If you want a moisturizer and face serum that in addition gives a glow, go for littellextra riceberry. Personally, I’ve found it useful for everyday use. The texture of the moisturizer is lightweight and non-sticky, with black rice, vitamin C, and skin barrier supporting ceramides. The vitamin c face serum is also lightweight and non-greasy, and helped reduce spots on my face. I haven't tried their sunscreen UV protection cream so far, but will try it in the near future. Picked this up for my sister, she's a fan too. Thank you!
mine face appears flawless after using rice berry face cleanser, vitamin c serum, along with ceramides moisturizer and sunscreen. it's truly my go to and couldn't live without them
An affordable dupe for ordinary cleanser is the Foxtale duet cleanser as it also gently removes makeup without drying the skin. And the NMF moisturiser from deconstruct too is a great dupe for Ordinary moisturiser. And these costs half the price.

Glad you're learning more about skincare and want to share information responsibly. A couple of things I would like to point out though is that The Ordinary's website states the suspension is only for PM use and I don't think we should be disregarding that. It's because the 23 per cent concentration of L Ascorbic acid is pretty high and Vit C does not remain stable in sunlight. I had a pretty scary experience recently when a patch of my skin turned extremely sensitive in the sun and applying this suspension on top led to an allergic reaction. I'd rather go with Niacinamide in the daytime and this suspension in particular at night. Otherwise, any other form or concentration of Vit C or any other antioxidant is good for AM use under sunscreen. Also, hyaluronic acid pairs extremely well with Vit C and works in compatibility. Using a serum like Hyaluronic before heavier suspensions like the one from Ordinary creates a protective layer on the skin. I am not sure the Vit C suspension in its purest form is good for everyone. I mix it with a lightweight moisturiser.

Heyy Mals! hey malz 💖 loved the video. you said you get confused about applying spf w makeup. you just put makeup on top of your sunscreen. it's not so complicated, i hope this helps
For someone who is new to skin care... you have amazingly flawless and plump skin! I hope starting on new skin care ingredients or actives doesn't spoil your natural skin glow! Whatever you were doing before all this, apparently has worked great for you. One wonders if you need to start something new bcoz of pressure from everyone regarding not having a skin care regime.
Few suggestions: 1.Toner doesn't do anything for skin, also no harm in use if you not using any alcohol one. 2.DO NOT skip retinol, its a must after 25 for all skin concerns, introduce it slowly to your skin. 3.Start watching the percentage of all actives or ingrediants. Like if you love some ingrediants, check how much percentage you use on daily basis. Excessive use of any ingrediants can lead to damage in future. 4.Switch to chemical exfoliants and choose according your skin need, introduce it gradually to your skin, abandon all physical exfoliants as they can lead to breakouts in future. -A note from skincare junkie, its been three years i have fallen in love with skin care.💜 You will thank me later..🥰
Toner can do wonders for your skin just do know what type of it you're using additionally toner makes sure and kills any bacteria or dirt on your face even after cleansing. And retinol is not a must after 25 because it doesn't suit everybody and it might wonders for you like at 25 and for somebody else in late 20s and might not suit as well.
Toner balances the ph of your skin. Depends on the toner. I have used lots of Korean ones and some Indian ones, the Korean ones are formulated to restore your skins ph after washing and have a huge impact. If someone is using actives it's best to use a toner then the active then the moisturizer. Putting actives on bare cleansed skin can be a pretty bad idea, you have to wait atleast 10 minutes after washing if you're going to do this. Also retinol isn't for everyone, especially as she is pregnant she can't use it. And not everyone should use it, it's a thing to be very careful with because sunscreen needs to be worn when using and lots of people don't follow that. Just my own opinion.
i’m a newbie to skin care, i’ve been watching a ton of videos for exactly this, but i’ve never found one video as beautiful and accurate as this. you’re such a fun person and you’ve literally made my life easier. i don’t watch long videos but your video, i just couldn’t skip. i subscribed instantly!
And when you get used to vitamin c, you can start using vitamin c in place of hyaluraunic acid? Like we’ll replace hyaluraunic with vitamin c right in our skin care?
Good video but was expecting it to be more informative in terms of which serum to layer and when. If we use Vit c n HA together then which serum goes 1st and if Niaccinamide is used, when does it comes in picture in Serum list etc.. Maybe another video❤
Also Ceramides can be added in our skincare routine as they act as skin barrier to prevent the loss of moisture from skin. It makes the skin hydrated, supple and plump. It protects the skin from harmful bacteria and environment toxins.
What's with all the negative comments? She clearly mentioned it every time that this routine WORKS FOR HER so let her be na. I ain't her big fan either but please give regards where it's due.
thank you so much malvika di. i'm only 16 and your makeup routines are actually such that I can follow and would not make me age. love you since I was 13 xoxo
Was soo Happy to see this video! Bought both SPFs. Used the Fae beauty one and was very disappointed to note that there is fragrance on it! For a ‘sun’ product that is such a no-no. I will not be using it on my face.
Include Ceramide in your skincare routine as it helps to keep the skin hydrated and improves skin elasticity. It soothes, replenish and protects the skin.
Really liked the product recommendations. I am definitely gonna try ordinary's squalane cleanser! The only thing I would suggest is it's better to use Vitamin C at night because as far as I know Vit C does react under sun.

