You cannot do that now even with a Boxster or Cayman, as those can get very very expensive. Think a Boxster Spyder. Insane. There is not really an inexpensive option.
Not anymore no, and with the Boxster and Cayman going full EV, there won't even be an entry level Porsche sports car that anyone wants. I don't know what Porsche is doing lately.
Proud owner of a Karmann Ghia here, to me the next best thing after a 356 or 912. Nice video! 👍
Ghia's are awesome! Thanks for sharing and watching mate!
KGs are awesome!
And today you’ll be hard pressed to find a 912 for $45k. At least not one that doesn’t need 10’s of thousands of dollars of work
This is true, in my opinion, with the ridiculous prices new Porsche's are demanding, your better is much better spent on a classic.
The old ‘lead weights’ in a 911 error in this. The 911 front bumper weights were cast iron.
I heard the weights were made of adamantium, but who knows
Air cool life 😎
All day errryday

Aaaand a 912 sold for $90,000 on BaT
Crazy how much they sell for now
With 45 grand I would buy a good real second hand Porsche!
