    This is why you MUST read the manual. the little switch on the back is for adjusting the charging rate and can control on the app, leaving X-boost on all the time will fry all your sensitive electronics, X-boost is only used for air compressor, heat guns, hair dryers, and heaters.

    Can you put two different solar panels or solar panel setups, one in each Port? Say have the 220 watt solar panel and 240 watt solar panels, since you can't put them all in series plug the 220 into one port and the two 400 watt panels together and then into the other port or can you only have one solar setup going in at one time

    Have you by chance tested any generator that would be big enough to run a small rv that you would recommend

    • @OffGridAdventure
      @OffGridAdventure  Год назад

      The main issue is HVAC and water heaters. Those burn a lot of juice. Otherwise, this can power a small RV for about a day without solar power, and indefinitely with solar. I would either get a larger system, or add the expansion batteries to give yourself some reserve power on the shady days.

    I wish they used less power while they were on with nothing/low load connected.
    I have a cellular trail camera set up in my storage unit. I wanted the camera to last forever, so I added a ecoflow delta max. The only problem, the delta max cant stay on forever or it will just drain its own power sitting there. So, I had to buy 2 SwitchBots. One to turn on the Delta and one to turn on DC output. So every day, the SwitchBots turn it on for 4 hours, recharging the trailcam and then they turn it off. Its been going in there since April. The trailcam is different than most trailcams as it has an internal battery AND AA batteries. I don't think its started using its AA batteries yet, it thinks the delta is solar power and is topping off the internal battery every day.
    Forgot to mention, the SwitchBots seem to be doing very well on power also.

    Amazon has it with a solar panel 220 watt... rated to 1000 watt panels? So if i get 2 panels of 400 watt.... i would be at 1020 watts running all 3.... so that is a no go for 3? Just run the 2 400 watt for 800 and be happy with it?

    • @OffGridAdventure

    • @larryc1616
      @larryc1616 Год назад +1

      Battery capacity yes, but delta 2 max also has a higher wattage output(2400w vs 1800w) and can take 2x the solar input wattage(1000w vs 500w)
