Been in many rooms where I’ve felt like I don’t belong 😭😭😭my house has been on fire for 4 years since my son committed suicide October 3rd, 2020. No parent should EVER have to bury their own child.
I haven't been in very many rooms that I felt like I belonged really there might be 3 people in the world who I feel comfortable around and two of them are my brothers the third was my fiance who left me in November and asked me for no contact the day before Valentine's day and I haven't seen or heard from her since but I'm still as in love with her as I have been since very shortly after we met, I always thought she would be my wife and although she has a lot of mental health issues she always made me feel like I belonged even when she asked for no contact she had said that it was so she could work on herself to be the person I deserved I tried to tell her she was so much more than I thought I deserved but she has never been able to hear anything positive about herself, she's had a very difficult life, I truly tried everything I could think of to make her feel like she belonged but I'm afraid that I have failed her, I have to fight myself every single day not to go to her and pull her close and try to get through to her but I am afraid that she has convinced herself that she can't be with me or something. I truly hope that if she ever needs me she will know that I am here for her and if she ever figures out that she doesn't need to be any more than what she has always been I hope she finds her way back to me, because every minute without her is an eternity in hell for me.
My dad committed suicide when I was 10. Attempted a number of times in our home before finally succeeding. I saw it all. Left me feeling abandoned and wounded.
Such profound words that are so so true there are too many divisions in our workplaces in our home communities sporting events and even concerts we need to tear down our walls and be more inviting to our co-workers and neighbors we lived in a city for 8 years and only knew 4 or 5 neighbors and now live in a small town for 9 years and still only know a handful of people A symptom of trying to be human 9:16

I have tried to go to far with the xanax a few times and I was never hospitalized until I tried to stop taking them apparently it's more deadly to stop taking them after you have been taking them for years, I figured if too many couldn't kill me, none wouldn't stand a chance, I don't remember anything about it until I woke in the hospital but apparently my wife had called my dad when I started seizing and fell between the bed and the wall apparently my dad had to get my brother to help him to get me out and into the van and I guess it was a scary situation for everyone else but I haven't taken a xanax since although I still have horrible anxiety and depression I remember everything.

I’ve been through hellacious things for a long time. It got worse mentally after my divorce. I really hoped my divorce was the end of my personal battles. It only got worse. I’m a fighter though. Never thought I’d get an opportunity to meet Shinedown too. I raised all my kids on Shinedown. About 2 weeks ago we/ my son and I got to meet Berry Kirch. Only the best drummer on earth. I am 44 and started playing drums Christmas night 2 years ago. I aspire to be as good as him. My whole life I loved the drums. Finally picked up the sticks. I call them my fiddle sticks. I recommend picking up an instrument if you have anxiety or whatever you suffer. It’s calming., and therapeutic.

This song has helped me in the worst time of my life. I lost my best friend this past August ended up in the hospital for a benzo addiction. I'm still fighting everyday to beat this addiction. I fight every day and it's really hard just to wake up some days.
