this theme just screams pain to me. not only does it make a good example of porky with an almightiness to it, there are parts throughout that just remind you he is a tortured soul- a kid that never grew up, corrupted by many influences in his life, developed a twisted perception of people, and like people in real life who often come to the same fork in the road- pursued the role of a controller rather than a pacifier of the world. parts of this almost give a sense of “he could have been saved.” i get a lot of emotion from this theme. i love this series so much and porky is one of my favorite characters ♡ i grew up with trauma and his character and the masked man inspire me to be more like lucas and ness.. it’s a difficult world right now but being brave is something i have to embrace- we can’t let the darkness, the giygas force of greed in this world corrupt our view of the world and each other! ♡ i also love that part when it starts with the organ, that is such a fitting instrument for him, as brief as it is, it is powerful. and including the absolutely safe capsule bit- the musicians of this series understand the full spectrum of emotions. even the pigmask themes create such a sense of pride in them, you lose yourself in it a little.
