Hey Marc, The tire is likely ok if you rode while it was deflating. I did the same thing on the flat in this video. Just inspect it closely to make sure when you take out the old tube. Also have a tried slime yet? It works wonders on most punctures and may save you completely from changing anything. Here's a few tips: 1. Make sure the tubes are fully inflated. Obviously if the tire starts a ride at lower psi then it can more easily catch a flat. 2. Make sure you seat the tube exactly in the correct spot when you replace it. It can't be folded or stretched, and the valve stem is lined up perfectly in the hole on the split rim piece. 3. Also note that on some scooters the actual hole that you slide the valve stem through can be sharp on the inside edge. You may want to file it down so it's smooth if you are getting punctures in that area of the tube near the valve stem. Those are also harder to fix with slime. 4. hey @Scoota Gang , i,m back with another problem ... bcs im just so lucky, i managed to get a flat once again (6th flat in 8 months) this time it's my front tyre, i changed it easily. but for some fked up reason i can't get the brake claw attached. the claw is grinding against the wheel, and i have no clue what i am doing wrong. there is 1 washer that i can't get back in there (the side of where to motor cable is are 2 washers apparently) but with both washers in, it's impossible to get the wheel back in. but even if i could, i don't see how that would change the distance from my brake disc and the wheel, bcs that's where the brake claw keeps griding. also idk why, but ur front wheel disc is on the other side than mine. ur motor cable is on the same side as ur kick stand. being 100% sure that it's different for me, i still tried to reverse my wheel so that the disc brake is on the other side. but 1st of all its physically impossible to do so, and 2end my tyre is then in the opposite direction, which shouldnt be possible because i didnt remove the tyre... ive spent hours and hours observing what i'm doing wrong i am litterally losing my shit. i need to fix this before i have to go to work tomorow. could u make a short video on how to dismantle the front wheel and put it back together? should u have the time for it
You have to put both washers back exactly how it was before. It’s hard to get it back but if you loosen the cross joints up above (the red part) it will give the fork more room to seperate and you can fit it with the correct washers. Does that make sense?
@@ScootaGang makes alot of sense yes, not sure which bolts i need to loosen though. could u dm on fb perhaps with pictures to point out what you mean exactly? also im still confused how every picture i find of vsett 11+, the wheel's direction is very diff from mine. all of them have the disc brake on the right hand side.
@@ScootaGang i bought it from a shop about an hour driving, but i aint got a car xd, dont want to ask a friend for something as small as this. imma bring it to a bicycle shop where i know a guy that might be able to get the washer in. it's the only thing that i cant get back in, allthough idk how that is supposed to increase the distance between the disc brake and the wheel itself. because thats the problem, the freaking break claw keeps grinding the wheel still didnt fix it, ive spent hours and hours alrdy for something that's supposed to be as simple as 1+1 equals 2. align the holes of both pieces, and put the screws in, dunno where shit goes wrong
@@medino9058 I'm sure they should be able to help you fix it remotely is what I mean. They should have some customer service that can walk you through it. It still sounds like you need to get the washers back how they were so the brake lines up. If you change anything with the washers it will never align properly. Like I said before, you can loosen the red cross joints that hold the dual stem together and that will give you a couple extra mms to get it back together.

bcs im just so lucky, i managed to get a flat once again (6th flat in 8 months)
this time it's my front tyre, i changed it easily.
but for some fked up reason i can't get the brake claw attached.
the claw is grinding against the wheel, and i have no clue what i am doing wrong.
there is 1 washer that i can't get back in there (the side of where to motor cable is are 2 washers apparently)
but with both washers in, it's impossible to get the wheel back in.
but even if i could, i don't see how that would change the distance from my brake disc and the wheel, bcs that's where the brake claw keeps griding.
also idk why, but ur front wheel disc is on the other side than mine.
ur motor cable is on the same side as ur kick stand.
being 100% sure that it's different for me, i still tried to reverse my wheel so that the disc brake is on the other side.
but 1st of all its physically impossible to do so, and 2end my tyre is then in the opposite direction, which shouldnt be possible because i didnt remove the tyre...
ive spent hours and hours observing what i'm doing wrong i am litterally losing my shit.
i need to fix this before i have to go to work tomorow.
could u make a short video on how to dismantle the front wheel and put it back together? should u have the time for it
You have to put both washers back exactly how it was before.
@@medino9058 Yeah send me a message. Who did you buy it from? You should be able to get help from them too
@@ScootaGang i bought it from a shop about an hour driving, but i aint got a car xd, dont want to ask a friend for something as small as this. imma bring it to a bicycle shop where i know a guy that might be able to get the washer in.
it's the only thing that i cant get back in, allthough idk how that is supposed to increase the distance between the disc brake and the wheel itself. because thats the problem, the freaking break claw keeps grinding the wheel still didnt fix it, ive spent hours and hours alrdy for something that's supposed to be as simple as 1+1 equals 2.
align the holes of both pieces, and put the screws in, dunno where shit goes wrong
I thought the vsett 11+ was tubeless. I see I was wrong?
No it's tubed! Which makes tire changes significantly easier!
Short wires and tire spoons suck
You almost can do it without removing the rotor since them screws are fragile
I recommend replacing the rotor screws the first time you do this.
@@ScootaGang didn't have a heat gun and did a double patch since it sprayed slime at me🤣🤣
@@ScootaGang I'll do it when I replace tube and tires
