I guess that 55th ranked schedule vs a 5th ranked schedule doesn't work out because the ACC is a poverty conference. That and a blind man might be a better QB than what FSU has right now.
This is exactly why SEC Shorts is a fan favorite. First, you have to be a knowledgeable fan to even understand most of them. The allusions embedded in each episode are subtle and aimed at someone who is more than a casual fan. I was expecting a re-make of the battle for the flags from a couple years ago, but this was something else entirely new. Robert Clay’s character was serious in today’s video. Yes, there was plenty of satire, but Robert’s character showed the seriousness of the committee’s betrayal of the regular season. That is no joking matter. SEC Shorts fans are savvy enough to see “the message” of each episode. Today’s message was darker. Kudos to SEC Shorts and their fans.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily fromNarodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
@@iamthad1546 On that note, I want to take a moment to discuss iamthad1546’s commentary and analyze some of his finer points. Though (as a preamble if you will) it is crucial that we first say with conviction that iamthad1546 wasn’t necessarily mocking daryllot5468’s comment, as it was a moment where he seized an opportunity with utmost precision to engage in no small amount of deeply insightful Meta-humor. As such, I would be prudent to dissect iamthad5458’s “Hot take” as follows: 1) Rick and Morty is indeed humorous and some label it as perhaps the most impactful comedic works of our generation. And it is precisely so for most of the reasons that iamthad1546 provides herein. However, this aspect is at the same time the least notable of main points (as hard as that may be to believe) which I will continue to further detail 2)iamthad1546’s comment, being analogous to daryllot5468’s own musings, pinpoints a curious and esoteric criticism of Rick and Morty that those surprisingly both within and outside the fandom share- That is both the joke and the “annoyance” that those who praise Rick and Morty believe that the show is unique, mainly do so because only “Truly intelligent” people such as themselves are able to grasp its elusive scientific concepts, as it were. Whereas in reality someone who genuinely believes this to be the case is more than likely to be “sub-par” in cognitive faculties. But let us Segway to our 3rd and final point- 3) Above all iamthad1546 brilliance lies in his ability to draw parallels between daryllot5468’s initial comment and the second main point that I have previously stated herein. There are those who argue that this is a form of condescension on iamthad1546’s comment, and this is not entirely unreasonable. However, my personal belief is that this is a cynical take, and that true linguistic beauty can only be found in the most optimistic appraisals of human interaction. (Through written word, spoken, or otherwise) In summation, I do thank you all for attending this lecture, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have. If anyone has has any further questions or extrapolations that they might want to add, please do not hesitate to ask!
It would be a betrayal to not have the 4 best teams. Fsu would be an underdog to all 4 teams in the playoffs plus Georgia Ohio state, and Oregon. The committee got it right.
As an FSU fan, one that thought they would lose but also that they earned the right to take their shot, I appreciate this. Also I appreciate you not putting Herbie at the end lol
As an FSU fans, i respect that you guys are more objective than anyone on the committee. My issue is if they were gonna leave FSU out of the playoffs once our QB went down then why did the committee continue to rank them in the top 4?
Because the committee were cowards that didn't want to upset anyone until Bama winning forced their hand. They were hoping UGA and Louisville would win, making it easy to slide TX in the 4 slot behind UGA, Mich, and Wash.
@@talcat8031 Its actually fairly simple, unless you just want to be mad. The issue is that from WEEK TO WEEK things change, and the last week they change doubly so. FSU looking bad one game, maybe a fluke, two games shows a trend downward, while Alabama was trending upward. Pretty simple stuff, but I can understand why people would be mad. But they also just got it right for BEST which takes more into account than just what stats favor one team or the other. For instance, SOS, 5 vs 55, big deal. Alabama beating #1 is an actual big deal, even if you dont want it to be. Liberty went undefeated, if you dont believe they should be over Texas, then you DO believe in more than wins/losses, and that conferences and strength of schedule matters.