Heyyy i loved loved loved what you are doing but just a tip for the Niacinamide 10% and 1% zinc the formulation is reallyy strong for Niacinamide you need 2%-5% for your skin which dermatologists prescribe.. but i get it even i was new once so i did the same mistakes and learnt… all the best for future
You skipped one of the important step of skincare.. which is your lips.. if not in your AM, it must be included in your PM routine cause your lips needs all the hydration, plump and colour you hold.. Although we have lipsticks but still your natural color is the best so it needs the care you can provide... Besides that loved your very simple skin care routine and how you did not emphasized on including many actives unless until needed..❤️❤️

Folks, at first - She is using products and process according to what her skin needs. You don't have to use the same products as she is using, just go with whichever products works on you. But before purchasing any products, please do some research on ingredients used in products. AVOID HARSH CHEMICALS. Not all products are to be massaged, some are to be damped. Research on that as well. Always treat these kind of videos as REFERENCE to make it easy for you to understand, you don't have to copy the same shown in videos. Not everyone skin is same. Always know about your skin and skin type. Second point- Please keep SPF at the end, beauty oil might take time to absorb, easily attracts dust particles on you face. Last point- Would be best if we get to know more about Indian products at best affordable price. Ordinary might be best, but there are many products yet to launch in India which are more better than ordinary but we can't keep buying expensive non indian products in Indian market rates after an inflation. Let's encourage our indian products too, so that foreigners gets attracted to our products just like how we get attracted to foreign products. 😅 Pro tip- None of your products will work if there is no physical workouts & balanced diet. Such as Face yoga, zumba, power yoga, etc.. Malvika, thanks for all your efforts in this video. Much appreciated. Thanks for letting us know the process and clean beauty 😇
Hi Malvika, skincare is very very subjective as everyone's skin is different based on their genes etc. Recommend you to try going to a qualified dermatologist and they will introduce you to brands and stuff you will never about through the internet. i have seen a vast difference in my skin after following their 2/3 step routine. they also offer some great skin treatments like picosure etc that also help a lot i go to ageless clinic in bandra fro their skin treatments also some of my fav products: avene is a great SPF brand atoderm for moisturiser also if anyone has dry skin or v dry skin - recommend you to ditch anything foaming and use a body oil in the shower/ then layer this on with a thick moisturiser - this has been a game changer for me as now i dont have any drying soap on my body! hope this helps!!!
When do you use the clinique moisture surge then? Can you please tell? I love the product and i want to fit that in my skincare on a daily basis. So where does that fit in?

