Filling a battery is like filling a glass with soda. Fill it up fast to 80% the slow down to top off. Same goes for discharging. The slower you pull from it the more there will be left. That's why recalibration are so important. I do a monthly recalibration on my products. Makes a huge difference!
@Speed00007 for the delta series, I charge to 100% then discharge till the inverter shuts off. Then recharge to 100% as slow as I can or just solar. Then I unplug everything and shut down overnight. You'll know your recalibrating when it takes forever to get from 99% to 100%. I've had it take 2 hours at 400 watts to hit 100% from 99%. It says like 99.49% 2 hours at 400 watts is about 800wh out of calibration lol

I used the DC5521 ports for powering my RGB lightstrip stuck around the interior roof of my camper conversion as thats currently my main light source in there, I've also used it for a mini dehumidifier unit from amazon, and also for a Mobile router from TP Link, all came with AC adapters that converted to DC 12v so having the ports right there made it way easier and more efficient!
The DC5521 powers my home keyboard, a duracell battery charger and a 12v torch. More efficient to use rather than using the ac/dc adapters that come with each device...
I keep looking at the Ecoflow Wave 2 with that stubby cable with the 90 degree angled plugs they made for it... I think it would be amazing to have a similar cable with those little 90-degree plugs on it for use with this add-on battery
I appreciate the change in battery between the Delta Max and the New Delta Max 2. But other than the lithium iron battery and more cycles, I will stick with my original Delta Max until it dumps. By than if the world is still around, ecoflow will probably have a even better unit. We shall see in 2 years.
I completely understand your point about sticking with your original Delta Max until it's no longer functional. It's always good to make the most out of your current equipment. And who knows, in two years, there might be even better options available. Speaking of which, have you checked out the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series? We have used the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!
I use the DC cable to power a TP-Link 4G router. The supplied power supply had a 9v output, however it's been running on the 12v output from the Delta for months without issues.
So it's $1899 and it stores about $0.50 of electricity for argument's sake and it can be charged 3000 times to 80% which is a value of only $1500. Even if it can be charged more times it's difficult to see the value in this if you don't need it for emergencies or outdoor use. For small home it costs more than the amount it can store. When these drop in price then they will be good.
I personally use the dc barrel a lot for powering wifi routers and ledstrips on the go. They practically work on any standard 12v barrel plug device, which saves you to carry all the power bricks for those things when you want to be mobile.

Cycles are indeed very important because a NCM battery like in the Delta Max (1600 or 2000) only has 800 cycles after which it can only charge up to 80% of maximum. 800 cycles of fairly constant use is about 2.2 - 3 years of use. Whereas the Delta Max 2 with its LFP battery has 3000+ cycles. 3000+ cycles of fairly constant use is about 8.2 - 10 years of use. Why would anyone consider buying a NCM based power station with that limited lifespan? Limited because of it's number of cycles. Now if you're never going to consider the older NCM batteries and you'll only focus on LFP batteries THEN cycles becomes less important. BUT please don't get everyone else to quit considering cycles because then they'll buying NCM by accident and end up stuck with it.

