this is so perfect. i've been wanting to lift my 2020 ram 1500 just enough for 35s but i refuse to put a hockey puck on top of the front springs. definitely will be doing this some time in the near future
Try the rough country 3.5” lift. I got 35’s on 20x9 0 offset and its. MONEY ! Ride is much improved too

Owned a Silverado for 8 years and recently 8 years in my Tahoe LTZ. Traded it in for the 2019 Ram 1500 limited. Best decision I’ve ever made and I was a die hard Chevy guy.

Nice Ram...but once you see a 2019 with an actual lift your gonna want to lift yours. Mark my words...it happened to me when I bought my Ram. I had a 6 inch lift installed with 35s...luv it!

Hmmmm.... Those black rims are an amazing choice and well-color-coordinated for that metallic grey paint with chrome trims! I'm sure the owner will be happy with the results.

I have 20" chrome now with KO2 tires. I'm hopeful a factory lift and 35's wouldn't hurt the ride. It's comfortable, and that has me won as the KO2's are still slightly AT aggressive.

In my opinion, none of the new trucks are lookin anywhere as nice as GMC Sierra. I love that they kept the squarish body style. Everyone else is slimming down and making trucks look like sport cars..

I checked out a new limited 2019. It was insane. However, i did notify the dealer that they really should not have those windo key boxes. I had the truck unlock when i touched the door handle and relock. Wait a few months and those things will e driven off the lot as a tuner broke in programmed a key and left with the thing.
Truck will not start unless key is inside the cabin. I own one and found that out yesterday when I tried to start my truck and my key was on door pocket with door open.
@@steelontarget I do know that as i have tested it. The fact that the door opens is my concern. In given time, those keys will hit the market and be able to become programed with a simple tool. A truck that opens in the lot after hours is at high risk of theft. Someone will be aboe to enter the vehicle, start it or force the window down to put the key inside the cabin. The vehicle will start and be gone in less than 5 minutes.
I got my the other day its got a 3 inch body lift and 2.5 leveling kit in the front and Bilstein 5100 shocks front and rear with set at 2.5 in the back and 2.0 in front 7.5 inchs of lift plus tries has 37x13 Nitto MTS had to do bit of triming. Rides great going get it staright pipe today with headers and cam/new gears 4.58

Im in canada and have a 2019 sport and there is legit next to no mods on the market for it yet. Are you doing this in your backyard? Where are you getting a full exhaust etc and all these goodies

I did the same with my 2019 but I went with Eibach 1.8 or 1.9” front can’t remember then 1” rear lift love how it looks
Does anyone know if the Mopar 2" lift kit fits on 2019 ram 1500 2WD big horn crew cab no air bags. I am looking in to this for a little extra clearance on job sites under the truck . The kit does not say that it wont work on 2WD just not on the rebel or air ride. But when I have looked in to getting it the dealer says its not compatible but does not state why and the system does not provide details to why as well.
If I follow correctly there's a 2-2.5" lift in both the front and rear. Wouldn't that retain the factory rake that a front only level would achieve? Help me understand, thanks.
That is exactly correct. It still retains the factory rake

Ryan Barrick yes they were! They are always competitive on their prices and have so much more in stock than anyone else or they can get them very fast. I’ll actually be using another set from them on a Rubicon Wrangler build that I’ll have a new video out on early next week!

I agree with others. Looks like a Tundra. The lift doesn’t look like much. Frontend still sits low. Only inches off floor. Whats the point of having clearance behind the front wheels if there is none infront of them. Tundra is the only truck that has the same clearance from front to end.
Looks real good ... leveling kits are the way to go. I’m done with the goofy 6” lifts ... better ride and stance/balance. Love the new Rams

@rustbelt mechanic so basically, I could just find the Fox struts and use those to level my truck without any problems and avoid the cheaper spacers?
I would do 33's with a bigger offset wheel... I'm sure the 35's are a factory offset... looks nice just needs tire sticking out a little...
Nice work but i just cant get myselft to "like" the new Ram body. Interior is a different story...very nice. I still prefer the 2011-18 exteriors though. Those Ridge Grappler tires Rock. Running them on my 14 Big Horn in 295/60R20 and are excellent!!!

I own a 2014 big horn truck and it's the best truck I've owned I had a 2018 just plain ram truck but I found the big horn with only 42 thousand miles and it was the best deal I made
Very nice machine, i recently got a 2.5 lift bilstein suspension front to back i still keep it nose down now am waiting for my order on wheels 20×10 rims 35×12.5 rubber hope there is no rub.
The new design almost looks like a Tundra or a Titan tbh.