And that is just perfect skincare routine. Simple, basic and not at all complicated ❤️
Maybe another video❤
suggestion: double cleanse at night. use a cleansing balm/oil before your cleanser at night to break down spf/makeup.
Also Ceramides can be added in our skincare routine as they act as skin barrier to prevent the loss of moisture from skin. It makes the skin hydrated, supple and plump. It protects the skin from harmful bacteria and environment toxins.
A perfect getaway from doing diwali saaf safai…💜
Hahahahahaha y’all crack me up ❤
Wow definitely it is useful. Using vitamin c based skin products helps alot in locking the moisture of skin.
Start your retinol journey in 20's 25's. Because prevention is better than curing 💫
Best sunscreen for oily skin?? Preferably a matte one! Also affordable 🥹
Was soo Happy to see this video! Bought both SPFs. Used the Fae beauty one and was very disappointed to note that there is fragrance on it! For a ‘sun’ product that is such a no-no. I will not be using it on my face.
Requesting for a cheaper alternative for the cleanser! Ordinary one is quite pricey for a cleanser
Cetaphil
Include Ceramide in your skincare routine as it helps to keep the skin hydrated and improves skin elasticity. It soothes, replenish and protects the skin.
What's ceramide?
@@hannah_308 it's a skin care active
Really liked the product recommendations. I am definitely gonna try ordinary's squalane cleanser! The only thing I would suggest is it's better to use Vitamin C at night because as far as I know Vit C does react under sun.
It is so evident that Mals became so kind and mature over the time. We can just understand the way she talks. Lots of love 💕😘
Hi guys, Malvika confirmed from her official id. She is not her. Its a scam
And The Klairs supple toner, it's the best toner I've ever used . Klairs is such a beautiful brand I must say.
You are my favorite RUclipsr, and I am glad I discovered your channel. I have been following you for the past year, and your makeup is always flawless. I adore you ❤❤❤❤
Thank you!! hi!!

