My family loves egg loaf, but I make it 8:8:8, (egg/oz/TBS of egg/cc/butter). I add vanilla, sweetner, maple extract, and cinnamon... and bake it in a 9x13 Pyrex Pan (mine’s blue!). We eat it w sugar free syrup and a few fresh berries and my family just loves it. Also, I sometimes cut it into strips and pan fry them in a little butter and then toss them in cinnamon “sugar,” for French toast sticks that my daughter loves.
I do mine in a muffin pan with cinamon and sweetener and then add a crumb toping made with sukrin gold, almond flower and chopped pecans. Reminds me of bread pudding and the muffin tin limits portion size.
This morning I used Mayra's (from the Low Carb Love - see below) recipe with 8 oz of cream cheese and 1 stick of melted butter. Baked it in a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. To keep the egg loaf from caving in open the oven door and let the egg loaf rest in the oven so it won't flatten out or cave in. Mayra also adds 2 TBSP of baking powder and sweetener. The reason for putting it in a loaf pan is so it can be sliced and browned in butter in a skillet. Serve with syrup and you will enjoy the dish. We had sausage on the side. Like you, I am not a "sweet for breakfast" type person but my husband is. I will make the savory version with Jimmy Dean sausage and sharp cheddar cheese. I would have never thought about adding butter and cream cheese to those eggs had you not suggested it. Thank you. Ingredients: 8 eggs ½ cup of butter melted (1 stick) 4 ounces of melted cream cheese (I used 8 oz) 2 tablespoons of baking powder 1 tablespoons of vanilla extract ¼ cup of sweetener ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon ( I used 1 tsp) Butter for frying Syrup Directions: Preheat oven to 350 Melt butter and cream cheese In a food processor or juicer add in eggs, flavoring, sweetener, baking powder, and melted butter and cream cheese Mix well Pour in prepared loaf pan with parchment (spray both pan and parchment) Baked for 20 to 25 minutes Allow to cool to touch and slice Heat skillet with butter and add cut pieces fry on both sides Eat with syrup and or whipped cream Macros: (Par Serving) 1g Net Carb 1g Total Carbs 0g Fiber 43g Fat 14g Protein 443 Calories

Myra’s recipe actually tastes like French toast not eggs. The “Low Carb Love” gal. She doesn’t like eggy either. Neither do I. It’s really good. Way less cream cheese to egg ratio and way more butter/ghee. Very very good. 😋
So I take the 1 egg, a tiny bit of cream cheese and butter and add everything but the bagel seasoning and make very thin tortillas with it. They don't taste eggy at all! Italian seasoning works very well too.
How do you make tortillas with it? Like you would make a crepe? I've been looking for a GOOD tortilla recipe that didn't have psyllium husk in it and can't find one.
Oliver egg wraps 2 oz softened cream cheese and 2 eggs mix well together. Melt butter or use non stick pan . Pour mixture a bit at a time cook 4 min or less one side then flip and cook 3-4 min flip unto a plate. Should get 4-5 wraps out of mixture. Good luck

I usually mix pecans, shredded coconut, sugar free chocolate chips, and berries (black, raspberries, or strawberries) and sometimes hemp hearts. Pour vanilla SF almond milk over it. It's good and really helped when I was giving up cereal.
If you want a warm cereal take 3/4 cup unsweetened nut milk, 3 tablespoons chia seeds, a tablespoon of sweetener ( or to taste), splash of vanilla and cinnamon is good too. Warm 5-10 minutes on stove or microwave for about 2 minutes stirring halfway.
Don't know if you read comments frm older videos but the eggy taste in some egg recipes is in the egg whites. When I make quiche, egg cream cheese keto pancakes, etc, I usually use 1-2 whole eggs and anywhere between 3-5 egg yolks. I love your videos!❤

I just love your channel. I watch it when I go to sleep.........I am working up the courage to try one of the recipes you highlight. Keep up the good work. I always chuckle when you cross your eyes because something is that good. LOL
Oh, my stars. SERIOUSLY?!?!? I'll try that very soon! So many variations use almond flour - which I am allergic to - and I've found that cashew flour is NOT an effective one-for-one swap as substitute for the other nut flours. THANKS for your suggedtion, Diann!