That's what I was wondering too! I guess he doesn't know since he didn't answer you. This offset thing can be confusing. Guess I'll just wait and see wheels on a truck I like and ask the owner what their wheels are.
It’s so annoying when you find a combo you like but they don’t list wheel and tire specs haha. He probably knows but hasn’t seen the comment or had time to reply.
Nice looking truck after the lift but really don't care for the rims. Probably would look better with the OEM rims paired up with those tires

Why not lift the ram with air suspension??
FORTY YEAR FITNESS have had nothing but issues with the 17’s and 18’s lifting the trucks with air suspension. We’ve had mostly issues with the rear bags twisting, overextending and in general failing. So mostly just lack of confidence in them.... who knows, the 19’s could be the ones they finally get right lol

I HAVE A 2019 RAM JUST LIKE THE ONE ON YOUR VIDEO AND A RAM 2 INCH LIFT KIT LIKE THE ONE YOU PUT ON THE TRUCK. I FEEL THE REAR OF THE TRUCK IS HIGH ENOUGH AND I JUST REALLY WANT THE TRUCK LEVELED BUT I DONT REALLY WANT TO USE A LEVELING KIT SPACER. CAN I JUST PUT THE FRONT 2 INCH LIFT KIT PARTS ON THE TRUCK AND LEAVE THE REAR FACTORY WITHOUT HURTING THE DRIVE TRAIN AND TRUCK. A CUSTOM SHOP SAID IT COULD HURT THE DRIVE TRAIN BUT I DONT SEE HOW. SO WILL IT WORK JUST PUTTING ON THE FRONT LIFT KIT WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE.

Can a lift be put on this ram with air suspension? I ask because I’m thinking of getting the air suspension because I want the smoother ride, but I also put on a 3 or 4 inch lift with 35s. Does anyone know if it can be done, and why don’t people like air suspension?
FORTY YEAR FITNESS I will check at work tomorrow to see if theres a kit able to be used on one with air suspension. People haven’t liked the air suspension lately bc honestly the standard suspension that comes on this 2” lift kit is about just as smooth and the air suspension comes with BIG headaches down the road or in cold weather if you plan on keeping it out of warranty.
Rustbelt Mechanic BDS has always made the lift for Rams with air suspension. It's a 4" lift

Those coil rear suspension is so good for off-road. Took my 2013 f150 and it was jumping and had a rough ride and my friends 2014 ram was riding the same trail smooth as butter. Is there any after market rear coil for f150?

Nice video. I would love to see a leveled Longhorn with an all terrain tire. ( If they'll let you do that). That's the one I'm planning to buy. Plan to just put a 2" level kit and a little larger all terrain if it'll fit.
I agree with the leveling kit part, this one does sit with a pretty good rake, but also with this combination you cannot go any bigger in the front without rubbing.

Jonathon lopez the kit comes with brand new upper control arms, since then I’ve never seen one pop out.
Great video! Question, the stock UCA and the UCA’s in this Mopar Kit look identical. I’ve had them side by side and 4 others Chrysler techs and can not tell a difference between the two. I know you said they’re slightly different but maybe next time you do one again you could take a closer look. Wanted to get your opinion. Thanks again!
At the time of the video I thought they were slightly different, because why would they give you the same part right?! No, they’re the same😏🤷♂️
Yeah we don’t even install them when using this kit now. A few trucks we even left off the rear parts of the kit due do the rake. We basically just use the front for as a leveling kit.
Have you found that the rear will settle at all?
I’ve had one person ask about this and no, it doesn’t settle much at all in the rear.

Can you give me the details again of where the kit and tires were purchased?
Bryan through Custom Offsets on their website. They shipped the tires and wheels all mounted and balanced. Only thing you’ll have to do is put in your factory tpms sensors into them. Even though they shipped with them, they were not able to be compatible with the 2019’s.