I love these videos, and I deeply appreciate how you guys just pointed out literally everything wrong with everything about this. Thank you for not being nose-turned-up SEC people. I didn’t expect this… but man I’m glad I watched it. Very serious yet very funny. Well played.
"Disney has already hooked me up with a Lightning Lane pass..." I'm dying! The only way to make sense of FSU being left out is if Disney-owned ESPN (who is broadcasting the playoff games) is at the heart of the selections. This is why I look forward to these videos every week!
"inconsistency" lol. Alabama is the better team at the moment. They just beat the previous #1 team and while FSU could barely score against Louisville. They would have 100% lost against Georgia if FSU played that game, but Alabama didn't. In a matchup between the two, Alabama would be favored and that's the definition of being a better team. There's no mistaking that they definitely aren't "inconsistent" just because they put a better team in the playoffs that some people don't like.
@coolbrotherf127 Alabama struggled terribly with a terrible Auburn just the week before. They struggled with a terrible Arkansas. They struggled with South Florida. They got run off their own field by Texas.
@@coolbrotherf127wth? I'm an Auburn alum and y'all barely beat us with our record. You lost to Texas. I'm sorry but playoffs shouldn't have been in your thought process. ACC isn't a conference to dismiss. Yeah if it was Big 10 or PAC I'd see your point about strength of schedule. But ACC? What is the point of a playoff system if you don't have actual playoffs? Rich bimbos declare who goes to top 5 because Disney needs money? Sorry for being sassy having flashbacks to undefeated Auburn in 2004 when the BCS was in charge. Thought a playoff system would eliminate some of the stuff.
@@coolbrotherf127the SEC was 4-6 against the ACC, 1-2 against the Big 12 and 2-1 against the PAC-12. The SEC was definitely overrated this year. Georgia and Alabama were both awful this year, Georgia benefited from an easy schedule, and still didn’t know how to play a first half and constantly allowed their opponents to score a touchdown on the team’s first possession, and they needed a touchdown to beat Auburn, couldn’t score more than 3 points against South Carolina in the first half, with their big win coming against Mizzou, Alabama struggled against South Florida, got completely dominated by Texas in Alabama, needed a 4th and 31 against Auburn of all teams. Kentucky beat Louisville by 7 points and Florida State beat that same team by 10, with a 3rd string quarterback. Florida State also had one of the best defenses in College Football.
As a Nole fan (in pain) I just want to say thanks for being fair. When I clicked the thumb I expected a complete tea-bagging, but instead, you guys gave me the first laugh I've had in the last 24 hours. Thanks and good job.
They’re good like that. So genuinely upset for y’all. As an LSU fan, I had the distinct experience of both an FSU and Bama loss. FSU deserved it. Period. Undefeated ACC Champion. That’s a playoff spot.
Matt Mitchell (Formerly of "It's a Southern Thing") will likely put one out this afternoon that'll probably also point out ho Alabama got in despite not deserving it also. If you need another laugh
This year was going be a mess as soon as Alabama upset Georgia, because you had 4 1 loss teams, and 3 no loss teams(4 if you count the Flames, but considering opponents...) Multiple teams were going to get the short stick. That FSU ended up with the shortest stick of all is just... the whole playoff committee system in a nutshell, tbh. If FSU or Georiga either 1 demolish the other, like not even a game, demolish, it is going to de legitimize the winner of the playoff. Though, even beyond the implications of that match up, it is going to be interesting to see how those 2 teams respond to the disappointment. Will both come in playing angry, or will one, or both, come in unable to put the disappointment behind them, and playing poorly? Or will they be able to play like it was a normal game? Georgia has had issues showing up in the first half this year, and it seems to have come back to bite them in this last game. Alabama has struggled to play consistently, showing greatness at times, but also looking like a mid performer at times. Texas has mostly looked fairly good, not as good as Bama at their best, but much more consistent, especially considering how Bama struggles to put together even a single whole game of their best. And then there is Ohio state, with its only loss early season to Michigan.. why should they be punished more for an early season loss than Bama? Between the 4, just drawing one from a hat would almost be as fair as trying to pick between them, imo. And picking 2 of them over FSU.. that ain't right.