I’m so glad I read the comments! I have whey protein but chocolate flavor. Do you use flavor whey protein? It’s so expensive so I’m scared to use chocolate flavor lol
@@emm_bee Hi, I believe chocolate would be fine. I've had great success using the Dymatize Peanut Butter Whey Protein Isolate. I added in vanilla and cinnamon, and the PB was really NOT a dominant flavor. Just a nice, mellow "sweetish" outcome. My results were more the texture of a very eggy French Toast, unlike Diane's description of Angel Food Cake. Best of luck to you! BTW, for the best tasting protein fix EVER... blend well half a scoop of protein powder with 56 grams softened cream cheese. UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS, similar filling of a candy bar. (Beware - it is binge-worthy!) For less carbs, I prefer 42 grams cashew milk blended with one full scoop of protein powder. A mixture to be eaten with a spoon, but far more enjoyable than just mixing PBPP with ice cubes and water.
@@emm_bee I generally have on hand vanilla, chocolate and unflavored. I get my chocolate and vanilla from sam's club almost half price others stores. The unflavored hits the pocket book. Chocolate sounds good to me 😊
@@zippythemonkey9768 another non nut flour I’ve read about is zucchini flour. Shred zucchini, dehydrate it, then grind it up. Apparently it can be substituted 1:1 for coconut flour. I’m going to try it soon as I’m not overly fond of coconut flavour in everything. Some things it’s alright, but not everything. Just thought you might be a bit over coconut without the almond flour in the mix 😊
Keto sam I am’s recipe is my go to. I def add Sweetner, berries, or cinnamon. I’ve made it with pumpkin. Also you have to use parchment paper not spray.
The whole time I was talking to my phone. It needs sweetener, vanilla and sam puts cinnamon on top. He seriously just made baked scrambled eggs so of course thats what it tastes like lol. If you want it to taste like French toast it needs to have french toast flavors added to it.
Sometimes I use this egg loaf recipe to make chaffles without the cheese on the outside. I have tried it with 2 Tbsp of coconut flour and you can season with garlic and onion powder for sandwiches or with cinnamon, vanilla and sweetener of choice for breakfast waffles. This recipe has changed my life and thank you so much 😊
Soften butter and cream cheese straight from the fridge hack- boil water, pour into a cup or jug. Pour water out and use the heated vessel like a lid over the butter etc. The steam softens the butter or cheese instantly
Hi hun! I have to say, I've tried the 1st 2 (will do yours as well) a few months ago, I had to have a sweetener in it. I couldn't eat it without it lol! Yours on the other hand... LOOKS AWESOME!!! lol! Can't wait to try it! Ty for posting!
Whenever I go on a weekend trip I make egg cups! These are a game changer. Even my hubby loves them. So easy. Kind of like your savory egg loaf. You just put them in cupcake tins. So portable! No need to eat that crappy high sugar free hotel breakfast!
I used to make egg loaf a lot before I starting doing OMAD. The second recipe was more my style only I used a little almond flour. Frying it in some butter in a pan makes it more French toast like. I didn't add any sweetener since I was using sugar free syrup to top it off.
Wow, your recipe is more appealing than the others! I’ve been looking for another egg casserole recipe & I’ll be trying yours. Looks very yummy. Thank you!
Highfalutin' Low Carb -Just found your channel. Like your style/manner and will be subscribing. My fave would be the savoury version also. Looking forward to watching more recipes. Thank You from Argentina...
Thanks for your great videos. Love the Flo painting "kiss my grits" LOL I add maple flavoring, a little stevia & cinnamon to my egg loaf. I will have to try the savory one next.