The smart generator has way too many well documented issues on starting and not worth the cost until they fix the problems. You’re better off buying an inverter generator for half the cost of the smart generator.
Most portable power station manufacturers charge EXTRA (over-priced) for cables. It's an ASSHOLE move! One manufacturer could gain considerable good will over their competitors by including cables and NOT being a dick!
Buying an Eco Flow Delta was a BIG mistake! I have so many problems with mine and can't get the company to answer me. It dumps it's power at the most inopportune times. This time it was at 61%, suddenly bleeped then was instantly at 0%. This meant no fans or lights that night, 2 nights ago. If it gets cold, it dumps power or turns off, same if it thunders or is hot outside, all the times you especially need it to work. Also, half the usb ports rusted up and quit working, and connector for solar panel is coming apart. Never an Eco Flow again!
If you have any electronic, you're on the grid. You're on "the list." By having a cell phone, computer, tv, wifi, or anything like that, they have over 3,000 data points on each person at a bare minimum. I'm not worried about them reaffirming everything they already know about me. I am more concerned about helping as many people as possible, and TikTok is actually the least censored platform currently out there that is in the masses.
I use the 5521 for lighting under the cabinets, security and surveillance cameras , to include by bi-pap machines. LED lights instead of usb lights and so on.
Shelley131, which Bi-PAP machine do you have that is compatible with the 5521? Perhaps Phillips Dream Machine? If so, I'm interested in that particular cable configuration. Tks. RSVP.
I use those barrel connectors to charge other power stations for example, I see you have the new cellpowa joint, you can go 5521 to 5521 and 100 watt usb c and dual charge it. At least I think the new one can dual charge. I know the old one can. I will adapt them to whatever power station I need. Typically 8mm or 5525 if its a 5521 to 5521. I love those cables. Ive purchased a couple. I have also tried them on other DC electronics such as a small samsung tv that uses a barrel connector. I wish more devices used 5521.
This is literally the only reason I keep looking at Bluetti even though I've seen all the firmware update problems that they have been having. I live in a major city. If I wanted to be secretive about my back up capabilities yet still keep my devices (like my fridge) up and running, I can take Bluetti's expansion batteries to a park, top them off, and bring them back home without interupting my apartment's energy needs. With the ecoflow products, I will always have to disconnect everything for the 3 or 4 hours I'll need to recharge. That is not ideal. I still want ecoflow more than bluetti, but I have to recognize the functionality of the design being superior than ecoflow.
MPPT and outlets on the extra battery? At that point why not just buy two units instead of one + battery? An expansion battery is to expand the capacity of the main unit. Putting the USB output panel on the expansion battery would be cool and wouldn’t add much cost while adding functionality, but more than that you might as well just get another generator.
Other You Tube reviewers have mentioned the red tool symbol was for Beta users or reviewers who received these units before the official EF launch date.
Is the ecoflow delta 2 max extra battery (LFP) compatibile with the original delta max (Li-Ion) ? Because delta 2 (LFP) is compatible with the delta max extra battery (Li-Ion). Also is the delta 2 extra battery (LFP) compatibile with the original delta max (Li-Ion)? Thx

Warranty?
@Clo411 I think it is up, but I need to double check. It has dumped power 2 days in a row in our 100 degree heat, leaving me with no fans.
@@grannyanniesfarm4972 yeah check on that warranty,I had 1 issue with one of my units and they promptly took care of the situation
Tik Tok? Why would you post on the CCP app?
If you have any electronic, you're on the grid. You're on "the list." By having a cell phone, computer, tv, wifi, or anything like that, they have over 3,000 data points on each person at a bare minimum. I'm not worried about them reaffirming everything they already know about me. I am more concerned about helping as many people as possible, and TikTok is actually the least censored platform currently out there that is in the masses.
tiktok is one of few non-zionist controlled platforms. So of course they are gunning for it.
The small 521 power cord is also used in astronomy for powering telescopes and accessories.
I use the 5521 for lighting under the cabinets, security and surveillance cameras , to include by bi-pap machines. LED lights instead of usb lights and so on.
Thanks for sharing.
Could they not at least put a mppt and dc outports on the extra battery!! grid down or being reliant on the main unit is 50 percent worthless IMO!
Charging a battery is like humans filling a stadium. The fuller the stadium, the harder it is to get to your seat.
5521 Port is great for my Reolink Security Camera
My port is used for a little Sangean radio that operates either AC or DC. Nice to carry such a small adapter.
Other You Tube reviewers have mentioned the red tool symbol was for Beta users or reviewers who received these units before the official EF launch date.
I can confirm that for you, Kevin
This symbol just popped up on my unit, seems to be working fine. Not sure what it means though.
i like the idea but an EMP could destroy the electronic parts inside the ecoflow tho, making them useless
It will any generator with electronic parts. Have to faraday it.
in Amps what is different on xt60 vs st60i ?
I belive XT60 is rated to 8a and XT60i is rated to 13a. I'd have to double check but that's what I remember.
Thx
Yes it is. They will not charge and discharge at the exact same rate though.
5521 I use direct for my Boze mini speakers dc to dc
I do not like that long cable that connects the battery to the station. there has to be a better idea that takes less space?
Hello Minute man, does it have a 240volt outlet?
This unit should of had 1400 watts of solar. 700 each mppt. 6kwh 1000 watts is not enough. That 6 plus hours of perfect conditions. It will never happen. 🤷🏽♂️
Agreed.
Yep
@@minutemanprep Is titian a good system for 120 over ecoflow pro?
@@zfontain1975 Yes the Titan is a good option. I have had 2 Titans for 3 years without issues. My Delta Pros from EcoFlow I've had for a little more than one year and have been back to the company twice for repair. poweredportablesolar.com/shop/
Nice info but bro, can you stay on track😅
