    Came from Matt D'Vella's video. Thank you for the CARs' routine Nicole. I will do everyday from now. This is not easy, especially from hips down, but I know I will get better.

    I’m 72. I have arthritis in wrist/hands. Those exercises give me tingly fingers. I have extreme Bunions and I can’t do the toe ones at all. My shoulders and neck tend to be stiff and it’s worse on rainy days which today is❤

    Holy Sh*t!! Just saw Tik Tok video discussing . I had a Car accident - person slammed my car ( totaling) from behind in 2015. Herniated and splintered L5 which embedded in my nerve. Ex dancer and excellent power in legs and feet . Not anymore . Horrible muscle memory . Exercise but numbness and neuropathy in foot , Achilles’ tendon ( my foot is not only partially numb but flat ) . I’m starting these today . When these start to make a difference I will scream from the rooftops . I am desperate to function much better and continue to resume all the activities I feel terribly lacking in .

    Found you accidentally at 3:25am while unable to sleep and trying to view tik tok on Apple TV. Usually hate exercise instruction because it’s just regimented/mechanical. Your instruction reminds me of Denise Austin who I like because you both are extremely generous with info as you instruct. I like knowing all the filler/extras you share. Never been a workout enthusiast, but, now at age 70, blood pressure is starting to creep up. I think it is strictly due to weight. I gained 20 pounds in 4 years (mostly in middle core area) while caring for my mom and being housebound. I don’t want to go on meds, so I started walking every morning and now plan to add you to my daily routine.

    this video is lovely and clear and concise, only thing which would make it even better would be if you talked through even the repetitions, just because it is hard to begin with to know whether you are doing it right and the guidance is needed repeatedly. Thank you.

    Is it a concern that I “crack” when I do these? I’m 72. Also I have bad bunions and old feet injuries so I can’t do the one toe at a time💕🙏🥰

    • @thenicolesciacca
      @thenicolesciacca  3 месяца назад

      cracking is okay as long as no pain is present!

    interesting, my chiropractor said people should never to take the head back, only side, front to side. Do you know any reason for that?

    • @thenicolesciacca
      @thenicolesciacca  3 месяца назад

      I do not and I'd ask for clarity. Was this specifically for you? The neck is made to flex, extend and rotate. We injure tissue when the load exceeds the tissue's capacity to hold it. Everything is trainable and as long as you don't feel pain moving in that direction slowly and deliberately, I wouldn't write it off. xx

      Hi Steven, yes it will. If you have hardware in the body your soft tissue still needs attention to work with the hardware. CARs will certainly help!!

    Is this CARS routine a “joint warm up” to activate synovial fluid prior to dynamic stretch, or other exercise, or is CARS a stretch routine?

      Thanks Wil,
      I’m intrigued by your comment “supposed”.
      I wonder, do you like me, find a conflict with the stretch element?
      We’re taught to rotate before stretching, yet CARS is without doubt stretching, so this has left me somewhat confused! 😊

    • @thenicolesciacca
      @thenicolesciacca  Год назад +1

      Hey John, CARS isn't meant to be a stretch per se. You may feel a stretch as you move through the active range of motion you experience in completing these rotational movements. CARs itself is an assessment of how each joint moves, individually, through it's safest greatest pain free ROM.