My recipe. 1/3 cup coconut flour 125 grams soft butter 8 eggs separated Salt ... Blend yolk, flour, butter, salt. Whisk the whites til stiff peak then fold in. Bake it... very bread like texture, best fried in more butter or bacon fat, (then sprinkled with cinnamon, berries and cream or yogurt🤤)
I made my own version of egg loaf today. I used 8 eggs, 1/2 cup each of almond flour and monkfruit brown sugar substitute, a bit of cinnamon, and ginger. I baked it at 350 degrees for about 11 minutes.
We make a huge batch of this and bake it in a half sheet pan. Parchment paper works fantastic for this. You pull the whole thing out and cut it into squares. Then fry it in butter (overkill I know, but SO good).
Wow, it occurred to me that I haven’t had french toast in.....years? I do like french toast, so I guess if I ever feel like making it, I’ll try the second recipe. You seemed to like that one better, as a non french toast lover. Thanks for your time and energy in creating this video!
I make something similar to the one you made with your creativity of the peppers green onions cheese on the biscuit dough that we make with almond flour . I roll that out flat , Cut it to the size of my casserole dish and that goes on the bottom and then I put some cheddar cheese on top of that and put it back in the oven so the cheese melts and the eggs won’t saturate the biscuit dough. I take that out of the oven and I have to bring it to room temperature, add the egg mixture . I put A variety of things my egg mixture such as cream or cream. It’s usually cheese sometimes red cabbage because it’s so beautiful, bacon, green onions, or whatever I have in the fridge. Then I pour the mixture over the biscuit recipe and put it in the oven for 375 for about 45 minutes. I myself call that an egg bake. You can also cut that into portions and take it for lunch or just have it for breakfast or even dinner. But I think the combination of the biscuit mix and that egg bake is a great combination. You could also serve this up as an appetizer that’s been cut into bite-size Portions.
The casserole was good. I tried that one it made an excellent meal prep for a few days. I skipped on the sausage cause I had none and it still came out good. These recipes are what keep me going. In a few weeks I’ve lost 10 lbs.
Add whatever you would put on a pizza. After it’s done, drizzle sauce on your serving. 😋 just off the top of my head. Perkins used to make a pizza omelette back in the day.
I just found you and I love you already! I'm not new to keto, but like you I have always thought egg loaf sounded gross. However, on a friend's advice, I decided to try it. Boy am I glad I found you to help guide me on this journey!

Hadn’t ever tried these “egg loaf” recipes, but in case nobody else has mentioned it, what you made (a crustless quiche) is called a frittata, and I make them all the time. I’ll try adding the cream cheese next time though to see if that elevates it! Love your videos-thanks for all you do!
I just made two 'normal' breakfast cassaroles (with potatoes) for Sunday church. I LOVE your Keto breakfast cassarole recipe. I will make one for me and any other KETO people. Thanks
1st of all, love ya, 2nd thank you for the comparisons and reviews. I have done the egg loaf and i make mine in a silicone loafe pan. you can popo out and slice then fry up in a skillet to "toast" it. also i have added pecans and banana extract to make it a banana nut eggloaf then toasted, yum. 3rd and final, i absolutley love the one you did last. It has so many options, peppers, mushrooms, chopped and diced cooked tunips. I love the idea off a breakfast casserole. amazing job
Omg! You hit the nail on the head! I ALWAYS hated eggie french toast, so why would I make an egg loaf and put syrup on it! Lol I love your channel, you do such a good job and you make me laugh! Keep up the good work!
Wes, one easy way to soften your cream cheese is to dunk the *closed* package in warm water for a few minutes. :) As always, your videos make my day. XO
I love Egg Loaf and eat it often and try various ingredients as well. I know the more you add to the basic recipe, the flatter the loaf will be. I like the basic recipe with sugarfree maple syrup best. No sweetener need inside the recipe because of the syrup!
I just made this egg loaf but Cooked it in a pan instead like a pancake and it turned out so delicious! I used three eggs instead of 6 and 1/4 cup of cream cheese.
Hi Wes! Thanks for the video! Totally agree with your comment about being able to remove the blades from your blender!! I just made nut butter in my vitamix and hate hate hate that I can’t remove the stinkin blades. What a bad purchasing mistake THAT was!!