Bravo! This may be one of your best shorts ever. Thank you for pointing out the absurdity...and from a group called "SEC Shorts." You, my friends, have much more integrity than those people in that CFP committee.
I love that they covered most of the talking points, especially shooting down the whole idea that the room is just riddled with SEC bias because no one in the room has any affiliation with the conference at all.
I have to say I was dreading the video this week because the pain is deep and still very fresh, but damned if you didn’t knock it out of the park. Thanks, guys!
As a TN fan, more like to give the SEC a guarantee to entrance. If one loss doesn't matter, then GA. had as much right as AL. What was TX ranked when they embarrassed AL on their own field? And if they are looking to rationalize a team's worth, other than record. If GA had realized the 1st half that AL knew they were there for a street fight (and tried to bully AL) and brought their A game, then that game would have had different results. And the score was closer than Bama's loss to TX. It was as close as Bama's debacle at Auburn - at mediocre Auburn. And GA had been in the top spot all year. They basically screwed GA, FSU, and Ohio St to accommodate Nick Saban and his fanboy sports talk guys. We have them here in TN also.
@@johnnydavidson5343 I agree with you there. GA was consistently good, Bama bad. Bama not even in the top 6 at all. This is why it seems being undefeated has to count for something, and being able to be consistent.
Of course, that generates interest and keeps it 'relevant". It was always planes that way. Otherwise they would have done 6 teams, all power 5 champs and a wild card.
Man, they really need to rename this to CFB Shorts. It’s awesome to see how you can point out all the issues with the committee and college football as a whole and still have fun. Well done, SEC Shorts, well done.
SEC Shorts out here confronting controversial issues better than SNL. Also, as a PAC 12 fan, I feel like if Washington wasn’t undefeated, we would be in the same position as FSU and both Alabama and Georgia would’ve made the Playoff.
As an SEC fan, the SEC really didn't deserve the benefit of the doubt this year. This was clearly about the all mighty dollar and the revenue the SEC brings. Really the committee was debating between Washington and FSU. FSU happened to "look worse" against an "inferior" opponent in their championship game. To leave out a power 5 conference that beat literally everyone on their schedule was just wrong.@@AllFouRoux
Yeah. ESPN was really pushing for Oregon to win. If they did it would take the Pac 12 out of the playoff. Then they would put their favorite SEC teams or Ohio State in the playoffs instead.

Thank You. My favorite sketch comedy group has more integrity than those trusted to oversee the playoffs. You skewered the exact right “team” (committee) again this week. Love you guys and your work!
As a Gator fan that was raised with the Bulldogs and Seminoles as mortal enemies, even I felt bad about FSU. I felt even worse for Georgia with how it went down on the big screen. We live in Georgia and were at a restaurant sitting at the bar watching the TV and the whole place went up in cheers when they brought out Georgia's logo, assuming it was for the 4th bracket, and then they put them at the bottom. I'm married to an Alabama fan who was proudly flying his colors, and it got pretty uncomfortable for a few minutes because this restaurant had just had their Grand Opening so it was completely packed. Lawd I thought I was gonna have to throw hands trying to get through the crowd when we left LOL
I'll just say this. As an Alabama fan, even I agree there's a good argument for FSU getting in over Alabama. I think there's a valid argument for Alabama too, but I'm not going to argue against anyone who thinks FSU should've gotten in over Alabama because no one can say they're wrong. But the idea that Georgia should've been 4th over Alabama after losing to them the night before is just crazy talk. If there are two teams with a valid argument to be 4th, Georgia ain't one of them. Roll tide.
@@davidh4653exactly. You can't argue Texas deserved a spot for beating Bama months ago and then pretend UGA should be in over Bama. Everyone used that argument to get Texas in. Then Georgia must be out. At that point you have to account for SOS too if you want to talk best teams and even deserving teams.
