I concur, I live in Yorkshire and I don't think I've missed a single gem , including the Yorkshire Moors. I take my caravan down to the Cotswolds EVERY year ( otherwise I get withdrawal symptoms )
Thankyou for a beautiful video of the Yorkshire Dales. I was born and grew up in Nelson, just over the border in Lancashire. I spent many days hiking, cycling and camping in the Dales. For the past 55 years I've lived in western Canada but the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and, of course, the Lake District has always remained with me. I was last there in 2013 and I hope to return soon, but regrettably, my age may prevent it. But the memories will remain.
Thank you for sharing your memories Gil. It's a beautiful part kf the world, I do hope you are able to visit again. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙂
Great video. My children grew up going to all these places and so many more in the Dales and North Yorkshire. Along with the Durham Dales and Northumberland cost/National Park are for me the jewel in England's countryside.
La verdad que sí, mucha suerte. Soy del norte de Argentina y creo que sólo en sueños llegaré a estar en Yorkshire 😢. Es tan bello!!! Suerte en tu nueva residencia 😊
We are visiting the Yorkshire Dales for the first time tomorrow and I would just like to thank you for taking the time to make these utube videos. Have found your videos much more useful for planning our trip than some of the official sites. Thanks for taking the time to leave this comment, it was a lovely one to read first thing on a Monday morning 😊 I hope you have a great trip to the Yorkshire Dales!
You are too, too modest... Your video making skills are impressive... You've caught all sorts of lovely sights (landscapes, wildflowers, birds, fish, a dragonfly, a resting bat (?), etc.), and you revealed a marvelous selection of places to visit. Very well done! Good of you to show off God's Country for the people who don't live nearby.
Such beautiful countryside - streams, waterfalls, meadows, villages! You do so well presenting the region with lots of information and recommendations. Well done, my friends 👍. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day 😀.
Fantastic video guys. My mother was born in Castle Bolton and lived in Hawes as a child. Since being a young child myself, I have travelled to Wensleydale at least once a year. You've expertly captured the magic of the Yorkshire Dales!
Thanks for your lovely comment! I bet that was a great part of the Dales to grow up in. We actually saw an exhibition on at the Dales museum in Hawes while we were there about schools in the upper dales from the 30s onwards and what it was like. There were some really interesting stories! Let us know if you have any favourite spots in Wensleydale that you would recommend visiting 🙂
