this song really shows how Lucas has grown after the time skip. From a former "crybaby" after his mother's death, to a determined yet still quite depressed kid. This song is Basically Mom's hometown, without the love theme, Hinawa's theme.
i like to imagine lucas has just been in such a trance over those years, doing nothing but of course eating, visiting Hinawa's grave, and sleeping, that he doesn't even realize that there's been a railway in construction until it's already been made like just after the timeskip he hears some people talking about the railway and then he just goes "What? A railway in our village?!" in that Chalmers "Aurora borealis?!" tone of voice
The start of this theme is the same as “Mom’s Hometown,” but the Love Theme is no longer present. Considering the context of the game, this makes sense.
To repost a comment from the popular upload: The Love Theme is gone from Tazmily, but it isn't totally overtaken yet. This could be considered a decent middleground between them having minimal defenses against the forest fire and the like, and the overtaking of tech in the later part.
No saben el tiempo que llevo buscando esta cancion, por un momento llegue a pensar que solo era un efecto mandarina con la cancion de Mom's hometown y deje de buscarla :p

I like interpreting this as Lucas probably getting over the death of Hinawa and enjoying life like before, just like she would have wanted
This is where the game started getting depressing
as if it wasn't already before
Nope
sees the happiest and purest family broken and destroyed in the worst way possible: 🤷
capitalism: 😨
Start? It GOT depressing a while ago!

@@mitekidGood morning, Mitekid!
its like the town is not the same after "progress"
What is the context of the game?
This slaps harder than the plot twist of chapter 1
😢