@@ThatGirlInVogue Malvika dhee. I am facing a big issue. There's fraud is going on by your name. Someone is replying as you won prize and asked to telegram them so they will send us set of makeup and all. I telegramed them and paid 3000 rs now they are asking even more money as shipping charge. Please help
@@ThatGirlInVogue what is the lipstick shade you are using in the video ??? Looks gorgeous on you.
I don't like bashing on anyone's channel, but mals...... The routine starts after 6+ mins in the video.... My god..... And the constant looking at side screen.... You are a pro.. you know how you are looking...
this is so well explained....very much better than all other skin care videos i have watched
All I have to say is thank you, Malvika!
I have been overwhelmed with all the products and absolutely terrified to introduce them to my skin. I have a better understanding now and I am sure I will come back time and again to this video to learn better. You glow girl! ❤
Finally an Indian influencer talks about fragrance free skincare..!!!!😁🫶amazing to watch.
Love non sponsored videos. True and honest ❤
I also have been following Dr Dray on RUclips since 2018 and now I am 34years old.I have been using retinol since last 4 years after watching Dr Dray .Retinol ,coq10 and Niacinamide have been game changer.
Also, if you are just starting out, a 23% vitamin C will irritate your skin; advisable to start with 10% -- Suganda has a beautiful vitamin C, even The Minimalist.
This is so helpful! I just ordered the products to start my skincare routine
I loved the way you have explained each and every step and product with the relevance. Thank you so much for putting this out.
I have the same skin type as yours and wanted to know if its okay to use estee lauders advance night night repair serum for my PM routine??
Use ceramide based products. It helps to keep your skin soft and moisturized throughout the day.
Hi!!!
I love the lilac finger ring !!
Can you tell me where you picked it up?
I have dry skin, I have been a huge fan of Face Shop Rice Water Bright Facewash and it does not strip my face ff, but I get what you are saying. I have recently switched to The Skin Story ka Blueberry and Shea Butter wala facewash, I love it. it has very mild fragrance, its paraben chemical toxin free etc. so pretty gentle and nice on face. I wanted a slightly affordable option so I switched. . Also, have you tried neutrogena hydro boost? its nice.
Off lately i am using this Skin Story ka hi Gel Mask. Its super good. its overnight treatment kind of thing. soothes the skin and works best for my dry skin. you may wanna try this one.
Best video ever for beginners like me ❤ I have been constantly watch all the skin care tutorials but alway confused what to buy?? You literally gave me answers to all questions big love
You know these comments in comments section that goes like if you were my teacher I would have been a topper in my school , this goes to you Malvika you are yourself a beginner yet teaching all of your virtual students or subscribers in the best possible way, been a silent admirer till now but couldn’t resist myself from commenting this time , you are doing great trust me love you
This is exactly my skincare with exact skincare products. I can vouch for Ordinary products. They are amazing for delicate skin ❤
Vit 23% is perfect and a smaller drop top of snail mucin essense goes for long way and I Top with HA. It is doing wonder🌺
Kindly make a video off affordable skin care products in a bombay like weather
Pro tip- None of your products will work if there is no physical workouts & balanced diet. Such as Face yoga, zumba, power yoga, etc..
Malvika, thanks for all your efforts in this video. Much appreciated. Thanks for letting us know the process and clean beauty 😇
Would appreciate more if you could suggest some reasonable alternatives.
Hi Malvika, skincare is very very subjective as everyone's skin is different based on their genes etc. Recommend you to try going to a qualified dermatologist and they will introduce you to brands and stuff you will never about through the internet. i have seen a vast difference in my skin after following their 2/3 step routine. they also offer some great skin treatments like picosure etc that also help a lot
i go to ageless clinic in bandra fro their skin treatments
also some of my fav products: avene is a great SPF brand
atoderm for moisturiser
also if anyone has dry skin or v dry skin - recommend you to ditch anything foaming and use a body oil in the shower/ then layer this on with a thick moisturiser - this has been a game changer for me as now i dont have any drying soap on my body! hope this helps!!!
For dry face skin ! What moisturizer should be best
@@deviboutiquez3586 So always look at the ingredient list. The brand and packagaing does not matter. Check out Vanita Rattan's channel
When do you use the clinique moisture surge then? Can you please tell? I love the product and i want to fit that in my skincare on a daily basis. So where does that fit in?

Hi Mals, very educating video.. just wanted to ask can we use the am routine and then do makeup? or we should avoid
Hi Malvika. You mentioned in the video that you are going to put up a video on your favourite sunscreens that you have recently tested for dry skin. Is it possible for you to give us deadline by when exactly you would be able to do it. I purchased Earth Rhythm and its good but may not work work in high summers in mumbai since there is too much humid. But I need to know other options as well before I go ahead and buy this one for my dry skin.
Please do reply. Will wait.
Love Love Love the routine. It’s so easy to understand the products the way you have explained them.
Wanted to make a request.

You need to watch dr dray too, she’s amazing, she’s also a board certified Dermat like dr Sam Ellis, imho better to listen to dr dray than hyram
Dr dray is very honest
Dry skin people looking for affordable cleaner : Himalaya aloe vera face wash is so good .. I am using it since over a year now , my skin has improved so much.

Which niacinamide serum is good for beginner... The ordinary one or minimalist one... Plz answer
Babe just saw your insta story . Chill . They are going to say something or the other. You have done great 👍. We love you Malz. ♥️
Watching u for the very first time.. as I was looking for the routine for dry skin.. my skin is dry too... surly will try the products u mentioned... including ceramide too... that's really act as barrier to Outer dirt and oil...and lock the moisture within the skin.
Have you tried the azelaic acid the ordinary? Whats the best time to introduce that in am or pm routine
You should really try the Klairs vitamin C, it gives wonders to my skin. And I'm literally addicted to that serum.
Nice video 😍👌 please make a detailed video on affordable and Korean sunscreens which won't peel, leave a white cast or make us sweaty. Appropriate for MUMBAI weather.
