This was the most well done video about melee history that I've seen in a long time. Great timing too, as melee could very well gain a lot of new fans once Smash Ultimate comes out.
I still argue that Leffen's GOML 2016 run stands to this day as (IMO) the greatest single Melee tournament run of all time. 4 gods straight and taking it through winners on his first big tournament in almost a year, with some truly hype sets. I'm not even particularly a fan of Leffen, but that run was historic

MrPopo40 Because 3 weeks after this video was made Leffen won EVO 2018 for his first EVO win ever after he tweeted, “I will win EVO”. Would have made the video even better than it already is!

My favorite thing to do while watching Leffen sets is to watch his face contort into some of the strangest facial expressions iv'e ever seen.
Also I love that M2Ks reactions to his Summit win is his intro to the story

hell, imagine him beating GO1, or Hook... Gang... God... (I play bbtag, there's some dude who runs around with that hookYangGod tag, yes they have a youtube channel), or SonciFox... like... bro... with that offense and defense he displayed vs GO1, imagine the possibilities...
Matthew Maravilla He almost beat GO1 recently in top 48, their set was the most hype that whole tournament.

Malte Sandkvist their cases are perfect, but their buttons and sticks are terrible unfortunately. I'd wait on it until they improve their quality unless you just get a shell
@@tercoil Personally I like the resin MS buttons but I do agree on the sticks. It really depends on your preference though. I use a Smash 4 controller with MS buttons and a raised Y/R button because it feels more ergonomic with claw grip. I also installed trigger plugs and that might be the best upgrade imo. I still have the OEM sticks but I did add a silicone grip to the thumbstick.
Never thought of it, but Moonlight Sonata is totally Leffen's theme.

One thing I noticed -
At 10:25 when Leffen defeats PP the very first thing he does is extend his hand for the handshake, as if to say how much he enjoyed the competition and appreciated his opponent. A true sign of growth.

i just barely saw yesterday leffen going against zero in ultimate, well lets just say he is getting there, still i saw him progress more and more, i love seeing someone just progress even if they lose a lot at first thats how progress is made and i love that he didn't give up.