As a man who follows an LOVES the SEC for decades (War Eagle!…I know…) I share every single one of these videos! The script concepts to the acting, how you nail each week in the SEC throughout the season is second to NONE!! You all are hilarious! Hope, to the grim reaper bit, they have me rolling with laughter, but as an Auburn fan, my FAVORITE skit is the Auburn ride at SEC Experience. PLEASE come back for another season or let us know where to find you all!
The CFP committee is a joke. 100% they just did what they felt like to get Bama in. Texas came with Bama as a package deal because of the head to head loss. FSU got monumentally screwed here. Maybe this is their way of quelling any doubts that moving to a 12 team playoff is the right move.
I doubt it. You watch, next year if Alabama is 9-3 or 10-2 and sitting at #12 (a spot that will belong to the highest G5 team) when the last rankings release, someone with the same or a better record at either #10 or #11 will get bumped down to #13 so Alabama can be in the 12 team playoff.
My thing is I get the logic behind what they did. But I don't get the logic in why or how they left FSU out given the past and how they handled these situations. CFB it is impossible to control how your opponents season will play out when these games are scheduled several years in advance. So to penalize a team for taking care of business after schedule tough out of conference games (against the "superior SEC") is just an unfair situation.
You got that right You don't move up teams that were 7 and 8 up four places and then penalize one who lost their first game of the year and then who didn't lose at all and won their conference it's sad and ridiculous
It increased my doubt. I don't think the 12-team playoff is going to fix this. What this shows is that the "committee" views teams with 1 more loss in the SEC (and I'd guess the B1G starting next year) as just simply better than teams in the ACC and Big 12. It wouldn't surprise me if next year we see 2 and 3 loss SEC/B1G teams getting the at large bids over 1 and 2 loss ACC/Big 12 teams because "it just means more" in the SEC and B1G or something. I'm very much prepared for the CFP to have 4 SEC and 4 B1G teams every year moving forward, with 3-4 teams from the ACC/Big 12 combined (and 0-1 G5 teams).
@@RayearthIXconsidering Oregon and Washington are moving to the big 10, and Texas is moving to the sec, a 12 team playoff this year would have included liberty, one acc team, 5 to be big 10 teams, and 5 to be sec teams. So the conferences are about to get very imbalanced, so it’s definitely possible the committee might do this and not even be wrong.
As a Bama fan, I was ready to get left out, even with the conference championship, I felt bad for FSU they deserve to be in. Thankfully, and this is no help to FSU, this is the last year we have to endure this. They should have expanded the playoff a long time ago.
Maybe no one else will see this, but this FSU diehard did. Thank you. This isn't Alabama's fault, so no hard feelings to them... but I do wish more of your fellow Bama folks could see how this was a travesty for the sport... for ALL of us.
@@scottkinnebrew7924 Can not say I disagree, to me the only debate should have been do you put in Bama or Texas. FSU got the short of end of the stick and NCAA Football fans every where got shafted. If FSU wins their bowl game they have every right to claim to be Co-National Champs this year.

It really damaged an institution that I have loved all my life.
Oh ... So much irony in your statement. If the NOLE Nation wants the rest of the world to agree that they "deserved" to be in Top 4 ... Just beat Georgia and you'll have lots of support. IF Georgia wins, then the committee decision is validated. Option 3, keep whining and see if it has positive effects ... I guarantee recruits don't want to play for whiners
Y’all have no argument with the sec. FSU beef should be with the ncaa for allowing Michigan to play post season. That is fsu spot. Michigan is the only team that literally doesn’t deserve to be there.
@@longsleevethong1457 Truth be told, I don’t. Bama is doing what works for Bama. I live in Georgia, grew up in Florida on the Alabama/Georgia line, so I know a helluva lot of SEC fans. This bothers them too. My issue is with ESPN who I truly believe had influence over the committee and chose to launch a campaign to keep FSU out which started before Travis’ injury. The only evidence you need is to go watch the ACC championship game. They spent 80% of the game trashing FSU and questioning whether they belonged. I tuned in to watch a game, not a political debate.
