Its never bad weather, just inappropriate gear!!!
The Columbia tent is a palace...nice and roomy. I use a Gazelle T3, one of those easy pop up tents takes about 30 to 40 seconds to set up and same to collapse. A Mr. Buddy Heater will warm up your tent and also decrease the amount of condensation and most likely eliminate it. I just turn it on to warm up the tent then turn it off. Even with a carbon monoxide detector I don't trust leaving it on all night. Then turn it on in the morning just long enough to warm up the tent interior. Another hack I use is bring along a chamois and wipe down the interior of your tent if you stay more than one night anywhere. That campground you're at is beautiful.

i remember drinking surge soda around 97' 98' when i was in elementary school. brings back memories of me sneaking sips of soda on the bus while listening to alternative rock on the radio. i always loved getting out of school and talking with my friends on the bus drinking soda and listening to the radio. Hot tip to getting the taters cooked...
Add a bit of water to the foil packet to create some steam and they'll come out nice and soft.

Handy hint...always, always! make sure your zip ends up at the top of the door way not the bottom, this stops snakes, and other crawlies, from coming in to say hello 😁🇦🇺🇦🇺

I've made that exact hobo dinner in the fire so many times chasing water during kayak season! We'd always cook after floating all day, and usually we would cook those about an hour then add cheese when it comes off because of that would melt pretty easy considering how hot it still was

Maybe so , you had brought your own wood, we only ever had what was laying around, so getting a really hot fire wasn't easy.

You have a great show, can't stop watching. I'm disabled no longer go camping. This is just an idea you can mount a 4 ft electric baseboard heating element , that should be more than enough heat for winter camping. Good luck and God bless

That tent is a nice one...that thing is huge and yeah you can cook just about any thing using that method such as pasta and rice and all types of meats and you don't have dirty pots to deal with lol

Do you find that the width of that sleeping bag is to wide? Seems like it would always be wanting to fall off the edge of the bed.
It is big but its nice because I can roll over inside of it so I don't mind the size

While camping in cold weather I would only use a hot tent with a nice titanium fire box.....
