12 track album featuring Moog DFAM, TB03, Hydra, Digitonekeys, OP1 and Machinedrum.
I dig this synth so much… It has a nice, comfortable interface with a full on, unique sound. Lot of experimentation and discoveries are just waiting to be found inside this very competent synth architecture.
Whats most interesting is that, using the Hydra is like a trip. It takes you to places. Without knowing where it will end. Its poetic, psychedelic, rewarding and deep.
I also found myself absolutely terrified hearing ‘call for help’ coming out from the Hydra Synth, at very early morning hours… That Random button… Its a first time for me, being scared of a synthesiser.
Because of this experience I had with Hydra Synth, I decided to release these tracks as a 12 track album. I really dig these type of instruments where it has a strong character and gives you unexpected results - such as this one. There is a very clear reason for such an instrument to exist - and this should be a very important thing to consider in these times where there are electronic music instruments coming out at a much higher rate…
What started as a simple jam video with Hydra Synth, ended up much bigger than that with all the inspiration coming from the unit… Its almost hard to put it into words.
This thing is a pure wet dream for sound designers.
Amazing! I really like how the textures from the Hydrasynth add to your distinctive sound.
Best demo of this synth on youtube so far. You really show off the experimental side of this synth which seems to be what it excels in the most. I get how people want to demo its raw tone, but I prefer your jams hear showing what it can sound like with some drums and bass, gives me more of idea of how I could use it. Think I'm sold!

The Hydrasynth is the first hardware synth I have been interested in in years, and that's even owning a pile of the best VST synths out there. I think this thing is going to sell massive numbers from the enthusiasm it's generated. My take listening to Glen talk about it's design and architecture is that there just few things they left out. 5 LFOs and Envelopes, 32x32 modulation matrix, what they did with the ocillators and filters? What's not to love?

In my opinion, the Hydrasynth keyboard is one of the most exciting new product announcements in several years.

Wow - gorgeous - love where things go at 2:16 then into minimal abstractions. The hydra sounds as lovely as it looks. Have not touched my MWXT in far too long. Finally getting something "fun" to sequence it with - a Digitakt. ;) Looking forward - thanks for inspirations.

Or a cheap mic stand and tripod adapter. Costs like 30$ total tops