I love the Renasant Bank outro. Well done!!! A burn that severe requires a trip to the Emergency Room. This season, Renasant has really stepped-up their game.

Beating a bunch of mostly high-school level teams doesn't make for a playoff deserving team. Literally only 2 ranked teams in their schedule...and not very highly ranked. Remember what happened to when Georgia played TCU in the playoffs?
You guys have out done yourselves again. Thanks for another season of laughs. Please try and fit in another Regina spot before you close shop for the season!
You live in a small world. Most folks turn off college football as soon as their own team is done playing. You know, real fans that went to a college and cheer for it. Not a bunch of half-educated yahoos cheering for whomever ESPN or SI tells them too. College football? Yawn. Playoff system does nothing except benefit the big money, not the real fans.
Hate the ncaa for allowing Michigan to play at post season. The bigger issue is allowing Michigan to play. Not allowing Bama in. Michigan spot belongs to fsu. Not Bama
Imagine meeting the same criteria as two other top four teams by being a power 5 program. winning all your regular season games, winning your conference and being told by a bunch of soft cowards who forgot what its like to actually play on the field that, "Sorry, your efforts still aren't good enough to compete for the title." The committee should feel nothing but shame, I'm an SEC lover but the facts are that FSU got robbed and the sport as a whole suffers for it as a result.
You haven’t read the CFP Committee bylaws, huh? You’re making uneducated statements. They have the right to account for injuries in their decisions. Facts > Feelings!
I honestly wish you guys were the CFP committee. I'm not even playing, you guys would do so much better of a job with your understanding of the game than what we have now. You guys are awesome!
When we get to the point of, what you do on the field doesn't matter, then why play the games. Let's just let the committee decide who wins and loses after they review the injury report. I'm done with college football this season.
This is so wrong. They refused to take Michigan out after being caught cheating. The ncaa is dirty for big10 not the sec. Michigan shouldn’t be bowl Eligible for 2 years.
Yep it wasn't the four best teams it was the four most popular teams you know they didn't want Georgia to win another championship and keep good ole Alabama from not winning another one so the teams should've been Michigan Washington Florida State and UGA
The best ever!! Thank you for actually having the wherewithal to call it as it is. Makes me really sad not to see Herbie have the guts to come on here and support it though. Just shows how much money talks. Well done SEC Shorts, Very well done indeed.
The CFP has always been as much a financial decision (viewership) as it was the 4 best teams. The expanded Playoffs gives them cover to help hide this bias in the future.
I've said the same thing. If this were the situation a year ago I think they keep FSU in. But given that they now immediately go to 12 teams they know people will "get over it" quicker.
They expanded it because Alabama was winning it all, and everyone whined, then they found out Alabama would win it all in a 4 team, and then started whining, and now they want 12.. Guess who will win then? :)
I always laughed at others for proclaiming SEC bias. Now I don't have a good argument. Glad we're going to 12 teams next year. Hopefully, it will have some substance to being a champ.
It's wild that it took 10 years for the system to finally fold to the flaws of only having 4 slots for too many teams. There wasn't a 'right' or decision this year, but a 'correct' one was made.
This would have been a non-issue if the ACC, Big 10, and Pac 12 didn't make that "alliance" to stop the 12 team playoff back in 2021. That really came back to bite the ACC and the Pac 12 bc the Big 10 just back stabbed everyone.
This x 100. Everyone conveniently forgets the conferences that delayed the 12 team playoff. The ACC inadvertently burned its champion. That’s why they are loudly protesting. The 12 teams this year would have solved this.
@harbinger6616 stop with that garbage straw man argument, Alabama did not deserve to make it! Both Alabama and Georgia barely made it by terrible teams, Alabama sucked this year the whole season, and FSU won out, they earned it!
