Love Lumion - just wish that lights would cast more realistic shadows
Try using natural light more its the best for shadows and the only artificial light that interacts with surfaces properly are the spotlights. Feel free to checkout my channel :)
I wish smooth materials would reflect all sorts of light. including emissive objects and rectangle lights.
Hi Lumion Team, I've question, while I use the plane light/area light I set for the room in second floor but why the light leaking into the other room directly below that room? fyi I've model the floor solid become one with the wall, many thanks for considering my question
It doesn't show reflections of emissive materials, nor the rectangle lights. The only light form it gets reflected by smooth materials is the cone light. Am I missing something or is it really this limited?

It would be great if we can input color values to the lights and not just sliding around on the palette. It's not really hard to get a close color but it would be a time saver for sure.

While exporting fbx file from 3ds max to lumion some of the models get inverted or flipped how can v slove it, while v do villa designs sometimes windows or may be stairs get rotated in lumion

Just a quick question. When I import some object from maya to lumion , It always take Manipulator or Gizmo from the center of the grid. Is there any way that lumion can take gizmo from the object center no matter where it is placed ?

I don't understand why Lumion can't add the most awaiting feature of importing camera tracking data? Just due to this drawback , users are being attracted to a game engine (unreal)!

LEDs are so omnipresent these days in interior desing. It's a shame line lights are available in Lumion Pro only.

Just play around with it, it's a very easy software, and there are tons of tutorials on RUclips.

I love Lumion for big outside scenes, but the interiors just look too "videogamey".
they do but actually it can be improved a lot with the right camera effects and good assets, try using PBR materials they can really do the trick