I add sweetener and vanilla extract and it's a really good sub for baked egg custard. I've also added flavoured whey protein to dry it out for a more pancake texture and I do those in mini silicone moulds. I've played around with this recipe a lot and reduced butter amount and found quark works fine too. I do use it for a quiche sub too, my hubby prefers that to the sweet ones which is odd because he's the worst kind of sweet-toothed diabetic!
Wes, so glad I found your channel, you’re so personable! I’m not a fan of egg loaf but I still enjoy your videos. Can’t wait to see you do soups and stews, hopefully this fall. Keep up the great work!

I use pumpkin pie spice, vanilla and a tiny bit of swerve. In my mind,it has the texture of cheesecake,so I trick myself into believing that it is!!😄
That is genius!!! I'm gonna have to give that a go.
Yes!!!
Ohh, I will have to try that!
Oh, honey, bless your heart, y’all are so fun to watch. I’m grateful to you for trying this stuff first, lol. 🥰
You are singing my song, honey! I don't like sweet breakfasts either, but that snausage version of yours looked yummy, I will have to try it!
I just love your channel. I watch it when I go to sleep.........I am working up the courage to try one of the recipes you highlight. Keep up the good work. I always chuckle when you cross your eyes because something is that good. LOL
I agree with Suzanne. Egg loaf does not sound appealing at all, but I just love watching you cook. You are so entertaining.
When you tapped your fork on the plate I CRACKED UP
You have a wonderful, natural talent! Keep up the great cooking vlogs. I truly appreciate your work. I'm keto 2 years+.
I love adding whey protein isolate for a 8 egg recipe is add one scoop about 30grams and boom! Its like an angel food cake texture 😊
I'm glad Thrive Market is back! It means you aren't limited in what recipes you can try.
Who needs a comedy show when we have Highfalutin' Low Carb?. Love you.
This recipe has changed my life and thank you so much 😊
Thank you so much! Your savory version seems to ring my bell, too. YUM!!!
Soften butter and cream cheese straight from the fridge hack- boil water, pour into a cup or jug. Pour water out and use the heated vessel like a lid over the butter etc. The steam softens the butter or cheese instantly
Great tip!
I wish thrive market would let you view their catalog prior to signing up for anything
So glad to see you again. I've missed you. Anxious to try this.
I like that the savory one came out flat and firm because it looks like you could just eat it like a sandwich.
Hi hun! I have to say, I've tried the 1st 2 (will do yours as well) a few months ago, I had to have a sweetener in it. I couldn't eat it without it lol! Yours on the other hand... LOOKS AWESOME!!! lol! Can't wait to try it! Ty for posting!
You are adorable...”taste like scrambled eggs baked in a pan” lol!!!🤣🤣🤣
I know you’d be my friend if you lived in Los Angeles... 😆
Whenever I go on a weekend trip I make egg cups! These are a game changer. Even my hubby loves them. So easy. Kind of like your savory egg loaf. You just put them in cupcake tins. So portable! No need to eat that crappy high sugar free hotel breakfast!
Just found your channel and already love it. I will definitely try these egg loaf delights!!
Awesome ; Thank you for doing this because it helps alot those who doubt Keto !!
I love your channel. It always makes me smile, and your judgement has been spot on IMHO. I just love it! ❤️❤️
Yours right off the bat, looks the best! That’s the one I’m making!
I used to make egg loaf a lot before I starting doing OMAD. The second recipe was more my style only I used a little almond flour. Frying it in some butter in a pan makes it more French toast like. I didn't add any sweetener since I was using sugar free syrup to top it off.
Thanks, Wes! Love your southern poster behind you on the kitchen wall! Fortunately, I like eggy breads, so thank you for the recipes.
I made your version just now! It’s a winner!!!! Love it!
Wow, your recipe is more appealing than the others! I’ve been looking for another egg casserole recipe & I’ll be trying yours. Looks very yummy. Thank you!