ESPN pivoted from using SoR to SoS to benefit the narrative of leaving Florida State out. Alabama needed a miracle to beat a VERY mediocre Auburn team and barely scraped by terrible Arkansas/USF teams.
@daniellineberry8879 Every team in the SEC and the Big 12, except for Cincinnati, had harder schedules than FSU. It's not a strawman argument at all to say that FSU has hardly proven themselves. The committee learned from the mistakes of letting Cincinnati into the playoff in 2021. A team whose sole value rests in their undefeated status, without having the strength of schedule to back it up, is fated to be blown to pieces. Look, I get that folks feel bad for FSU, but let's be real. The playoff calls for the 4 best teams at the end of the year. An FSU team limping to the finish in a weak conference doesn't inspire confidence. But next year, with the new system, we'll see the champs of every major conference, and nobody will be able to whine about anything ranking-related until the poser conferences like the ACC get blown out in playoff games.
@@daniellineberry8879FSU should have been in over both BAMA and Georgia but the Majority of the time Georgia destroyed terrible teams just like FSU, FSU barely got by some average or below average teams but the majority of the time beat them with ease .

As such, I would be prudent to dissect iamthad5458’s “Hot take” as follows:
1) Rick and Morty is indeed humorous and some label it as perhaps the most impactful comedic works of our generation. And it is precisely so for most of the reasons that iamthad1546 provides herein. However, this aspect is at the same time the least notable of main points (as hard as that may be to believe) which I will continue to further detail
2)iamthad1546’s comment, being analogous to daryllot5468’s own musings, pinpoints a curious and esoteric criticism of Rick and Morty that those surprisingly both within and outside the fandom share- That is both the joke and the “annoyance” that those who praise Rick and Morty believe that the show is unique, mainly do so because only “Truly intelligent” people such as themselves are able to grasp its elusive scientific concepts, as it were. Whereas in reality someone who genuinely believes this to be the case is more than likely to be “sub-par” in cognitive faculties. But let us Segway to our 3rd and final point-
3) Above all iamthad1546 brilliance lies in his ability to draw parallels between daryllot5468’s initial comment and the second main point that I have previously stated herein. There are those who argue that this is a form of condescension on iamthad1546’s comment, and this is not entirely unreasonable. However, my personal belief is that this is a cynical take, and that true linguistic beauty can only be found in the most optimistic appraisals of human interaction. (Through written word, spoken, or otherwise)
In summation, I do thank you all for attending this lecture, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have. If anyone has has any further questions or extrapolations that they might want to add, please do not hesitate to ask!

Exactly. They basically admitted that there rankings were wrong before based off of what they had.

Kind of sucks since the best Disney is in Florida you think they would have stuck up for a Florida team.
Thank you SEC Shorts for using your wit and humor to point out the inconsistency of the CFP committee.

@@coolbrotherf127the SEC was 4-6 against the ACC, 1-2 against the Big 12 and 2-1 against the PAC-12. The SEC was definitely overrated this year.

4 spots and 5 power conferences. It’s like they designed the system to create controversy.

They didn't meet the same criteria. A major injury on the team is criteria. Strength of schedule is criteria. Eye test is criteria.
I guarantee you wouldn’t be saying this if lsu or auburn had beaten Georgia, but because it’s Bama it’s a travesty for the sport . Get out here
You haven’t read the CFP Committee bylaws, huh? You’re making uneducated statements. They have the right to account for injuries in their decisions. Facts > Feelings!
@billythompson3647 I do believe they're talking about FSU, not UGA.
@@EulogyfortheAngelsand the Alabama eye test the week before against Auburn definitely put them over the too
I love that Kirk wasn’t in this one 😅
This is your best episode of all time.
Thank you for the incisive marriage of wit and logic!
Thank you SEC shorts for this, really helps ease the pain.
