I too recieved the Kalour 300 and I really do like them alot. They are slightly different from my absolute fav's, Prismacolors. I have switched them and they are beautiful. I'm only 4 months into this new adventure of coloring and Pamela is correct in saying they are highly pigmented and I love that they work so well if I lay the Prismas on top of them. To me they were definitely worth the purchase and glad that I have soooooo many color options, I don't think you're going to be disappointed and get a case for them.
I ordered this set on sale too. They should be here any day now! I can't wait to try most, if not all of these combos! Of course I'd love to see you do a coloring book with them!💕

These are so beautiful!!! But I'm starting to want to see muted tones, like half the pigment has been removed and still see how well they blend and "pop" in that muted way. Not pastel, but all those colors that don't have the saturation, yet still bring out the best in each other. The best way I can think of it is quilting cotton bright vs. pale chiffon fabric. It would be like adding more water to a pan of paint. Mixing bright items and muted items on a page are sortof like background pale or sunny or sky, and foreground. Does that make sense? I love your brights. I would like to see your pale combos too.
I bought the 240 set and attempted to put them in family order. However, in the end I found myself feeling frustrated because there are so many pencils. I was really surprised when I swatched them out and saw how pigmented they are. They are really easy on my hands. I tested them in a Marie Trolle book and they just love the paper. On a different note, I want to thank you Pamela for creating this wonderful colour combinations.
Hi Louisa, these are not the same as the 180 set. Those are different pencils. If they're the black barrel pencils, they're the same as the 180 Soucolor and Brutfuner.
The ones I have don't have a black barrel they come in a black tine with an elephant on the front of it, but have the same names has some you have used in the video. Thank you for letting me know tho.
Please put them in color family order. I roughly did it myself, but I would love to see your take on it. I know it’s a huge amount of pencils and a lot of work.
Well Pam, I couldn't resist. I bought the 300 set... I need help!!! They are sooo pretty and silky smooth. I just love them even after swatching them on the sheet provided and re-swatching them in color family order while I place them in their new case. I really am in trouble, good trouble......
I realized I wasn't going to use them until I took them out of the tin. There are so many trays in the tin that it's just overwhelming and hard to take them out and put them back in to find colors. You will love them so much more if they're organized in a case.

There is a lot of gorgeous color in this set for sure. I have been using my pastel Brutfuner along with my Kalours. Here's a different combination that I'm using right now. Beige (Brutfuner), Lilac, Cadmium Red, and Orchid Purple. The unexpected red gives a nice effect.
Can I please ask a favor. In order to hear you I have to keep my volume set at 33, When you switch to the music the volume blasts. Can you play the music at a lower volume, PLEASE.

I just got the 180 set delivered today. I know this is an old video but I’d really love to see you color with Kalour brand pencils.

No I haven't. The last Color Along I did, I used Prismacolors along with some other art mediums like Posca pens, Stickles, and Distress Inks.

I haven't had that issue at all. I'm so sorry yours are breaking. I've had very good luck with this set and am enjoying using them.
