I was lucky to be brought here by a friend from Nether Langwith in summer 2006. We went through Winnats Pass and into Blue Johns Cavern, then up to Mam Tor and along the pathway to Hope. It was a brilliant experience. I've enjoyed great memories from seeing your wonderful impressions of your day there!
Love love love this little video with you including your partner. Would be great to see more like this with her more involved and maybe talk about the year one of both of you are using on the way.
We use to do the Castleton Circular Regularly Mountain Biking so obviously no Footpaths. But we used to Ride down Cavedale below Pevril Castle. Think they stopped Mountain bikers using Cavedale some years ago. But i loved it edge of pants stuff .
Nice circular, I normally stay in Edale, start up Hollins Cross, walk east along the ridge, down, through Hope & Castleton, up Winnats Pass and across to Windy Knoll, up Mam Tor then back to Hollins Cross, great little loop but I avoid the great ridge on weekends, way too many people, I prefer northern edge of Kinder, very few people up there.
@@BackpackingUK thanks for that I’d probably use it for snacking compass and map 😂 Have you given any thought to doing a video on your camera and gadget setups. I think that be interesting too see what you use as the likes of this bag, the magic selfie stick and cameras etc 😁
Great video and a good change from a std review vid, next one maybe slower 360's and ambient music, area history if relevant could be a bonus, a lesson for the kids / adults. The recent video of the group camp and wanderings in Brecon were also good, potentially a time to make reviews is when you are on a camp.
Nice one Andy, looks like you had a great day! Certainly good weather for it. Seen some great inversions, sunrises and sunsets from around there. Good to see the Insta360 getting a run out. What software do you use to edit if you don’t mind me asking? Any advice on music for YT videos? Do you use royalty free or a subscription service. Cheers in advance.
Absolutely stunning work my friend, this looks and feels so relaxing and somehow alluring! Bravo

We had a great time thanks, sore heads in the morning though 😩 🍻 🍷
Great video, looks like a nice hike!
Lovely area some great views ... Really busy when we went on a saturday
I went on a Bank Holiday once, that was crazy!
Great video Andy, really cool to see the missus getting out with you. Mine said hiking at weekends doesnt work for her, as she would spill her wine :)

No problem, I stated a youtube account and trying to make videos but long way to go it's great to share the mountains 😀
Well done mate.🏴
Cheers 👍
Really like this channel
Nice on mate 😊
Good to see you out and about again! 😊 what’s the little chest carry case thingy you have attached to bag? Looks a convenient little but if kit
It's the OMM Chest Pod. Great for vloggers or those that like to take lots of snacks!

Most pure hiking videos get very little views so I now keep them short and sweet!
Great walk. Do you have the GPX file at all?
A link is in the description 👍
Really enjoyed the video - what a wonderful area to hike.
How do you edit your camera holder/selfie stick out if the video?
It’s a special camera that uses very clever software to create an invisible selfie stick. It’s called Insta360.

I just use my iPhone with iMovie and Adobe Rush 👍
Has anyone got GPX for the route at all? Thank you

Could follow your Mrs up the hill all day. 😅😋