- A bummed out FSU fan
Thank you for this video. I love the SEC, but I am so angry about FSU being kicked out when they had every right to that spot.
I honestly wish you guys were the CFP committee. I'm not even playing, you guys would do so much better of a job with your understanding of the game than what we have now. You guys are awesome!
Nice! A “12 Angry Men” reference. That’s Old School!
"those SEC commercials. it just means more. on the beach... with the lady!" sooooo funny!!!!
I'm actually shocked. I didn't expect this from you guys.
Believe it or not, Alabama does have some classy fans.
I bet this was incredibly cathartic my dude.
But aren't you a...Bama fan? 🤮
Love you Destin but, UGA should've beaten Bama this year. It was like watching a completely different team playing on the field.
In their defense, that Guardians of the Galaxy ride is amazing.
SEC...."I miss those commercials on the beach....with the lady !!!"😂
Wow! Great stuff!!! As always, clever and entertaining, but serious kudos for being willing to say what everyone is thinking vs the "company line."
Best one of the century. Kudos guys…we took a huge step back by not putting FSU in the final 4.
Greg was like Booger McFarland (LSU alum) while the rest of the committee was like the rest of ESPN. I applaud Booger and Greg.
Look FSU can't get the Notre Dame treatment
@@loganhowlett01 they did in 93 and 2000.
When we get to the point of, what you do on the field doesn't matter, then why play the games. Let's just let the committee decide who wins and loses after they review the injury report. I'm done with college football this season.
Best video of the season.. and 100% accurate.
When SEC shorts and Babylon Bee are more relevant than all the mainstream combined…. You know you’re Fkd. 😂
Even the SEC channel realizes how terrible the committee is!
No way the Four Letter was going to let the $EC get left out.
This is so wrong. They refused to take Michigan out after being caught cheating. The ncaa is dirty for big10 not the sec. Michigan shouldn’t be bowl Eligible for 2 years.
“ACC Shorts” 😂
🤣🤣🤣
No longer call them the College Football Playoff committee call them the College Football Invitational committee
Yep it wasn't the four best teams it was the four most popular teams you know they didn't want Georgia to win another championship and keep good ole Alabama from not winning another one so the teams should've been Michigan Washington Florida State and UGA
Lowkey props for that "he didn't come here to play school" joke about Cardele Jones 🤣
The best ever!! Thank you for actually having the wherewithal to call it as it is. Makes me really sad not to see Herbie have the guts to come on here and support it though. Just shows how much money talks. Well done SEC Shorts, Very well done indeed.
Well played. Thank you for making those points for the integrity of CFB. FSU deserves the chance.
As an Texas A&M fan...Florida State...we feel your pain.
ags were never robbed of a trip to the CFP.. haven't won a conference nor a division
@@brettm4643 Neither did Notre Dame...so what's your point.
@@ryant115 that you're comparing a really good team that was robbed to a really mediocre one- that was never robbed.
@@brettm4643 ...oh. You're one of those people. Got it. Haters gonna hate.
@@ryant115 don't worry- things are getting better in College Station.. oh wait.. now you gotta play OU and Texas
"This episode of ACC Shorts was brought to you by ..." The outtro gets funnier each week.
As a die hard SEC fan, this episode was perfect. The collective gasp when he said that maybe we don’t belong there this year 😂
I always laughed at others for proclaiming SEC bias.
If Alabama Had A Back Up QB & Was In The Same Situation They Would've Been In
@harbinger6616 stop with that garbage straw man argument, Alabama did not deserve to make it!
Yep that is so true Alabama has and will always get their way
The old school ending card got me. Bravo SEC Shorts
I'm not necessarily a fan of FSU but they got screwed. Going 13-0, winning their conference and NOT making it to the playoffs?! That's just wrong.
This video helped show me why there's a selection committee and why they don't just automatically go with the top 4 teams being in the playoffs. Because it's not about the teams that earned it, but what they think will provide the best TV viewership.
Which is really sad by the way