Ahhh! I'm a bit surprised you're making this Wes! Excited to watch! 💛
Yours definitely looks the best. Nice work!
Skip the 1st 2 and dig into the 3rd one.Looks so good.
Highfalutin' Low Carb -Just found your channel. Like your style/manner and will be subscribing. My fave would be the savoury version also. Looking forward to watching more recipes. Thank You from Argentina...
Thanks for your great videos. Love the Flo painting "kiss my grits" LOL
I add maple flavoring, a little stevia & cinnamon to my egg loaf.
I will have to try the savory one next.
Watching from Australia, love your videos you7very informative & entertaining mate
My recipe.
1/3 cup coconut flour
125 grams soft butter
8 eggs separated
Salt
... Blend yolk, flour, butter, salt.
Whisk the whites til stiff peak then fold in.
Bake it... very bread like texture, best fried in more butter or bacon fat, (then sprinkled with cinnamon, berries and cream or yogurt🤤)
Love your Purple Pan! Will have to make your savory egg bread! Looks like a homerun!
You had me at, “... it helps if you plug it in”
Love your channel, love your style.... carb one dude!
😎
That does sound good!
I just found you and I love you already! I'm not new to keto, but like you I have always thought egg loaf sounded gross. However, on a friend's advice, I decided to try it. Boy am I glad I found you to help guide me on this journey!
Awesome, I want to try the original egg loaf and your recipe:)!
Your recipe did look to be the most delectable. Thank you sir.
OH MY GOSH!!! one of the ads was the Perfect Keto PB cookies!! Wes, you're a STAR!! Congrats on the commercial & another brilliant video! Love your own spin on this! Yum!
I love your channel!!! Always great recipes while being entertaining! ❤
Nice tutorial. I'd probably make the 3rd recipe sans hot sauce but set it on the table for those who do indulge. Thanks for all 3 ! ALL THE BEST - ALL THE TIME .. RMH
“Good Lawwrd”! 😂 you tickle me, thanks for being you and keeping it real❤️
Love your purple 9x13 pan I got pie pans that color
You're just wonderful to watch. And you made me miss my relatives from the south. Great video, looking to try this tomorrow. ❤ from Minnesota!
I love the idea off a breakfast casserole. amazing job
Your savory recipe is the bomb!
Omg! You hit the nail on the head! I ALWAYS hated eggie french toast, so why would I make an egg loaf and put syrup on it! Lol
I love your channel, you do such a good job and you make me laugh! Keep up the good work!
Keto Rewind sent me here. Great review! I definitely try your savory version!
Thanks for stopping by! Welcome! ❤️🙂
Wes, one easy way to soften your cream cheese is to dunk the *closed* package in warm water for a few minutes. :) As always, your videos make my day. XO
Good tip! Thanks, Margi!
Great tip!!! THANKS!!
I love Egg Loaf and eat it often and try various ingredients as well. I know the more you add to the basic recipe, the flatter the loaf will be. I like the basic recipe with sugarfree maple syrup best. No sweetener need inside the recipe because of the syrup!
Love egg loaf. Thanks you for these. I make keto.sam.i.am allllll the time. I just change and use 1 stick of butter, vanilla and cinnamon. TY
I found you by coincidence I was looking for the egg diet I loved your video thanks for the explanation🤩
Love the purple glass pan.... I have one too! I also have a 8x8 green one!
You are so ADORABLE Wesley! "We are gonna blend the devil out of this". I just died! 😂
Excited to watch this video!! Coffee in hand and ready to watch your facial expressions! ❤️
I love watching you try these recipes for us! I do make an egg loaf recipe that I found on Low Carb Love...it is absolutely amazing! I would recommend trying it too!
Try adding some fresh pressed garlic to your casserole! Garlic makes eggs even more Devine!
Appreciate your recipes, especially when you tell us the amount of ingredients. Not into finding other peoples videos for the list and amount of ingredients. But I am sure they appreciate your reference. Thanks, Mark
Love watching your videos. And trying them.
Love the 'Flo' artwork behind you! Also love your sassiness!
