Their coffee is so good. When you go back to PNG let them know it’s the best tasting coffee I’ve had. Always very dash shipping. Place the order on a Friday afternoon and I received it less than 48 hrs later
Your flying is the definition of "precision flying". Don't know how you do it. I have building, intersections, etc... as landmarks for turns, fixes, etc... You have lush mountainous terrain everywhere. Love watching your flying.
Absolutely awesome watching you do these flights, and giving us a full run through on what you are doing , and making it look so easy, which it definitely isn’t…..Thankyou 👍🇮🇲
Hearing you talk through takeoff prep - when you expect indicated airspeed based on landmarks on the runway as well as emergency procedures - was a great lesson. Thanks for sharing these videos.
WOW!! I am totally amazed the amount of work that a pilot must contend with. Many might assume that a pilot could say "Lets take off and fly" and enjoy the ride then "We are there..Lets land". Obviously this would be the exact opposite from reality. If I were a passenger with this Pilot flying I would feel totally at ease and confident. The good people of PNG are very fortunate to have this Pilot serving them. Thanks so much for sharing these interesting videos!
Hey Ryan… love your videos and I have to confess that you were the one who teach me how to perform correctly the soft field takeoffs an landings. Thanks!
I am so glad that you have returned to this noble job in New Guinea! Before that, I mistakenly decided that you were done with it, that you retired, bought yourself a STOL , and since now, your videos will only be about fishing in Alaska. May Allah bless and protect you for what you do for these people!
Hi Ryan. I've been watching you videos for some time and I find then extremely informative. I am a simmer with a love for the Kodiak and now because of you , also the Kitfox. I do pray for you and your mission. I say mission because everything you seems like purpose. You've influenced a lot of people and in a day when so much negatives exist, I salute anyone who give so much to so many. I still fly FSX, as i am not able to to acquire the new SIM yet. Priorities first. But when I can I will be taking your lessons on the Kodiak. Stay safe and God's continued blessings. Maybe some day you will plan a flight to Barbados.
Thanks for the kind note of encouragement. Send me your email address at ryan@missionarybushpilot.com and I'll hook you up with the Sim course for free.
I'm so glad you are back where you belong! I watch your videos all the time and I just ordered a bag of Papua New Guinea Coffee. Keep up the professional and informative videos, please. You provide an outstanding service for those nice folks in New Guinea.
Great video Ryan thanks we r watching numerous videos today of yours hope the sick people got better 🙏🏻 Thanks again love ur videos & ur commentary views from the kodiak r beautiful ur smooth landings always B safe all the best Jo & Winnie 🇳🇿
Another PNG beauty, but I'll be leaving patreon. Let me know when your life has directions different than crazy and obviously fun fixing up or hopping around the states. Looks like you are having fun 😁 but not my vibe. Thanks for the many seasons of being a bush pilot in PNG. Hope all goes super well for you and yours. Thanks for all your great great videos. Cheers and best to all. Carrie
So glad you are doing what you love again. It's God's work and you are a good and faithful servant. God bless you and your family as you continue to minister to the needs of the people their in PNG. ❤️
Loved it, I too appreciate the info you give during the flights you make. I hope your tail wheel assembly is almost finished and you can get back to flying your Kit Fox…….Roger
WOW dude ... i have my private and instrument but if i ever would fly as commercial pilot for anyone this would be my gig for sure... dude i absolutly admire all your skills and how you explain everything in your videos even the way it smells thanks for that brother ... i really appreciate the details ... every take off and landing is so special in your flights dude ... im impressed wow ... keep being a bad ass bro ... wow ...
Thanks, great video; impressive flying and landing. Perhaps you’ve mentioned this before, but can you tell us more about these remote airfields ( who built them/ why / how?) I can guess they were “built” by missionaries precisely for relief flights, but wonder if that is a good guess.🤔
It has been a few months since making a trip to Las Vegas, but I don't remember Kingman, AZ being that lush and green. The people in the video seem friendlier though. As for the Kitfox, the conversion to the turbine engine is an excellent choice. Regarding the patients you picked up, they must have been really sick. They appeared really blurry. Must have been heat waves coming off of them because they were running high fevers.
Looks like a Caravan except for the insignia on the yokes and rudder shape is a bit more chunky at the rear (maybe). If it's not a Caravan maybe it's a plane.
Watching you bounce on that undulating ground, are you in danger of grounding the prop on some of these runways? Great videos, very informative and beautiful scenery.
Once again, great videos, please tell me which engine version you have and how do you calculate your take-off and landing performances on such a runway with such a slope? I tried finding an answer from the POH but without sucess.
Hey! I was really hoping to get your opinion on the clarity aloft had said you wear!!(I think that’s the brand you have) I’m in general aviation flying mostly Cherokees and Cessnas. I am just on the fence about getting the clarity aloft or the Bose A20. I would really love your thoughts or maybe a video review between the two???
I prefer the clarity aloft because its light and doesnt give me a headache after a full day of flying. The sound is very similar, just a different tone.

No, the nose wheel would have to collapse before I hit the ground
Love watching your videos. Always wanted to be a pilot. But I did fly hang glider. So I did fly lol.

Clarity aloft headset*

The kid with a machete at 0:34 😂
The wind sheer right on approach looked a bit nerve racking.
Engine failure at take off is just not an option by the looks of the terrain.
Another great update! Different mic?
Is "Quest Aviation" the name of the flight company or the plane?
i wonder if the passengers know about the volcano or just think you fart real bad hah
👍👍👍
Wow you needs an experienced pilot to perform such landings
Like to know how long this eleven minute trip would take by car (or by foot.)
im new to this and curious how do I see what is your departure runway name and arrival runway name so I can simulate the same trip in x plane 11?
qual ICAO DA PISTA?
"No birds, no dogs." - have you ever encountered either on preparing for takeoff?
