing Enter Shikari on the mic like "hello. we are Enter Shikari. from the planet earthhhh" lmao
