Hey dude, I have a Wild Cherry machine from ‘94. The dude I bought it from said he’s never hit a jackpot on this machine from my research I found about the dip switches in so I believe I have them set up to wear now there should be a jackpot here and there but just wondering if you got any tips or advice or just help? Thank you!
Alternate solution for this issue. This connector had too much current going through it, causing excessive heat, which corroded and damaged the connector, which caused a worse connection, which caused the connector to eventually fail. Many kinds of equipment that look like this (especially pinball games) have small "test points" scattered around. These are typically little studs or loops that let you connect a VOM/DVM (test meter) to check for voltages. If your Molex connector (the white plug with multiple springy terminals shown in this video) is in really bad shape (too much current was passed through too small a connector -- clearly an engineering failure) you MIGHT consider clipping the wire off the Molex connector and stripping and soldering the wire to the Test Point. This will permanently fix this issue. In order to remove the wire in the future, you'll have to de-solder and re-solder the wire if needed, but that's not a big issue. If you've never soldered before, study a few RUclips videos to learn the right way to do it -- there are definitely some do's and don'ts. Also, if you decide to keep the original connector, consider spraying it with DeOxit -- a variety of products that help remove oxidation and improve connectivity. Available online and at Micro Center stores. Expect to pay $10 - $15 for a tiny spray can or liquid.
I have exact same issue and did the same fix but today, the reels are on "stiff" but the front lights wont come on and reels do not spin when door is shut. Any info on that?
found an upgrade harness on eBay for this problem $30, female plug has 3 points of contact verse the stock one point of contact on each male pin... much better connection. eBay vender calls it IGT S & S Plus, S+ Power Supply to Motherboard Harness 18 AWG Trifurcon contacts
Do you know how to turn up the volume on my IGT Plus slot machine? I had to replace the battery, which I did, and everything started working, but the volume is way down. I haven't found a good video for this particular machine on how to raise the volume and thought you might know.
@@radogutierrez9545 is this the volume knob? Please see attached photo. (Didn't upload) I ask because I can feel a little wheel/knob below that half circle notch, but it doesn't seem to change the volume when I turn it, whether clockwise or counterclockwise. BTW -- RUclips would not allow me to upload a photo. Do you know if there is a way for me to send a jpg to you or otherwise upload it here?
I have one one of these, my daughter had the handle pulled down when it hit a cherry and two red 7's now it wont stop dinging or reset. Any advice would be appreciated. The coin numbers arent going up its just starts dinging when i unplug and plug it back in the reels go back to the cherry and two red 7s
@@radogutierrez9545 I just did after watching a few videos. Credits are reset. It stopped dinging. Now its not counting the quarters when you put them in

Do you have the next video how to repair the reel spin.

Door optics may need adjustments so they are aligned correctly
In other words the door doesn't think it's closed

I have a double diamond deluxe that keeps throwing a 21 error code. It's driving me crazy
@@SouthTexasExplorers code 21 usually means your coin optics is blocked from coins not passing through or maby needing replacement. Super easy fix
Anyone know why the video is scrambled about a minute into it?

I'm not in front of a machine at moment but top of the rear panel (game chip\board) there is a round volume knob , just barely sticks up past the top
