Back in 1979, I went to peru and Bolivia on a church group, and the people were unbelievably super friendly everywhere. People offered food a place to stay at the time I used to work as a diesel mechanic apprentice, and I was making good money, so the people were very happy when I gave them money

Most of the time it is rash or negligent driving that cause accidents on these narrow roads. The roads may be difficult to navigate but they are not dangerous until someone gets overconfident or drowsy or downright careless!

It seems some people even enjoy dangerous roads. When all these roads get widened, paved and secured with safety fences one day, some will be hugely disappointed and will have to go somewhere else to get some adrenaline, like to Mars or something.
