Hi I'm from derbyshire and live in Cornwall now but paralysed by a stroke thaks for your v vids along with Kyle and hayley I am reminded of many memories
A couple of years ago I was getting into hiking and watched a similar video to this, taking down notes of so many places to visit… it felt like a badge of honour to watch your video and realise I am 8/8 visited! Love the Peak District, and this is a solid list - nicely put together 👍
Awesome! The Peak District is my favourite place for hiking, just so many amazing routes to choose from with so many things to see. My personal favourites were Kinder Scout, Thor's Cave and Lathkill Dale. Thankyou for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying! The videos I made from the Pembrokeshire area are some of the first videos I made. In fact, I'm in Pembrokeshire right now making some new and updated videos all over the Pembrokshire Coast!
Thanks! We've been exploring the Peak district so much over the past couple of years and there are still so many things we haven't seen yet, so you'll definitely enjoy your visit there!
Nice videos and walks. The high point of Kinder Scout is quite a way from Kinder Downfall as it is not at thr 633m Trig pillar but within the Peaty area much further inland. You would need a Gps to get to the true summit!
@@AlexTravels1 We have a week planned already taking in Edinburgh and oban. Now going to extend it for another week to do the nc500. Will start the nc500 at the beginning of August and that will lead us to Edinburgh to see a bit of the Fring Festival. So just started looking at where we want to go and where we will be staying on the new nc500 bit (which is the biggest headache as I always fear, since we are only in a place one day and moving on, what happens if we get to the booked hotal/airbnb/bnb and they turn round and say there's a problem and they have no rooms). Just noticed your videos are usually are all about the places you visit and not really about accommodation, driving problems, planning of the trips etc. Maybe worth saying bits like that in your videos.

A brilliant video, and I totally agree with your choices!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. It was tough to narrow down the many great walks in the Peak District
Found you're channel the other day after looking for Pembrokeshire tips. Love the content. Keep on keeping on.

@@AlexTravels1 oh I believe you! For someone who wants to fully explore a location, it can take months sometimes!

Really interesting to learn, thanks for the info!! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching
Lathkill Dale is really nice. The mill at Litton is for sale at the moment.
Dovedale in summer it's wow..the same ladybower area....next in list it's for me the monsail trail!
The Monsal Trail is a personal highlight of mine. I've hiked along it in the sun and in the snow, both times equally beautiful!
Great video but just a tip, banford edgeain’t in Castleton, it’s nearer to hathersedge than the others. Thanks again Matt
Will be checking out your videos for any that contain the Scottish highland, especially if they are for the NC500. Always enjoy your laid back videos
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I'm hoping to get to Scotland as soon as I can, I can't wait to explore the isle of Skye and do the NC500!

As the song says:
We both grew up in Eyam
And strange as it may seem
Neither of us thought we'd ever leave
Sounds interesting, I definitely need to find this song!
Magpie mine is mentioned in a Stephen Booth crime-story...
Brilliant video, very helpful. Are there any places you can park overnight in the peaks?
Loads
Ha! I dare you to visit dove dale on a bank holiday. The influx of scum and the filth they leave behind defy description.