The absolute very slightest rub in reverse backing out of a steep driveway while at full crank. Yes we used a hyper tech speedo reprogrammer and adjusted headlights down 1” at 10 ft out
I have a 2019 Ram laramie sport crew,I liked your video so I purchased this mopar lift and had my dealer install it .the end result is on level ground my truck is 4” higher in the rear than the front measured at center of wheel from the ground to fender,stock draft is approximately 2.0-2.5”.my truck looks terrible and feels like I’m over the hood while driving it.dealer agrees it looks high in rear that contacted there rep and said it looks right nothing they can do I have $2400 invested in lift and install,any suggestion very disappointed I can take the lift spacers off rear and it will still be 2” higher than the front.no help or support from Chrysler looking to pay another dealer to take it off.dissapointed
I understand it still has a 2 in rake on it. What I am concerned about is if I put a 2 in Top hat spacer on top of the strut. Will it hurt the new UCA? Not a preload spacer but the ones you bolt onto the top of the strut. I am stuck between this lift and Readylift 3.5 in SST. The SST would be level but this one is not.

Rustbelt Mechanic oh so maybe thats why this is not recommended for the offroad package or the rebel since the strut included for those two is what achieves the 1" lift from factory. You would still have a rake and no where near a level.
Just throwing out the question. Hard to find answers. I have a 2017 rebel with air ride and would like to keep the air ride but get a little more lift. I hear people adding spacers and leveling links, but that sounds like it will create weird angles for the upper control arm. Could I put these control arms on it? Or do happen to know what is the correct way to gain some height on the 2017 rebel? Thank you
Looks nice. If you do another 2 inch lift kit, it would be nice to get a video angle from a lower perspective, like from a driver sitting in a car perspective. I have a 2019 and I cant really tell the height change with this truck compared to my stock. Probably would have been more noticeable if the camera was lower facing level or upwards instead of looking down. Reason i say this is im considering the lift, but not sold on it yet

Well done video. I'm considering this kit for my 22 RAM 1500. My goal is to level it and have the space to up size the tires slightly to a 285/65/20. It's a bit difficult to see in video whether truck still has a rake when completed. Can you comment on that? Thanks...

Why do you say you wouldn't install on an air ride equipped ram 1500. If the uca has the ball stud? I would like to level my Rebel. What would tue detriments be?

Those are probably 295 10×20. Big Difference sir. If you installed a leveling kit the wheel has to be at the most 10 inches wide or else it'll rub all over the wheel whale. The only way you'll fit 35's is if you cut and trim around the wheel whale

Sweet truck the 2019s are bad ass. Question I have a 2011 ram with a leveling kit with 17s what would be the best size of tire for this or should I move up to a 18”
Rocky Diaz depends on the lift or level kit you have or not... check out custom offsets website, they have pics and comparisons of just about every comparison imaginable.
BigBear 19 a four wheeler from many years back 33 are as big as you want to go and still be able to drive the truck on the road and don't go over 4 inch lift

Yes it’s a straight two inch lift, not level. It is a factory part and holds the factory rake for towing/hauling purposes.
Great video, added the same lift and love it but curious if I can now add a 2" Rough Country spacer in the front to make it truly leveled since there is still a rake?
There’s been a lot of questions to that and imaginably yes I’d say it could be done but have yet to see it.

I have a 2020 1500 Rebel without air suspension. Do you know if it would work on it? I actually like the stock 18 inch wheels. Could some 35s work with those factory wheels and this lift?
Question for you. So I had this lift kit installed and I just don't see the diffrence in the front. Truck still looks stock if anything it went up like an inch. Do u think something was installed incorrectly?

Actually was able to find out that Mopar added a spacer to the 2" lift kit and changed the part number. I've been waiting for the spacer now for about 3 months. The new part number comes with the spacer.r

Looks great, I just bought the 2019 ram 1500 Laramie and I’m interested in this lift. By installing the lift does it change the towing capabilities.
Does not say it changes any of the towing capabilities what so ever... and as long as you don’t have air suspension, this kit will Work perfectly

Does this also leave the factory rake in place ? I just had mine done and my rear is much higher then my front.
coppertone65 I am not 100% sure but I would believe there is still the factory rake. I’ll have to measure ours at work tomorrow if you’d like.
Yes it has a rake. Stock the truck as a 2” rake. They lifted the front and rear 2” over stock keeping the 2” rake in the rear. If you want to eliminate the rake you’ll have to level just the front 2”.

I like the content however the sound could improve a little. It sounds like your talking from a large empty room and it has many empty spots. Try putting a foam cover on the mic, moving the mic closer to your mouth or mixing the sound levels. One other thing; low energy levels. Try being more energetic or at least excited about the featured content. Other than that, EXCELLENT stuff man.
