I’m looking forward to seeing your Wish List for this sale! I’ve found that over the last few years, the quality of the offerings has declined, instead featuring more synthetic fiber and plastic items, but I did order a cashmere dress and a wool hat I like. At 12:01 this morning!
Wow I was just throwing a wish out there when I said I hoped you'd cover the NSale! I absolutely love your picks! I've already hit my wish list pretty hard but...
I love Nordstrom but a word of advice to southern Hemisphere viewers, particularly Australian, is that international shipping costs and time of shipping (international) from Nordstrom can be horrendous. I learned this the hard way - just a thing to consider so you can make informed purchases.
Nice selection. I really like the Rag&Bone sweater, #12, but it's already sold out. Nordstrom has been my #1 department store for decades. The merchandise selection and service is excellent. Greetings from Los Angeles
Luv the Ralph Lauren pieces!!!! Cashmere sweater is pretty but too much for me. Great video 😊! Thanks 👍!! So many sales going on now in many stores great time to shop!!!
I like the cool brown tone of the leather jacket #4. Warm cognac browns have dominated for so long, but I’m a cool coloring type. I do wear the cognac brown/tan, but have plenty of that already, including a leather short coat. I don’t really want another moto jacket, though, I’m more in a the mood for a blazer-style one without all that hardware. It has to be genuine leather for me.
Just a quick question Leonie, what are your thoughts on a long trench coat - as in just above ankle length for someone who is just at the top end of petite, at 5’4” Do you think it’s too long? Can it work to elongate the silhouette like a maxi dress? My thought was that it could work with maxi dresses on rainy or cooler summer days. Or do you think a knee length would be better, even worn with maxi dresses? Just curious what thoughts you, as fashion insider would have on that. Appreciate any input. I realise it’s hard not seeing a picture. I’m fairly slim, about 120 lbs
I’m the same height and I think these very long coats are great, they give a nice, long line. They also give more rain protection. You didn’t ask me, but I wanted to add my two cents🙂
@@kimberlyperrotis8962 thank you, I appreciate the input. I’ve been torn. I’ve heard two sides. It does cover up a summer maxi dress well in case of a downpour. I would still love to hear Leonie’s take on it. Tall ladies look great in a long trench coat and they have been in fashion. But I’ve not found anything regarding petites
Personally I prefer the longer line as it can help to elongate you and it creates a more seamless outfit. I’m not a fan of the shorter lengths cutting an outfit off at the knees. I’d def opt for a longer line coat 👍🏼
@@Thestyleinsider. thank you Leonie. I already own the coat. It is perfect for this season as I’m wearing it mostly over maxi dresses which I live in over summer. I originally wanted a knee length, thinking it would best fit my petite frame, However, they all felt tightish and restrictive under the arms and not so comfortable. This was looser fit, and being oversized I sized down. It’s so comfy, my only concern was that all you see is coat.
I picked up kinda a chambray/denim button front at Ross. Almost didn't get it bc I had other stuff. It's amazing how useful that shirt has been. Kinda like a light denim jacket. Or just a shirt!👍
@@Thestyleinsider. : Here's the brief history of Nordstrom in Canada: Opened a few stores in Canada (registered as Nordstrom Canada) beginning in 2014. Beginning at that time, Nordstrom USA ended deliveries to Canada. One could then only order from Nordstrom Canada, which had a much smaller selection of brands, items and styles compared to Nordstrom USA. March 2023, Nordstrom Canada filed for bankruptcy protection and closed all stores by June 2023. (Nordstrom USA was not affected by the bankruptcy) I don't know whether it was intentional or an oversight, but they never re-instituted delivery from Nordstrom USA to Canada after they filed for bankruptcy in Canada.
I'm sorry but I found most of these pieces deeply unflattering and nothing special. I am sticking to wearing what I already have, I've become much more aware about sustainability and not buying too much stuff. I love French style and I often ask myself, "Would a chic French woman wear this?" before I buy a new item of clothing. I don't think we'll see most of these items worn by Parisian ladies, especially the (faux) leather pieces.

Fair enough too 👍🏼
#9 Puffer. Nice length. And those diagonal front zip pockets give nice shape!

Hey Leonie!!
Thank you for this video. Can you tell me if Nordstrom ship to Australia and are those prices in American dollars???
Thank you 😊
Yes I’m sure they ship to Aus and yes the prices are in US $ but you can change them in the top right corner of their website 👍🏼

Great vid love the coat is my fave 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
#14 I like that crop cable cardigan!
Love the camel coat from Ralph Lauren!
That Reiss cardi is sold out, if that helps lol. And the New Balance
🤦🏻♀️
Shift, kiss❤❤❤
😊
Nice that Nordstrom delivers across the globe to Australia or New Zealand (guessing from your accent) but does not deliver next door to Canada.
Really? That seems absolutely crazy 🤦🏻♀️
