They are lifelines of humanity. But also pitfalled with danger, sometimes even death. Do you dare to travel on the world's most deadly roads? Welcome 2023! Happy New Year Everyone! We’re ringing it in with a wild ride through Pakistan, Bangladesh and Madagascar.🚌
There's practically no driving rules in Pakistan or Bangladesh .This Doc is on rural roads but it is in their crowded cities where driving is truly "deadly roads"
I think Bangladesh roads were the deadliest.. The bus and truck drivers overtake even when there's a vehicle coming from the other lane, that's just madness.
I agree. There are just so many risky maneuvers being performed all the time. It seems like an accident is inevitable. The mountainous Pakistani roads are the sketchiest from a technical standpoint but it appears the drivers drive more cautiously and, more importantly, check the condition of their rigs frequently.
The only place that you have shown in this video that I wouldn't drive is Bangladesh, not because of its road conditions, which are good, but because of the ill-discipline of its drivers - how do they get to be licensed? That to my mind is simply a matter of the state becoming more involved in managing the situation through effective laws and visible policing. Anyway, a really interesting video and Pakistan remains a rugged, but very beautiful country that I would love to visit one day... :-)
Though this Video here about Bangladesh is ~ 10 years ago. It's deadliest condition never improved a bit. In a statics of 2021 it shows total 5371 Road Accidents happened which cost 6284 deaths and 7468 injured. Among the dead 803 were students.
you should mention the date of footages you are filming. It will make more enjoyable and no confusion will arise. 10/12 years road can not be in new documentary.
Babusar Pass road via Naran and Kaghan is no doubt very scenic and beautiful. The road is usually kept maintained but its not a place to visit in the rainy season.
Give huge applause for these driver who risks their life for feeding their family. Also I really respect those journalist who also risks their life to go dangerous place like this to film this.
Im here in Bangladesh and traffic is so bad, really bad,,so many rickshaw and Tuktuk causing the traffic jam😀good thing they have open the Dhaka metro rail to ease the traffic,,salute.
These vehicles look to be completely stock, and they get the job done, while over in the "states" our rigs are loaded to the max every off-road piece of equipment ever made and can't get through a simple rain/snowstorm. Amazing!
Too many pavement princesses in the US! These guys are absolutely hammering their stock suspensions yet the vehicles persevere. I do a load of offroading in the mountain west with my modest base model 98 4Runner (2.7L 4x4, 5-speed). It's remarkable where you can go with a stock 4x4 if you're patient and have the driving skills. You really only need a modded 4x4 if you intend to do highly technical routes with massive camber/high-clearance sections that stock clearance can't overcome. I use onX Offroad for offroad conditions and they utilize a 1-10 scale for technicality. A capable stock 4x4 with a good driver can eek out a 7. That covers the vast majority of offroading out here.
I think what Pakistan need is an excellent engineering unit capable of making such roads. Take for example India. India has the same terrain, but BRO has done wonders here in making new roads in last decade or so.
Nice and excellent informative documentary. Keep it up 👏. We should pay attention to increase roads safeties for all. Roads take us to our destinations. From Pakistan 🇵🇰 Shagufta Fahmid
75 euros a month in Bangladesh is not considered middle class. And I’m sure long haul bus drivers make more than 75 a month.. but everything else in very accurate.. when I first moved to the states I was amazed by the fact how people keep on their lane here. Tbh I didn’t even know we had lanes in Bangladesh. I had to Google some pictures of Bangladeshi roads to confirm. I think if all the drivers been properly trained before handing out the licence it would be a lot better. But again whole DMV is corrupted. If you bribe the brokers you can get your drivers licence very fast and easy but if you wanna do it proper way, it is a hassle and takes way more time than it should be.. I hope the issue will be solved soon.. :)

i've been on a cliff road with about 100 Metre fall down, it was enough for me to get out of the car and walk the rest of the way on foot. I can't even imagine what this is like in Pakistan, insane
Every time I see road like this, I will always see corruptions in the government! 🤧If your governments are not corrupt, surely you will have a SUPER DOOPER, NICE, BEAUTIFUL, TOP OF THE CLASS roads!
I sincerely hope that the Bangladeshi gov't start implementing stricter road ordinances, asap, or start constructing two separate single one way highways. Life is sacred!
I don’t think if you want to know the meaning of chaos you should go to Bangladesh as the reporter says; instead it’s the proper meaning of ignorance as the doctor explains. WOW!
I watched another documentary and they said this part of the world looks like it was carved by the God's using machete. Those mountain roads are bat shite crazy! They are both a lifeline and can be a killer at the same time.
I blame the governments of those countries, because if they put birth rate limits this types of traffic jams and accidents will reduce. such as 2 children per family especially in big or crowded cities.
